I have been having difficulty for awhile, Some days it took me a 1/2 hour of trying to get a game to load. Today nothing is working. :( Java is up to date.

No problem here, using IE 10 and Windows 7.

Sorry that you are. What browser are you using? I’ve heard that FF is blocking java again.

I have Win 7 and for security reasons everything else is current….IE11 and Java. I uninstalled and reinstalled Java and I tried 3 different browsers.

I’ve also heard there is a problem with IE 11, that is why I’m using IE 10. Most know that I do all updates immediately, but chose not to update Internet Explorer b/c of what I was hearing. IE 11 was released to work with Windows 8 and doesn’t play well with some of the other operating systems.

Have you tried using another browser? I use nothing but IE, but lots have had been success on Pogo with different ones.

This is from the Pogo forums and was originally for free members, but could be affecting Club Pogo members at this point…..

[Loading Issues] Free Pogo account on Windows 7 and IE 11

    Postby Pogo_Cactuar » January 2nd, 2014, 4:36 pm

Our team is aware of loading issues preventing Free Pogo members from being able to load specific games while using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11. You may see the chat box and the friend’s bar appear on top of the game, blocking your ability to play the game. Our team is currently looking into the cause for this issue so a solution can be released.

Until this issue is resolved we recommend the following:

    1) Revert back to an older version of Internet Explorer. For steps on how to do so, please follow them below. Click on the tools icon in IE (top right on your page, next to the star icon). Click on About Internet Explorer. It will show what version you have. Uncheck the Install new versions automatically box and Close. If you have IE 11 do the following:

Go to Start > type View installed updates in the Search box. Click on View installed updates.

There will be a ton of stuff under Microsoft Windows, so you can make it easier by typing Internet Explorer in the “Search installed Updates” box. If you click on the listing for IE11, it will give you the option to uninstall – do so. Be aware that it will take a little time and will require you to reboot your computer when you’re finished. When you restart, you will be back to Internet Explorer 10 or 9. Try the games with IE 10. See if they work. If they don’t just follow these instructions again to go back to IE 9.

    2) Try a different web browser, such as Google Chrome or Firefox.

I am not a free member but I assume we members are having the same problem. Yet again this is a Pogo problem. I never had problems before recently with IE11. Their suggestion for trying a different browser doesn’t remedy the situation as I have tried IE, FF and Chrome. Thank you Moms for the input.

I am a paid member, and I cannot load ANY popup Java games in any browser using Windows 7. It’s likely a Pogo issue, or possibly Java. Not too worried, I have every weekly so as new ones arise I can always get them done later using a Personal Badge selection. Still- it’s pretty annoying.
