Today, a month and ten days after we first mentioned its development, we bring you some more news of Tri-Peaks Solitaire Deluxe. This new downloadable/to-go game will have two modes: classic mode (the game we all know and love) and a reverse-type mode where you work from the peaks downward.

coming soon/rumors
At the end of November we reported that there was a possibility that Word Riot may be coming back. Well, it is, and it’ll be in the form of Word Riot Deluxe. We’ve seen mini outfits (described earlier) and mini backgrounds so far. There will be six badges, ranks, and 3 different modes: Classic, Rally, and Advanced.
As far as KenoPop! goes, a little more information has come out since we originally mentioned it. We know the game will have a shared bonus (500 tokens) and we’ve put up a page with the KenoPop! rules and pay tables for anyone interested.
Have you ever played Golf Solitaire? Traditional Golf Solitaire is played a lot like Tri-Peaks Solitaire, so now that we know Pogo is creating their own version of the game, we’re anxiously awaiting its arrival. We’re sure Pogo will have their own fun twist on the game. There will be at least 22 ranks and 6 badges (at ranks 2, 4, 6, 15, and 20 and maybe 22), and the badges and graphics for this game look really, really great with a “cartoonish” feel.
We recently saw 15 mini costumes and a game show-style background. The costumes are a shivering ice block, a garbage can, a robot, a taco, a chicken, a banana, a mailbox, a lobster, a cheese wedge, a dolphin (or whale?), a pickle, a mobile phone, three blocks (a magic trick?), a triple-scoop ice cream cone, and a carton of milk. Our source also said that the address (url) they found the costumes at hints at these mini items being for… (everyone, take your seats now so you don’t fall over…) Word Riot To Go or Word Riot Deluxe. If you don’t remember Word Riot, here’s a bunch of memories — it was very, very competitive and often turned ugly. If Word Riot is coming back in any form, we’re all in for quite a rollercoaster ride!
Those five badges we saw a week ago were for Keno afterall! They’re going to be part of “Speed Keno”, which will have 50 ranks and 5 badges. We aren’t sure yet if this will replace the existing Keno (which is currently available to non-Club Pogo members) or if it’ll be an addition, or if it’ll be a replacement available to both paid and non-paid members of Pogo. Badges will be at ranks 10 (Big Baller Badge), 20 (Big Popper Badge), 30 (Keno Supremo Badge), 40 (Keno-It-All! Badge), and 50 (Super Baller Badge).
Did you notice in the Behind the Scenes interview with Ira F. that a new Mahjong-type game was mentioned? When asked “Can you give us a hint about your next game?” he replied, “I can tell you that it might rhyme with the word ‘Bahjong.’ And it won’t be exactly like the typical game - it will have a twist to make it unique (and hopefully more fun.)” Well, we certainly hope it’ll be more unique, because we think three Mahjong-type games are already enough — a fourth had better be unique!
We just heard that there will be a “special” badge in the new Super Dominoes game for earning 100+ points in a single move. It’s called “Super Dominoes Club 100″.
