I just read the article Lura posted and since I have a Live Chat issue, followed the directions. THERE IS NO LIVE CHAT! It says no game advisor available…only email and phone. Is this the beginning of the end? Has anyone else experienced this?

    yes i tried the live chat ,,, i getting some errors…. i can reach live chat at alll
    pogo needs to get errors fixed before releasing their new stuff and software

    Live chat has never been available 24/7. I would just try again later.

    TY Kath…I so agree with you. GL!

    Moms: I’ve always managed to reach Live Chat during the day. After all Pogo is based in CA and are three hours behind us,. I’ve never tried late at night, so maybe that’s when they’re not on, but this is a FIRST! Have to agree with Kath, they need to get the kinks out before they make any changes.

    I have tried live chat & nothing ! I have never had trouble getting to them during the day time hours !!
    I guess they did this so they would not be bothered by the custumers ! That is how I am seeing this !!

    Punky, that was my first thought: Great, now we have no help! Just doesn’t seem right to leave us in the lurch like this! Now even if all hell breaks loose on Wednesdays, there is no one to FIX anything! That is IF this is only temporary and not a permanent feature.

    hi i am back… i email pogo through new system ….. and asked about the live chat icon…… and got a email pogo will contact me .. i let you know what i found out….

    I am having the same problem, no live chat. Now EA will be swamped with emails and phone calls and then that will get too much to handle and they’ll take away that too. I think you’re right Punky….they do not want to be bothered by the customers!

    Mine is now loading a different page from the one shown on BH homepage. Looks more Pogo related. Hopefully, it was a first day glitch and you are able to get in now.

    Wow lots of responses! Brenda I started this topic 2 hours ago. I just read your comment and went back to try again. I’m getting the same page I did with only 2 options CALL ME or EMAIL ME. No live chat. Could you please be more specific about the page you found and how you went about doing it? I went through the HELP link on my home page. Thanks so much.

    Depending on what game you pick in the drop down menu determines what options you get. I just tried the new system and my options changed everytime I changed the game I was having a problem with.

    Yahtzee gave me the option of a phone call or email.

    Daily Hot Shots only gave me the email option.

    I have a sinking feeling this is goodbye to Live Chat as we used to know it. I notice from your response Moms that you too did not get the Live Chat option. Well…Pogo could have made an announcement to that effect on the Pogo News page. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see what develops!

    Cheryl, I’m afraid I can’t be more helpful because now mine is back to opening the same page as shown on BH.
    I had gone through Pogo Help tab when I got the other page earlier.
    Question:
    Do you not see the “Talk to a game advisor” in blue letters on right side of that page and if so, did you try it?

    You have to be logged in also.

    Otherwise, I still hope it’s a first day glitch & we’ll all get there, eventually.

    I have to start dinner & will be off til this evening, so I’ll check back later.

    OMG THIS IS SO WEIRD! I needed live help so went to the Help link on my home page. I typed in Pogo and then it took me to a page where it said:

    DEAD END!!! DON’T KNOW HOW YOU GOT HERE BUT THIS ISN’T EVEN A PAGE!!!

    Below that was a message to go back to where I came from and try again. It had EA info on left and Login/Logout features on right. What in the heck is going on? Does EA think this is Madden with game consoles????????

    Mom did you ever get the Live Chat option to come up? Oh BTW, I have never had a problem reaching Live Chat during the day OR night! I tried calling Pogo and was put on hold listening to this horrible *head banging* music! It stated like it always did before that we could get help by going to *help.pogo.com/chat* and I tried that and went to a *dead end* page! I waited on hold and it said the longest wait time was over 20 mins. I went way past that and finally hung up. What a HUGE mess this is!

    Lura, in option #2 What Game are You Playing? you said we could type the name of our topic and I don’t see a way to type anything in. It would only allow me to choose a game from the drop down list and my problem isn’t game related. Grrrrrr What a big mess! Pogo you’ve really outdone yourselves this time!!

    Justa – I did not go thru every game to see if I would get the live chat option. I only did the first 10 or so, and each time I changed the game my options changed.

    JustaGame: you can type it in #1, not #2. I really should proof read my edits better. :)

    This new help system is clearly still working out the kinks. It doesn’t mean the sky is falling, though. Give it some time, it *is* Pogo after all. :P

    Brenda, you HAVE to click the link to Talk To An Advisor. That’s when it brings up the drop down menus and follow up. But the end result was just Email or Phone. Hopefully like Lura has suggested, we just wait it out and all will be good as new!!! LOL. This is Pogo we’re talking about…doesn’t hurt to be optimistic though ::)

    Lura, my problem is with my mini and when I tried to type that in the 1st box it comes back with an error saying *there are no products found with pogo mini*, it only has 4 choices and I can’t find any way to inquire about mini related problems. I guess I’ll have to wait and see how it plays out. o_0

    JustaGame: just type Pogo in the first field and pick anything for the next. As I said, it’s not your fault their system isn’t easy to use. You still have every right to get answers.

    Just to offer a bit of advice here, I also could not seem to get the Live Chat option and had to resort to email. But, if your question is not game specific (like mine wasn’t), search through the list a bit and you’ll find the option “Pogo”. I assume this is somewhat like the “none game specific” option we used to have.

    It takes some searching to find it because the dumb list isn’t even in alphabetical order, but it might help.

    Sorry I have nothing better to add at this point. We can only hope it will get better…sooner than later :|
    Maybe we should ALL write to the editor & at the same time ask again where our Computer Lab backgrounds are that we won in DHS in AUGUST!!!

    Brenda….Funny you mentioned that :) When I was trying out the new “help” section that is exactly what I asked about. It’s been over 2 months now. I can’t believe they haven’t been able to give us what we won 10 weeks ago.
    I will probably never use the background, but I won it, and I want it….LOL

    hi all i received a email regarding the live chat… they said it should be working today… she also told to let her know of the errors i been getting
    on the help site…..my errors are in window explorers…resetting the windows
    dead end etc.. .i have not tried live chat… i hope it is working now…
    i know its frustrusting to us as customers and the employeess.,,,
    have a great day,,, i will try live chat and let you know if i can get it

    Moms…did you go through Live Chat to get your BG? i STILL haven’t been able to access it. Sent them an email. Hopefully they WILL fix it!!

    Cheryl – No, live chat was not an option for a question about Daily Hot Shots. The only option was email. I emailed them and 12 hours later had the background added to both accounts.

    Whoopie, Moms the bg is in my 2nd accts closet :)
    I didn’t win it on 1st acct, actually don’t even remember if I entered on that one…lol…it has been 2 1/2 months, after all.
    Thanks for letting us know 8-)

    As for new help feature, seems as if we may get better service this way?
