It’s been a while since we’ve had anything of substance to report about the two new versions of Dominoes that are coming soon. Here’s a recap of everything we know so far.
One version will be for Club Members — called Super Domino (not Super Dominoes?) — and another version will be for non-Club members, called Dominoes 2. Both versions will each have 5 badges and 50 ranks that Club Members can obtain. For both games, badges will be awarded at ranks 10 (win 100 games), 20 (win 250 games), 30 (win 450 games), 40 (win 700 games), and 50 (win 1500 games).
The badges and chat icons themselves are bone-themed. The names of each badge are themed, too: Chicken Bone, Bone Picker, Bone Dry, Bone Anatomy, and Big Bone Daddy for Super Domino; Play it to the Bone, Give a Dog a Bone, Funny Bone, Bone Pile, and Roll Dem Bones for Dominoes 2.
Also, you’ll be able to choose the color of your dominoes, choose between pips (dots) and large numbers, and for those of you who hate how small the dominoes get when the track runs out of space, these new versions will have enlarged playing fields that you can slide around.

Is ranking up in Spooky Slots driving you insane? Do you have nearly 2000 spins and only 2 pumpkins lit? Have you spent hours and hours playing and not seen many Jack-o-Lanterns? Well, your frustrations are going to be relieved soon. Pogo has stated that they’re going to be “making adjustments to the frequency of the story bonus on Tuesday of next week.” In the meantime, you should check out the fun to be had at Pogo.com’s Halloween Central.

Well, it may not be released this week, but Pogo’s latest news is that Thousand Island Solitaire is almost ready. From their web site:
Thousand Island Solitaire is card-playing adventure on the high seas! Navigate ocean hazards on five different maps, discover unique islands and plunder token-filled treasure chests.
The game will have a how-to-play tutorial to help you get started. It’s almost ready to set sail…
Also, some other sites are referring to this game as Treasure Island Solitaire — we assure you, that is not its correct title. It is most definitely Thousand Island Solitaire.

Pogo wants us all to de-stress with Dr. Kathleen Hall, author of Alter Your Life. Every Friday evening this month, Pogo will offer special game nights to remind you to Take 5 to Play. When you play the specific game you’ll be entered to win $100 cash for relaxation treatments or an autographed copy of Dr. Kathleen’s book. In addition, there have been some images leaked of zen-like/spa retreat mini items — perhaps these items will be offered in conjunction with this promotion.

Pogo.com has a page up with some information about Thousand Island Solitaire, which includes a description and a screenshot along with the requisite marketing text. We’re pretty sure that this game, along with Spooky Slots, will be released next week and this week, however with respect to Pogo and their release dates, you know our guess is as good as yours!
