I love all the word games on Pogo, but I have a very hard time with this particular game. I know how to pause the game, but I don’t know how to type/click words with those “dividers” in the way, which do not let me enter more words. Could someone please help me? Thank you.

I’m not sure what “dividers” mean. The letters have to be touching, is that the problem?

Caren, thank you for replying. Maybe I didn’t use the right word, but I don’t know how to describe those “brown things” like stakes or whatever that separates the words when you attempt the puzzle. In Word Whomp they’re mixed up, but here because of those “things” I cannot proceed. I try typing, but it doesn’t enter more than 1 or 2 letters if the obstruction is in the way. I know I’m sounding “weird”, but I really don’t understand HOW to complete the puzzle even if I know all the words.

I still don’t know what you mean. The only stakes I see are what the blank words are sitting on. If you want we can meet in a room and I can help you there. I’m on a lot. caren188pogo.

I think I might know what you mean. As you type the letters it draws the lines connecting the letters showing the path your word is taking. If there are duplicate letters there will be extra lines because the word can go either way.

    In the example board:

    D T
    S E E
    N S

If you type TE it will draw lines from T to the E in the middle and also from the T to the right E. Then when you type N, there will just be the lines from T to middle E to N. It is showing you the path your word is taking. In the example, you can type TENS because they are all connected but not SETS, because the S isn’t touching the T.

It is sort of like Tumble Bees except each letter has to be touching the previous letter, not any of the letters.

    I hope this helps.

I too am not sure what you mean, but it occurred to me that you might be trying to use a letter more than once in a word which is not allowed. If these answers are not helping you, maybe you can be more clear on where these “stakes/dividers” appear. on the letters? in the space above, where your typed/clicked letters appear?

I think the problem is that you’re playing Word Whomp Whackdown like Word Whomp when the game is almost exactly like BOGGLE. You can’t type the next letter unless it’s next to the last one you typed and not been used before.

    I hope this helps,

Yes that is fine. It is really not that difficult, once you understand. During the week I’m on at night Eastern time.
