how does one go about getting this free game today only? every time i try to download it, theres a cost. thanks

    I got it for free. try doing it from the countdown thing! Thats how i got mine! Bout fell outta my chair this am when i say that a download was free!! lol. hope you have better luck!

    still not having any luck. even when i go to the countdown thing, it says pogo game manager has to be installed? so now the only icon i see on my computer says play pogo games? every other time i’ve purchased the downloadable games, i get the game i bought that has the game icon on my computer? can someone please tell me what i’m doing wrong? i’ve never had trouble downloading a game before. thanks

    Cricket: there’s a direct link to the download in my post. It will install the Pogo Games manager so you can access the free game.

    Be sure you are trying to download Jewel Quest 2 Trail of the Midnight Heart.

    Lura, I can’t seem to get the link you have for the game to work, get the same error as the calendar link. I had to search the downloads to find it.

    lura, the install pogo games manager is on my desktop, when i click on it, i cannot find the free game? the print is so small under jewel quest 2, i dont’ know which one to click on cause none say free on there. all my other downloadable games i bought, i have the game icon. any other suggestions please? thanks

    hi lura, well i was finally able to download the free game, ty for the help. but what i don’t understand is, why do we have to keep the play pogo game manager icon on our computer? it seems very confusing, when we click on that are we supposed to sign in with our pogo password? i went to uninstall it and it said if i did i would no longer be able to play games downloaded from pogo!! how come? i have several i paid for that are icons on my computer and all i have to do is click on the icon and play the game. very confusing. thank you again.

    Pogo’s downloads section changed last week. Everything you purchase from now on will use the Pogo Game Manager.

    Games purchased before the change will work as they always have.

    Hi Lura, I have read the above thread and tried all of your suggestions and and I still cannot get the “free” game. I am using ie 7 but I have also tried with chrome, is anyone else still having issues. I get an error message that the site cannot be accessed.

    I got the game to download and install but once I tried to play it a screen came up giving me two options to pay Pogo a monthly fee. I was brought up not to look a gift horse in the mouth but me thinks this game is a bit of a trojan horse. Lura if you don’t get some sort of pay from Pogo, you should. They put stuff out without much direction and let you explain it for them and field all the questions and complaints while they hide behind their new help feature.

    i’m so glad i wasn’t the only one with issues lura!! what i would like to know is, all the downloadable games i already have icons on my computer for, the program manager we had to download said i have to keep the program manager icon or i won’t be able to play my downloadable games i purchased? wish it was like it was before this happened, it was so much easier and less confusing!! thank you again for all your help
