From the monthly archives:
Pogo’s spreading the word about the great features of Club Pogo and now you can earn 10,000 free tokens when you complete the puzzle they posted today.
Pogo UK players: you can earn 10,000 free tokens when you complete the puzzle, too. (And who are we to say what country site you can play in?)
Today, partial rules for Golf Solitaire were leaked onto the internet. We’ve posted them here added them to the sidebar of our site for you to peruse while you anxiously await one of Pogo’s next releases.
As expected, this game will play much like Tri-Peaks Solitaire. However, there is the addition of ‘Hazard cards’ (like in Thousand Island Solitaire and Dice Derby), play against the other people in your room, and ‘par’-based scoring. In addition, the rules tell us that it will be a game available to non-Club members as well.
Update: We found the rest of the rules, so we posted the complete text this evening. And with that, this bit of information (among so much more): “There are 40 ranks in all, and you get badges at ranks 5, 10, 20, 30, and 40.” Knowing that we’d seen 6 badges earlier, we assume there will be a ’special’ badge with this game as well.

Not that we needed any more confirmation, but in today’s Pogo News, the Pogo staff ‘officially’ confirmed the upcoming release of Word Riot Deluxe. Behold:
“That’s right– Word Riot is coming back as a Deluxe game! Fans of the original will be delighted to know that we’ve addressed many of the concerns from the original, and we’ve added tons of incredibly fun features– including ranks, winnable Mini items, different game modes, and all sorts of other cool new things!”
Word Riot fans, rejoice! But don’t hold your breath and expect a quick release, because while only Pogo knows when a game will be released, it could take a while longer due to testing and development issues.
The next set of Mix-n-Match badges are expiring on January 15. Be sure to visit the Pogo Store and pick up any “expiring soon” badges you want to take a crack at before they are gone forever.
Today brings several new items to the Mini Mall: a couple costumes and backgrounds and a few goodies to dress up your mini. Be sure to take a look at what’s new and buy the items you want before they sell out.
We just saw the six new badges for the upcoming Word Riot Deluxe and they are great! They’ve got a game show theme, and all of the characters are in the same mini costumes that you can win as you progress in ranks. (Here’s a secret: the lobster wins the game!)
While we’re on the subject of Word Riot Deluxe, we created a page (placeholder, perhaps) for the rules of the game that we found recently.
