Today bring a few new items to the mini mall, including pants (yay pants!) for our minis. There are also some older spring and summery items that have been re-released. Check ‘em out.

In addition, earlier this week the Mini Mall was (slightly) updated with a few new graphics and new navigation. These new graphics match the new look that is planned in an upcoming Club Pogo homepage redesign. This sets the mall up for the new pet store section. It’ll be a while before this feature is out, but in the meantime check out this header graphic that they’ve created for it:

There’s a special edition 4th (of July, we assume) badge coming at the end of June or early July. It features characters from Crazy Cakes, so the challenge will probably be for that game. More details as we get them (of course).

Ali Baba Slots is scheduled to be released tomorrow (and it will replace the old version), but don’t go activating your older badges just yet! From a recent missive from Pogo:

“As part of the replacement of the old version of Ali Baba Slots, there will be an issue with the Magic Lamp, Treasure Trove, and Magic Carpet badge challenges. The issue will be addressed on June 3, so please don’t activate those challenges until then. If you do, you will not be able to make progress until June 3. After June 3, the challenges will work normally.”

Pogo’s working on a new game called Jigsaw Treasure Hunter. It’ll have five themes: Jungle, Seasons, Up There, Out There, and Living. The game will have 50 ranks and 5 badges (probably at ranks 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50) and it will be similar to Jigsaw Detective; you’ll be able to choose your difficulty level, use a magnet to gather up the pieces, get five hints, and preview your puzzle as you’re solving it. You can also play in one of two modes: adventure mode or normal mode.

Pogo’s artists have created five badges for the upcoming Hasbro Scrabble game. The badges are fairly plain — just a Scrabble logo with a couple of tiles on a red background — and the five badges only differ in which number is in the lower right corner (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5); so these might just be placeholder badges. (If they aren’t, we aren’t holding out much hope for this game’s graphics. Sad indeed.)

We’re not quite sure what they are for yet, but here they are:

They’re definitely part of a set, so they’re probably for a new game in the works. This theme doesn’t seem to match any of the Hasbro games on our radar, so we’ll be sure to tell you as soon as we get a working title and some idea of what kind of game it will be!

Here are three additional unreleased Mix-n-Match badges slated for future months. Most likely these are for Word Whomp (maybe Whackdown), Pop Fu, and First Class Solitaire (maybe).

Here’s a sneak peek at the game board for Team Bingo. As you’ll notice, it’s definitely nature-themed. There is also something in the game called a “Wild Daub”.
