January 7, 2014 · 46 comments

MyCokeRewardsOnce again, Club Pogo rewards are available from MyCokeRewards. In addition, new for this year, they have also added GameStop gift cards as a reward. If you’re all stocked up on Club Pogo memberships for a while you may want to save your points toward getting a GameStop gift card, which you can use to purchase an EA Card, which in turn you can exchange for 275 Gems at Pogo.

For more details on the MyCokeRewards program and the Pogo-related rewards you can get, check out the new MyCokeRewards information page here at BadgeHungry.

Thanks to everyone who wrote in about the MCR program this year!

I do not see a ea gift card there

2 pogoholic January 7, 2014 at 9:40 am

its there joe its under gift cards when you look at rewards click on gift cards.. gl everybody 1400 points that’s a lot of drinks..

3 MomsBassetHound January 7, 2014 at 9:42 am

joe #1 – They do not have EA cards. They have Club Pogo rewards for extending your club membership and Game Stop gift cards where you can buy EA cards for gems.

Also throughout the year they have gift cards available for Best Buy, Target, and WalMart where you can also get EA cards for gems. They aren’t always available, they come and go.

And if you want to save up there is a special called the 12 days of Christmas that runs from 12/1 thru 12/12 every year where you can get a $25 gift card for 600 points. It is 1 per account and they usually have Best Buy and either Target or WalMart. But you have to be around when they are released as they go fast. The release time changes every year to give people in different areas a chance at being home to get them.

The closes once i see under gift cards is game stop NO ea gift cards

5 MomsBassetHound January 7, 2014 at 9:52 am

Joe #4 – That’s what Lura said above…

you may want to save your points toward getting a GameStop gift card, which you can use to purchase an EA Card, which in turn you can exchange for 275 Gems at Pogo.

She didn’t say they had EA cards.

1425 points for a $20.00 card.

Yay!!!!!!! Pogo is back on MyCokeRewards, same cost, even better. However, saw a blog saying their weekly Wednesday deals have stopped. Not sure with that, will have to wait and see. Hope they still have some pogo deals for membership. I don’t get enough codes for the gamestop card, but free membership makes me happy.

8 bonstance41 January 7, 2014 at 11:25 am

J#7 – I got an email last week (or so) from Coke telling me that they were discontinuing the Wednesday deals. Along with it was a code for 50 points. The email stated something to the effect of “for someone who has used the Wednesday deals,” so apparently not everyone got it.

9 Bmonkeygurl244 January 7, 2014 at 11:47 am

Sooooo excited to be able to buy the gift card for free! I know that a while ago Pogo changed the account page that showed our coke rewards passes, but does anyone know how to find out how many you have credited on your account?

10 MomsBassetHound January 7, 2014 at 12:02 pm

Bmonkeygurl244 #9 – Pogo made it SO much better. If you go into your account it now tells you the date when all your rewards expire, and it changes immediately when you add another reward. It’s so much better than having to keep track yourself.

11 MomsBassetHound January 7, 2014 at 12:10 pm

J #7 – Bonnie is correct, no more Wednesday deals. Coke announced it on 12/25, the last Wed deal was on 12/18. There were emails sent to some on 12/25 with a code for 50 points that expired on 12/31 and Coke never made the exact criteria public. I got emails on my accounts, Beth got them on some of her accounts. I “think” it was a combination of how much activity and how many Wed deals you took advantage of. I did more than the Club Pogo deals.

12 kathy January 7, 2014 at 12:29 pm

hi i glad that coke rewards is back.. i redemm my points for 6 month subsubscription
i cant do game cards because i am not near a Target and not sure if my Walmart has the game stop cards… yipeee more pogo time

13 MomsBassetHound January 7, 2014 at 12:36 pm

Kathy #12 – WalMart doesn’t have the Game Stop cards, they carry the actual EA game cards that you redeem on Pogo for gems.

14 Bmonkeygurl244 January 7, 2014 at 12:38 pm

I see that now Moms thanks so much!

15 Bmonkeygurl244 January 7, 2014 at 12:55 pm

Does anyone know if the gift card can be used online? I was looking on the Game Stop site but didn’t see anything about the EA cards

16 Lura January 7, 2014 at 1:04 pm

Bmonkeygurl: GameStop doesn’t carry the EA Cards online but Best Buy does (and free shipping on 2+)! There’s a link on this page here:

17 BonBon January 7, 2014 at 1:22 pm

Yay! Best news I’ve heard all day! Especially the GameStop addition. My Pogo account is good til January 2017 and I would love to get some GameStop gift cards as well.
Thanks for the update. BadgeHungry rocks!!

18 stacy January 7, 2014 at 1:46 pm

the card for gamestop had been in rewards for at least 3 months now and you can get one a month

19 Patti7125 January 7, 2014 at 2:29 pm

Unless I build up a HUGE stockpile of points, I think I’ll keep just pushing my membership out. You can get a year membership for 800 points instead of ~$40. To get $40 worth of gems, I can’t even calculate how many points it would take, since there isn’t a $40 package of gems, but if 1425 points gets you 275 gems, that is only around $20 worth of gems, so say around 2850 points to equal a 1 year membership, in terms of total expense. Since 800 is way easier to come up with than 2850, I’ll keep buying my gems and use CR for my membership

21 LacertaCK January 7, 2014 at 2:37 pm

*Sometimes I wish we could edit

I reread my post and it sounded a little whiny. Not my intention. I’m glad there is a new option for those who want to use up some of their stockpile of points.

22 beth January 7, 2014 at 2:58 pm

#19 patti thank you so very much managed to get a couple :) thanks <3 BIG HUGS boop

23 MomsBassetHound January 7, 2014 at 2:59 pm

LacertaCK #20 – You are correct, they are expensive. But there are some, myself included, that have enough Club Pogo time to last us a lifetime. Personally I would not spend my points on them, but at the end of the year I do get the gift cards on the Christmas promotion. This year I managed to get enough gift cards to purchase 7 EA cards for just $17 out of pocket. I’ll take over 1900 gems for $17 any day :)

24 Rose January 7, 2014 at 3:19 pm

It is to bad that this is not available in Canada.Rose.

25 Rose January 7, 2014 at 3:27 pm

The coke rewards that is.

26 cutestsmilesntex January 7, 2014 at 6:33 pm

Thank you so much for the update i was wondering about them not bringing it back lol i just started the coke rewards in nov of this past year n got 6 months already trying to get me a few years ahead then work on getting so gems this site is great and very helpful love it!

27 RyzandShyn January 7, 2014 at 8:16 pm

Well, whoo-hoo, this is great news!
Thanks, Suz, for explaining about the 12 days of Christmas deal. That sounds like a terrific way to get gift cards to get EA cards to get gems.
I just found my motivation to get busy on the pile of caps I have sitting here. I wear glasses, but still need to use a magnifying glass on the caps…sigh.

28 MomsBassetHound January 7, 2014 at 8:51 pm

RyzandShyn #27- Just recently found a new trick to read the codes inside of the caps. If you can hold them up to direct light, from a window or glass door, it will become very easy to read. I had 1 where I just couldn’t understand 1 of the digits, after working on it for 10 minutes. I gave it 1 last shot by holding it by the glass door and I was amazed at how easy the entire code was to read. That’s how I did the rest of them :) Good Luck!

29 beth January 7, 2014 at 10:08 pm

#27 ryznshyn moms is so very right I like you have mostly caps cause I buy the 2 liters and even with glasses on (over counter readers lol) I still cant see the codes but like you I have a maginifer sitting right here and a lamp on the desk and I hold it up to lamp and read em thru my maginifer LOL….sad but ya do what ya have to to get those coke rewards or pogo for that matter…GL hun just hold em up to a light and they will shine and makes it so much easier to read…BIG HUGS boop

30 Grandmasad_ January 7, 2014 at 11:44 pm

I was so glad they finally got Pogo back up & working on MCR!! Only bad thing for me, I misunderstood how to use the points. I was getting 2 6-month subscriptions a year. Thought that was all I was allowed. But thanks to MomsBassetHound, I found out I could use 2 6-months, 2 3-months and 2 1-month. So in the almost couple years I’ve done this, I’ve missed out on a good 1½ years. lol But I’m thankful I found out before I lost more time. :-)

31 Kathy January 8, 2014 at 7:40 pm

I looked under gift cards and it wasn’t there.

32 Jacob January 8, 2014 at 8:38 pm

Why am I not seeing the Gamestop card on MCR? Where is it?

33 MomsBassetHound January 8, 2014 at 8:51 pm

Jacob #32 – It’s probably out of stock at the moment. Gift cards come and go all year round on MCR. You will just have to monitor the site for when they return.

34 Justagramma January 8, 2014 at 11:33 pm

I agree Rose #24, so sad nothing like this is available here in Canada.

35 Holly January 9, 2014 at 4:09 pm

Looks like the GameStop card is gone. I saw it in the rewards a few days ago before they added the Club Pogo subscriptions. It was priced around 1450 points. Seems to be gone now. I hope they restock because I could use some of those cards!

36 RyzandShyn January 9, 2014 at 8:27 pm

Thanks, Suz and Beth #27 & #28 for the hints on reading the caps. I buy the 12 packs for home or the 24s when there’s a deal, and those are easy enough. But, I have a huge pile of caps from lunching co-workers and my waiter son’s restaurant just sitting here waiting for me to enter. I’m on it now. Thanks again :)

37 Postys January 10, 2014 at 6:33 pm

I just went to MCR typed in gamestop and a $20 gift card came up for 1425 points

38 Postys January 10, 2014 at 6:34 pm

Sorry, guess it’s an Egift card not an EA one

39 MomsBassetHound January 10, 2014 at 6:37 pm

Postys #38 – That’s the correct card. You redeem that at Game Stop for the EA game card.

40 linda013148 January 10, 2014 at 8:39 pm

I got 20 months for my coke rewards. Two six months memberships, two three months memberships and two one month memberships. This takes me until November 2016. Saving for Game stops cards now.

41 Sabrina January 12, 2014 at 9:26 pm

I use a flashlight under the lids from my 2 Liter bottles to help read the codes. It works great.

42 Holly January 22, 2014 at 4:12 pm

The Gamestop card still isn’t showing up for me. Are they just going out of stock really fast or have they pulled them?

43 MomsBassetHound January 22, 2014 at 4:30 pm

Holly #42 – They just go really fast. They were restocked but sold out really fast. You just have to keep checking the site for when they are restocked again.

44 Janice February 14, 2014 at 3:42 pm

I cannot find a GameStop offer at MyCokeRewards that is like this. Perhaps it was only for a short time period.
The only GameStop card offered is a contest.

45 MomsBassetHound February 14, 2014 at 3:44 pm

Janice #44 – They go fast, but according to their FB page the reward will be back. You need to check daily so you don’t miss it when it’s available.

46 JustaGame March 6, 2014 at 6:50 pm

I just found the Game Stop gift cards on sale again! They are going for 1425 points! If you are interested you might want to hurry, as I hear they go fast! :)
