I finished a MNM album a few days ago. Did not get the pop up or completion badge, only badge for last challenge completed. The 1st live chat guy told me it should come up automatically and did not give me the badge. The 2nd guy told me he could not access badges from the data base, then said he gave me one and there was nothing in my SE album. The 3rd gal told me that due to system restraints they cannot manually add the badge and I would get it when the issue was resolved. She abruptly ended chat and there was no survey…not just from her, but all three of them. How can I report these people? Will email help? TY for suggestions.

    Once your help ticket is closed, you’ll receive an email asking you to fill out a survey. It doesn’t happen immediately, from my experience.

    When I completed M&M Album #37 on 2/15 I did not get a pop up, but the badge did appear in my Special Edition Album.

    If you do not get a survey I would go back into “help” and do it by email, not live chat. That way they have to set up a ticket.

    OMG, it really is the luck of the draw lately with Pogo when it comes to live chat agents and what they will actually take the time (or NOT) to do when we contact them!
    Jackie, I am really so sorry for the way you were treated in this manner, not once, not twice, but 3 TIMES! I had the same issue last week and was given the completion badge, no hassles AND the 5000 tokens for completing the album. Mind you, it still says 19/20 and not showing as completed, but I did get my badge and that’s what I went to CS for. But I have to say that I too have had my share of what seems like either non-caring or under trained agents.
    Lura, there have been times when not only did I NOT get an email from them but also times when there was NOT a link to the survey. I can’t say for sure that it was intentional, but it seems to never happen when I have good results regarding the issue I went to them for. Now, whenever I need to contact CS through live chat, I always write down the agents name, time & date if I felt that I wasn’t treated fairly or was given poor service. Then if I feel the need to pursue it and file a complaint through email I have the info that I need. Plus, there is always the option to make screen shots of the conversation after the chat has ended and before I close out the chat box.

    Thank you all for the replies. There’s more. The last album I completed for some reason had a Completed sticker when I was halfway through the album. I wanted to make sure I completed it, so I would not have “amnesia” from looking at the sticker on the album. Well…one of them was seeing that I guess and therefore told me I should automatically have gotten the badge upon completion. The other one said that 2 albums (17/20, 18/20) are not even showing in my record. The third one told me I should not have bought badge bundles! Whatever the reason, I’m three badges short – 2 with incorrect totals on the cover and no completed sticker and one with a Completed sticker but no badge or tokens. And then we wonder why Pogo is so messed up?

    Jackie….

    The albums with the incorrect totals were caused by a totally different problem than not getting a completion badge on the albums that contained a flash-in-a-box game. They just happened to start around the same time.

    Pogo has fixed getting the completion badge on albums, unless you are also having the other problem, showing the incorrect number of completed challenges.

    Club Pogo members that purchased the bundles and already had 1 (or more) of the badges are the ones having a problem with the incorrect numbers on their albums. Pogo has not fixed this problem yet. And since people used a work around to purchase these bundles Pogo is in no hurry to find a fix….their words, not mine.

    I know that it would drive me crazy, so hope they fix it for you, and everyone else, soon.

    Moms…..I bought 2 of the bundles with no problem. The one other badge I wanted from the Word Games bundle wouldn’t come up for me, no matter what strategy I tried (workaround). I had to go to Live Chat and the agent there manually inserted the badge and charged me 12 gems or something like that. That badge was all I got from one bundle and it was done through Pogo, so I really don’t see HOW it could have caused this mess up with my albums! It has just become very convenient for Pogo to blame it on SMART users, instead of taking blame for presenting us with system codes that even a 2 year old could break or work around! Add to that the fact that some are getting badges through Live Chat and others are being told they cannot do so. We wanted Live Chat back…we got it….except STUPIDER and MORE INEFFICIENT than ever!

    There were many that got the badges, and some bundles, thru Pogo’s customer experience (what an experience) reps, so they actually caused the problem. They owned up to that fact months ago in a Letter to the Editor. Their excuse was that members “forced” them to let them buy them….always an excuse when dealing with CS.

    I am very lucky in the fact that I was a member when they first came out with the M&M badges in Nov 2006 so didn’t have to even think about getting those bundles……cause I would be a raving maniac if my album numbers were not correct. I’m already a little crazy, that would just send me over the edge :)

    Pogo needs to get this crap fixed for everyone. It’s a disgrace that it’s taking this long.

    I’m sorry, MomsBassetHound, but I have to disagree that the purchase of Badge Bundles using a workaround created this mess…maybe it did or didn’t, I don’t know….It may be one of the causes for some…HOWEVER…I have 4 albums with incorrect totals and I DID NOT purchase any of the 3 bundles I bought using any workaround. There were 2-3 other bundles that I owned at least a badge in but I did not purchase those. The only 3 I purchased were ones that I did not own any of the badges in already therefore I used no workaround whatsoever and my totals are messed up. So I purchased them as they were intended, as offered by Pogo, and beginning with the album that the first bundle is in is where my album totals go wrong. I did nothing to create the mess my albums are in except legitimately purchase 3 of the Bundles Pogo offered because I was not able to get the badges the first time they were offered so took the opportunity to purchase them as offered by Pogo through the Bundles Once I noticed the totals not being correct, I purposely left badges undone in each of the 4 albums so they would not be completed waiting to see if Pogo will correct the totals, and yes, I did send an email notifying them, (got the response that they are working on it along with a percent off discount for Origin which was worthless to me) so am still waiting. But in the meantime, while waiting, I have purchased no more M&M badges because if they have no intention of fixing it using the excuse of blaming people who used a workaround then where does that leave me and others who used no workaround and did nothing to contribute to creating the mess with the albums other than purchasing Bundles offered and being heavily advertised recently by Pogo. If Pogo has no intention of fixing the incorrect totals then I have no intention of purchasing any more M&M badges because the problem created by the first album with incorrect totals affects each subsequent album and I just am not willing to continue dealing with incorrect totals from here forward (4 albums with incorrect totals is more than enough for me) because it is something I would find difficult to overlook (a little OCD there I suppose). And, yes, I know the choice to purchase or not is mine. But it is this along with the other glitches that have been going on recently with Pogo that is making it a lot easier for many to kick their addiction.

    Jen- They were Pogo’s words, not mine. I put that in one of my posts. That’s why I haven’t bought any on my 2nd account, won’t take the chance of messing up an album cause it would drive me crazy.

    Moms- Did not mean to imply they were your words, sorry if there was misunderstanding, said I disagreed with the statement you quoted that using the workaround created the mess since I did not use any workaround and still have my albums in a mess with incorrect totals….so, to put it another way… Pogo is full of it to blame the workaround when there are plenty of us who didn’t use the workaround and still have a problem with incorrect totals because we purchased what they offered with bundles and flash-in-the-box badges using legitimate purchasing procedures so there is no way they can blame using a workaround as a reason why my albums are messed up.
    And yes, highly agree, with your statement that Pogo needs to get this crap fixed and it has taken way way tooooo loooong!! And yes, agree that you should keep your 2nd account far far away from bundles until Pogo does get their act together, because it is irritating as you know what to go to my collection and see that it is still messed up especially through no fault of my own.

    Had it not been a problem I would have bought 2 of the bundles with the coupon today….1 from Holly’s account, and gifted 1 to Holly from my account.
    But I don’t dare take a chance of doing it b/c of the problems.

    It is obvious at this point that it has something to do with the way they were coded, just like the flash-in-a-box games. And there is NO reason that it should still be going on. I’m usually a rah-rah-go-Pogo member, but they are even starting to wear me down.

    Just loved today’s BIG sale for loyal members….1 badge, total of 8 gems….and that’s only if you have some you need to purchase. It doesn’t expire until the 8th, but usually not good for new releases. But I will give it a try on the 1st :)
