There’s a new Premium Badge Album in the works (in addition to the Family Classics Premium Badge Album we told you about earlier)! It’s got ten animated badges and one for completion. There will be challenges in Aces Up, Everyone Wins Bingo, Hog Heaven Slots, KenoPop, Lottso, Pogo Addiction Solitaire, Pogo Bowl, Poppit, Sweet Tooth, and possibly Dice City Roller.
Also, this one seems to have a picnic-type theme, and a few of the badges feature squirrels (or chipmunks — we can never tell these cartoon ones apart).
Update: Our friend Kathy wrote in this morning to tell us that this album will be called “Friends Forever”.

However, Pogo reps have assured us that you’ll be automatically awarded the badge once it’s been created.

Here are the in-game mini items that are being awarded in Pogo Addiction Solitaire:
The female sweatshirt is the blue one, and the male is the grey one. Winning one sweatshirt gets you the other automatically if you ever decide to change your mini’s gender. If you are awarded your Spike hat, it currently shows up under Hair, not Hats, in your closet at the mini mall. (It will be moved to the more appropriate “Hats” category sometime in April.)
How to get these items: in the bonus round, if you successfully uncover all moneybags without uncovering a fire, you will have a 20% chance of winning one of these mini items.

We’ve seen some of a set of really wonderful mini backgrounds and mini goodies that are Pogo-themed. The backgrounds are scenes of Thousand Island Solitaire, Bingo Luau, Sweet Tooth 2, and Hangman Hijinks. There are also some coordinating mini items: a beach ball and baby in a crib that are stylized like Hangman Hijinks and a Tumble Bees honey pot. We’re guessing these will be awarded in Pogo Addiction Solitaire or will be on sale at the time of its release. We’ll fill you in when we see more of the set or when we find out how these can be acquired!

The game rules are fairly simple but this game is not the easiest to win. Power-ups and the reshuffling feature are valuable items. If you do not use either of these to win the game you will be rewarded with extra tokens.
“Arrange the cards from left to right, 2 to King, in each suit. Move cards into unoccupied spaces by placing the next highest card in suit and sequence to the right of any card. If you run out of moves, reshuffle the deck or use a power-up to continue playing.”
You don’t rank up by winning the game, you rank up by finding Pogo Buddies through normal gameplay. For every 10 Pogo Buddies (bobble-head collectibles) you receive you will get to play the bonus game. The bonus game is played a lot like the bonus game in Vaults of Atlantis where you uncover squares (in this case, Pogo Buddies) until you receive a “stopper” (in this case, a fire icon). The bonus game is played for tokens (and rumor has it that it’s got a great payout too) and the possibility of winning one of the five mini items available in this game.
“You’ve unlocked the Tiki Bros. Bonus game. There are 9 (moneybag) icons and 1 (fire) icon in the game. Click on the Pogo Buddies to reveal the icons but stay away from the (fire) or the bonus game ends. Reveal all (moneybag) icons for a chance to win a mini item.”
