I’ve been trying to get to my Pogo home page via my iPad and I keep getting the ‘oops, something is not right’ error when I click on the Pogo.com link that is shown on the iPhone landing page.
I cleared cookies and cache on my iPad and still I can’t get in.

I can get to the Pogo page with my iPod touch but my iPad gives me the error.

Could someone give me some ideas or help?
Thank you!

    Thank you Caren
That’s the exact URL that is shown in the address bar on the Safari browser on my iPad.
The tab reads Pogo:Error: Invalid URL
The actual web page says ‘Oops something is not right…
The page you requested could not be found.

I took the time to restore my WHOLE iPad back to its original settings and I still give the above error listed.
Very strange. I could get Pogo’s web page to work last week. Well bummer.

    BonBon,

I have just tried accessing Pogo.com on my iPhone and iPad, they both seem to be working fine.

Have you checked the iPad hasn’t lost connection to the WiFi or 3G services?

I hope this is some help.

    Thanks for answering Storm.
It’s not the connection cause I can get to every other webpage with no problem.

When I type in the address bar, http://www.pogo.com, using the Safari browser it automatically takes me to the iPhone landing page. That’s the page where they advertise ‘get the free Pogo app for your iPhone’
In the right hand corner is the tiny url Pogo.com> and when I touch that I get the message ‘oops something is not right’

It’s very frustrating that I can’t get any Pogo page using my iPad :-(

I just tried it on my iTouch and was able to get to Pogo.com. I clicked on the tiny URL like you said. Then I was able to log in as myself.

    Thanks Caren
I googled the error message and it said that the URL was typed incorrectly and how to fix it. The problem is when I manually typed in http://www.pogo.com to make sure I entered it correctly, it took me to that stupid iPhone landing page where I could only click the tiny URL which then give me the error message again. So until it resolves itself (which I highly doubt it will) I guess there’s no way for me to visit Pogo.com regular website on my iPad.
I hate it when the ‘machine wins’ Grrrr!!

    Try entering:

    http://www.pogo.com/iphone/landing.do?seen=true

That’s what the link goes to.

Mine doesn’t show that URL, I just saw it in the source. Mine says http://www.pogo.com/.

I didn’t even know you could clear the cache and cookies on the iPhone. What do you want to do on Pogo? Read the news? See the badges? You can’t play the games directly.

I know I can’t play the games on the iPad. I was curious to know if anyone else couldn’t go to the regular Pogo website via their iPad.

The URL works on my iPod so I just didn’t understand why it didn’t work on my iPad.

I like to look at my friends list, read the news, and change my mini. You can even buy a badge and activate it from the iPad too. So you can do just about everything on Pogo with the iPad excepts play the games.

Thanks for your response Caren, I appreciate it.

As of April 10, 2012 (after the heavy 3 hour maintenance shut-down) my iPad was able to open the Pogo webpage URL.

Not sure what they did at EA to resolve this, but it could because they added the Android app and needed to fix the Pogo link (tiny words, right hand corner) in order for both mobile devices to open the web page.
