The easiest way to see these challenges (if you haven’t purchased them already) is to visit the Mix-n-Match page and sort by Expiration Date.

Those of you who were planning on playing the UK Playfest in Poppit, there’s been an update from Pogo UK:

“We are currently experiencing an unforeseen issue with our Pogo UK Summer Sizzler Playfest. As a result, you may encounter unexpected warning messages in the chat window. We are currently investigating the issue as a matter of utmost urgency and will run another update as soon as more information is available. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”

We didn’t experience any problems, but other users have reported not getting credit for their super pops or tokens for their first super pop; you might want to wait until the problems are sorted out — maybe tomorrow — before trying again. For the US folks who are ineligible to win prizes in the Playfest, just get one super pop in Poppit to earn your 5,000 tokens. The Playfest ends on Monday, so you’ve got plenty of time.

The Poppit Slots were a LOT of fun. At the Borgata in Atlantic City they were penny slots and for a max bet it was 250 credits (or $2.50) per spin. (You could change the credit denomination to 2 or 5 cents as well!) The first time I played, Spike gobbled up $80 or so, but the second time I slid in a cool $100 bill and walked away with nearly double that. The real winnings on this machine are the prizes, both in the regular spins (across the multiple lines) and in the bonus round. The bonus round is just like Poppit!, and the prizes you release are worth credits.

As I pointed out to the nice lady next to me (who plays Pogo all the time at home, she said), if you rub Spike on the touchscreen, he giggles and wiggles around on the screen. It’s Poppit cuteness overload.
