I’m not sure what bonus words are, I thought they were the yellow words. I got 4/6 the first game and got the badge in 2 games.
Easy enough…
I played on easy skill level. I didn’t noticed before now, but you seem to get 2 golden words to find… so it only took 3 games.
Plus the badge actually popped up this week!

Yeah, I got 1/6 on first game, then 4/6 on second and badge popped up after the 3rd. So I’m not really sure how that worked out! :)
Yep, very easy badge this week, only took 3 games since the app version has two gold words per game.
I’m doubtful that it would happen, but with Android users being able to get app badges now it would be nice if they had a weekly personal challenge for the app so we could get the older badges. There’s several months of app badges between the start of those and when I got an iPad that I’d love to be able to go back and earn.
Got the badge on my Android, but it’s not showing in “See My Badges” on pogo’s home page as they usually do. Hmmmm
There is a small delay after the Android App loads, but then the badge appears. Good re-start… now where is our Red Balloon badge? :-D

A new badge. I will test Kindle Fire tonight, but if it takes too long to figure it out, I will use the iPad.
I received the badge on my Android device, but the badges are still not showing in my badges on pogo.com. Must be a problem with the app, since i am not the only one with this problem. Hope they get it fixed.
my badge popped up but it’s not in my pogo album on the actual website.
Is this always an issue?

Just checked Lura’s upcoming challenges, and the badges are the best, as usual. And, as usual, this week’s was easy and fun. Love the IPad!
I have the Android version and its saying no badge is available still
All day long I am going on my android phone and all I am getting when hitting the pogo app is there are no badges available at this time whats up with this and what can I do about it

@atownguy #14 – same here, no available badges. I guess Pogo is still working on this.
everyone with the Android app, if it shows no badges just wait a few minutes it should come up, or go in a game and play some then go back to the home screen, and it should be up — it seamed to come up either way for me.
and for the badges not showing in “my badges” on pogo.com – i contacted pogo support and all i got from them was that they were going to investigate my case further at a later time, i did not get any answers to when or get any of the badges i have earned on the app put into my badges.
I was lucky on 4/10/2012 and got the Word Whomp badge for my Android Phone. It didn’t show up on pogo.com though so on 4/12/2012, I went to Pogo help desk chat (even so I loathe having to go there for anything!) and spoke with someone there who placed the badge in my pogo.com account. It was added to my Special Edition badge count but doesn’t show up anywhere when I actually look at my collection thru badge central. However, if I view my badges thru my profile or the pogo.com homepage, I can see the badge and the day I “received” it in the badges there.
When last week’s challenge in Poppit! was never available for the Android, I went to Pogo Help desk chat on 4/16/2012 and had the badge “awarded” to me that way.
When I did the challenge for this week in Word Whomp on my Android phone and it again didn’t show up in my badge album, I once more when to Pogo Help desk chat. I spoke with Amit who first tried to tell me that the Android App badges would only show up on my Android and not in my pogo.com account. I corrected him and told him where they “show” up in Pogo.com and where the badge count shows up. He then went to look at my pogo account and saw I was correct about the badges placement and counts so he updated my pogo.com account with this week’s Games app badge that he could see I had won.
So, my advice to all of you is to go to Pogo Help desk chat. Click on Pogo. Then accounts/billing. Then click the button for LIVE CHAT. Once you are connected there, clearly state your pogo.com user name and that you have completed this week’s Pogo Games App for Android game in Word Whomp. List the badge like this: Game: Word Whomp; Badge Name: Gopher It Up Badge; Date offered: 4/18/2012 – 4/24/2012; and Date Won: 4/18/2012. Then ask the Help Desk personnel to please update your Pogo.com account with the badge in your Special Edition Badge Album total. And ask them to please make sure the badge shows up in your “view badges” page from your profile or the pogo.com main page.
You can also do the same for the badge for the week of 4/4/2012 – 4/10/2012 and request that they “award” you the badge for 4/11/2012 – 4/17/2012 since it was never available to play on the Android phone last week.
If you want to check that I am stating things correctly, please feel free to add me to your pogo.com friends’ list and look at my badges thru my profile. My username here is the same as on pogo.com. :)

Those of you still not seeing the app, have you logged in with your pogo name? I found that the badge doesn’t show until you log in.

Are we able to use these badges as our chat room icons on the Pogo site at all? I don’t see the 2 ww badges I have earned in my special edition album and I only log in through the UK site. If I can use the badges I will go to help and get them awarded, if I can’t use them I’ll probably not bother.

Shelly #21 .. Yes you can use the icons as your favorite badge icon in chat. I had to go into pogo support and get them issued on my account too. After 2 chat sessions they finally awarded me the badges. I don’t know if they will show in the Special Edition album but if you click “See My Badges” on the home page, they should be in there, if not you will have to contact support to get them.
It did finally come up for me but I have never received either WW badges. How do we contact help now? And where is Pogo Desk Chat, never heard of that. Any clues as to how to contact Pogo help? EA Help has dead links. :-\

Okay, there is no live chat option in billing. Does anyone have a link to any Pogo help at all?
Chris #26 thanks for the info. I just tried to go to help but only had the email option open to me. I’ll try again on monday morning and hope to get the live help option. Hopefully we won’t have to do this every week!
Does anyone have a link for Live Chat? I have asked in here, on Pogo Forums, tried to navigate through EA Games, etc. Where did Pogo support go? I also emailed them. No response. There is no live chat under billing that I can find. Thanks if anyone can help.
synthsnake: you don’t have to choose Billing.. just choose whatever will make Live Chat available. Here are the instructions:

If live chat never becomes available, that means there are no live chat representatives working at the time, just choose email. They’ll get back to you within 24 hours.
Lura I have gone there, there is no way to log in. The “log in” link doesn’t respond at all. :(

As a follow up to my previous posts….
I usually use the UK site but couldn’t get live chat to come up in the help section no matter what I chose (mid morning on Monday) so I logged into the US site and got live chat immediately. Amit asked what the badges were called and awarded all 3 of them to my account. They show up in both my Special Edition badge album and when I click on ‘see my badges’ on the homepage.
In the chat rooms the icon doesn’t show up completely, you just see a part of it but at least they are useable.
I asked if Android users were going to have to ask to have the badges added manually each week or if the glitch/problem would soon be fixed and was given an email address to send comments to so I’m still no wiser on that one…lol
