Pogo Subscriptions Available from MyCokeRewards

February 10, 2011 · 44 comments

MyCokeRewardsMyCokeRewards is once again offering Club Pogo subscriptions in exchange for your Coke rewards points. (How does it work?) There are three subscriptions available:

* Club Pogo™ 1-Month Subscription for 75 Points
* Club Pogo™ 3-Month Subscription for 200 Points
* Club Pogo™ 12-Month Subscription for 570 Points

To get started, visit MyCokeRewards.com and search for Pogo. You can only “purchase” two subscriptions of each type per MyCokeRewards account and you must redeem the codes by 01/31/12.

Update: See comment #40 for details on the new 2 per account per year limitation Pogo has put on the rewards.

This is great news, I think. I’m hoping that even though I bought 2 of the one year subscriptions last year with coke reward points, I can buy 2 more of the one year subscriptions this year as they hopefully don’t count towards the limit of 2 per account. When I get home later, I’m going to attempt to purchase a 1 month subscription to test out my theory (as I also bought 2 of the 1 month subs last ‘year’ too with coke reward points) to see if it works. Will post my findings a little later…..

3 MomsBassetHound February 10, 2011 at 12:46 pm

Kali #2 – You can get 2 more….Pogo has no limit…..my 1 acct is paid thru 2019 with Coke Rewards and my 2nd is paid thru 2015.

Anyone that thinks they will be able to save enough points for more than 2 annual rewards should open another Coke Reward account. You will need to put it in another name….husband, wife, child, dog :)

Here is the official info from the Coke Rewards site…..

How to Create Your My Coke Rewards Account: Once on the Website, individuals who do not already have an existing account on another Coca-Cola website or My Coke Rewards account, can click on the “Register Now” link and follow the instructions to create an Account. An individual must have a unique valid e-mail address to create an account. Limit 1 Account per person, 5 Accounts per household and 10 Accounts per physical address. The person who is the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address indicated when registering must provide date of birth information when registering for an Account and will be deemed the Enrollee.

Hi All, Remember to look under the caps of bottles for the Coke Rewards Points, they are worth 3 pts., you might see these anywhere. Pick them up and help with recycling and get points.
I find the codes on the bottles hard to read. I take a flashlight and hold it under the cap. I find the caps easier to read that way.
Good Luck All,

#3 Suz – Thank you, that is what I figured. I just bought the 1 month though to check it out (yes, I’m crazy) and it worked. Yay, give me another 6-7 months and I’ll have purchased another 32 months (12+12+3+3+1+1) of club pogo time! =)

7 jtreegirl February 10, 2011 at 2:28 pm

This is AWESOME news!!!! I saw that Pogo was not in the catalog anymore a week ago and I’m so glad that it’s back!!! woot!!!

Suz –

Will Coke Rewards give you an error message if you try to turn in points for a third subscription offer? I have turned in 2 – 12 month and 1 – 3 month on the same account without any issues. Since I’m close to another 12 month, I’m wondering how I can tell if it won’t let me turn in for it since it will be my 3rd.

8 MomsBassetHound February 10, 2011 at 2:42 pm

jtreegirl #7 – This is considered a “new” reward and you will be able to redeem 2 of each of the 3 Club Pogo rewards between now and the end of December. Any rewards that you redeemed prior to today do not count since that was on an “old” reward.

And Pogo has no limit on how many you apply to an account….or they would have cut me off a long time ago….LOL

That’s good to hear Moms

10 Jess February 10, 2011 at 3:54 pm

@John5 (#5) – There’s a little plastic disc in the cap. If you reach in and remove the disc (it comes out pretty easily) the code is MUCH easier to read! Hope this helps…

11 eagles227_98 February 10, 2011 at 4:44 pm

Love the coke rewards. I get my coke/sprites by the case. You get 20 points per case and the “code” is on the inside of the cardboard case. They add up fast. I use them for me and my brothers pogo accounts and so far we are both good till 2014. My neighbor gives me all their reward points and they live on coke/sprite. I don’t waste my points on the 1 month & 3 month. Save them for the 1 year, it is your best deal!! I know it is hard not to try it the first time you get enough points, but make the points “work for you”, not you work for the points. GL to all. Thanks Moms(suz). Love & Prayers to all.

12 spliff February 10, 2011 at 6:12 pm

such a crying shame this promo is no good to the uk player

13 KillrToaster February 10, 2011 at 6:15 pm

What a relief to see that my coke rewards points can be used for pogo. We go through at least 3 flats of Diet Coke a month. Now I can make one habit pay for another! I only just heard about BadgeHungry a few months ago, and it has drastically improved my pogo experience. Thank you to Lura and all who post here! y–

14 eagles227_98 February 10, 2011 at 7:09 pm

AMEN #13(KillrToaster)–When I heard about BH over a year ago i was thrilled and visit here OFTEN. Lura does do one hell of a fantastic job!!! I loved your comment of having one habit pay for another. VERY GOOD!! There are MANY great people here on BH and they will help you as best they can. If I can ever help, look me up. Welcome to the BH Club!!

15 turnupbaby February 10, 2011 at 8:45 pm

Wish the coke rewards were available in Canada. Perhaps pogo should look at some sort of promo/discount for canadians and the UK??

16 beth February 11, 2011 at 7:44 am

hint hint hint***** seen it in the threads here some where so you may have to search a lil but it has been in the last week but for those of you like spliff (alan) in the uk and post #15 turnupbaby in canada, some one gave the tip to use st louis mo and even gave the zip and suggested it was a good place to call “HOME” (catch my drift) just for such things as the coke or different promo’s of the such, so maybe seach thru all this weeks threads reading closely and write it down and save on sticky note or some where for future use

17 nightcop14 February 11, 2011 at 8:38 am

Thanks for the good news about coke rewards. I know last year we did a few of the subscriptions. I will continue to purchase them, as it saves quite a bit of money on the subscriptions. Question though. When I look at my Pogo account, how can I tell how far I have “paid” up unto? That would help me out bunches.

18 MomsBassetHound February 11, 2011 at 10:09 am

nightcop #17 – Everytime I redeem a reward and add it to my acct I forward the email to my primary account and put the dates that the reward covers. Writing it down on a piece of paper would work at well … LOL

There is no where on Pogo that shows it. All rewards say the same thing – Cluc Pogo Membership Card – doesn’t matter if it’s from Coke or Subway. And it doesn’t matter if it’s for 1 month, 3 months, or 12 months.

19 marithoner February 11, 2011 at 10:50 am

I wrote down all the rewards from Coke and Recycle site and the dates to be covered through such rewards. Just checked my account and Pogo had recently applied one of them and my renewal date changed accordingly. They show 11 more to be applied in the future which corresponds with my notes. Not that I don’t trust Pogo …

20 lgrahamfl February 11, 2011 at 11:31 am

I just tried to redeem coke rewards and it said I had gotten the maximum allowed for that item. The last time I redeemed was Jan 8

21 Lura February 11, 2011 at 12:25 pm

I haven’t verified this but someone just wrote in with this info:

“Coke rewards. I just got off the phone with a rep with coke rewards. # 866 674-2653. You can only use the rewards twice per person per  pogo account. Max 2. It had been 2 per year, so pogo has  now  put a limit on it. Under the old plan I could have gotten another yr in April, now it looks like I can’t since I have had 2.”

22 Sal February 11, 2011 at 1:06 pm

Lura #21,
I just used 6 coke codes on one POGO account a week ago. There is a lot of confusion about POGO account vs COKE account. Also got 3 month reward 3 times on 1 COKE account. Go figure. I am glad to hear they have finally resumed the offer.

23 turnupbaby February 11, 2011 at 4:45 pm

Beth #16, I understand what you’re saying but the coke sold here does not have ‘points’ therefore we can’t collect them let alone use them. The info you gave is much appreciated though!

24 beth February 11, 2011 at 5:48 pm

post # 23 im so sorry to hear that, was just trying to be helpful and thats a shame, and now i understand what your saying, and i truly feel for you…i my self dont drink coke but the hubby does so i dont get alot of codes lol i would have him on a coke iv force fed if i could lol to get a discount on my pogo (aint that a shame lmao)…hopefully one day they will spread the love every ones way :) if i hadnt of had help i wouldnt have even made the limit of 2 for last year, those codes are like digging for “gold” very hard to come by lol….boop

25 sk8rcheer2005 February 11, 2011 at 5:56 pm

I wish that coke and pogo would let us get gems or a year subscription they both cost the same I don’t see why they don’t do that it makes sense to me but who am I…lol

26 UKpogoCokePlayer February 11, 2011 at 6:43 pm

@turnupbaby We do actually have this type of promo here in the UK. Check the net for CokeZone. It works differently though. For a small bottle you get 2 points, large bottle 3 points & multipack 5 points. You can get a years Pogo for 75 points. Don’t know if you can get multiple subsriptions or just 1 per year though. Hope that helps :)

27 Chris February 12, 2011 at 6:57 am

I really have never bothered to get into coke rewards, and never knew a thing about how the system works until my wife explained it. One question does come to mind,,,,how many reward points do you get with each item? (20oz bottle, 24 pack, 12 pack etc.)

28 beth February 12, 2011 at 8:58 am

chris post # 27 if you go to mycokerewards.com it gives you all the info on what or how many points for what type product…however i do know that a 20 oz gets you 3 points and a 2liter gets you 3 points per cap as i dont usually do the cans i have no ideal on all the other but info is on the site and also what products have the codes even desanti wate has the codes i think so visit the site its very informative…but i do know EVEY cap you get 3 points for…boop

29 luky198099 February 12, 2011 at 11:29 am

30 Ms T~ February 12, 2011 at 11:57 am

Chris #27 Chris 20oz and 1 and 2 liter Caps are 3 points, 12 pack cans are 10 and a case is 20 points and if you watch closely they will have double points days…Heres a Number if you have a problem with Coke 800.438.2653 hope this helps ya. I have three years Backed up on my account from coke points. Keep that Coke number you will need it especially if you buy magazines.

31 Chris C (asumh42095) February 12, 2011 at 5:18 pm

Re: 27 Ms. T is correct about the points. And I just purchased another year worth of pogo. With Coke and Subway I won’t have to pay a yearly fee for a long time 2016. That saves me money so I can buy gems.

32 Ms T~ February 12, 2011 at 11:32 pm

Just a tip for you all that are reading those small cap letters for Coke Rewards here is a tip that I do to see the letters better I put my lil mag flashlight to the back of the cap and it makes the letters and numbers stand out better and alot easier… when the bifocal isnt working so well or your child that has perfect vision isnt around… lmao …

Lura Dear, Get Better soon hon… your too funny to let it keep ya down WE NEED YOU HERE!!!

34 sweetlove1`23453 February 13, 2011 at 4:36 am

hey I was wondering of we get our limit, would someone be able to gift the subscription to someone or no?

35 RW February 13, 2011 at 6:52 am

There’s another Subway promotion going now where you can earn some coke points. It hasn’t happened for me yet, the prizes so far have been an entry to win footlong sandwiches for life, and a couple of prizes for a game that must be connected to Facebook. I did a search and found a whole list of free codes to try, and so far (with their daily limit of 3 codes a day), at least the first 4 on the list are valid.
It’s definitely not a sure thing for coke points but if you do win you get 30 coke rewards points.
Free codes to try at subwayfreshbuzz.com are:
* 3LK76HJF
* 43K6PNM9
* 44KLRP3
* 6LNCF76R
* 6YZ34
* 96AALE4R
* KL9E9H99
* W4LCX4V9

36 Claire February 13, 2011 at 8:49 am

Ihave just purchased a 6 month subscription for pogo uk at cokezone.
Ireceived the code via email and when I entered it pogo says its not a valid code for my account.
Do I have to let my clup pogo subscription run out before I can apply the code to my account.
Help please.

37 Chris February 14, 2011 at 8:55 am

Ty for info Ms T~ i have several 12 pks, since they were on sale this week. Gonna try to get as many as I can now….

38 Ms T~ February 14, 2011 at 1:25 pm

Yes you can gift to another person the code as the code will come to you on your coke page and then again in your email and take that code and pass it to a friend if you wish but yes you can pass it forward if you wish…and they only allow you to add 120 points a day.

39 MomsBassetHound February 14, 2011 at 2:43 pm

Actually it’s 120 points per week.

40 MomsBassetHound February 18, 2011 at 6:52 pm

I got my 570 points and tried to redeem one of the “new” 12 month Club Pogo rewards that were added to the coke site in February. It would NOT allow me to redeem the reward, said I had reached the maximum of 2 for this reward……I did redeem multiples in 2010 and 2 of them between 1/1/11 and 1/31/11.

Since I considered this a “new” reward I called coke and spoke to someone in customer service. They are saying that this is a Pogo maximum, not true as I’ve added a lot more than 2 to each of my accounts. And they are using the calendar year for redeeming the maximum of these rewards, not a year from when they were added. I will not be eligible to redeem this reward under my name until 1/1/12. I can then redeem 2 of these before they expire on 1/31/12.

But they confirmed that you can have up to 5 people in the same household have Coke Reward accounts. So I guess that Holly will be getting her own account….LOL

This is important b/c most of us that redeemed them in January thought that we would be able to redeem them again in 2011 since it was a “new” listing.

41 Lura February 18, 2011 at 6:54 pm

^^ Valuable information. Thanks!

42 snyder326 February 18, 2011 at 10:20 pm

This is my first time posting to this site. Lura, love the site, keep up the great work.

Here’s another tip for helping you to read the codes on caps. I take a sharp knife and remove the clear plastic shield over the code and the letters become much brighter to read. For the darker caps I also hold them up to the light for easier viewing.

43 gwen February 20, 2011 at 12:25 pm

I tryed using my coke rewards to add another year to my pogo acct. Please someone help me because I do not see that pogo added it to my acct.. Trying calling pogo…got nowhere with them..
What next

44 MomsBassetHound February 20, 2011 at 2:22 pm

gwen #43 – They do not change the dates until they actually use the reward. What you should see when you go into your account, under subscription and billing information, is “Club Pogo Membership Card” written in red. You should see 1 of these for each reward that you have added to your account.

When your current expiration date comes around they will add the time to your account….your new expiration date will show, and the “Club Pogo Membership Card” that was redeemed will be removed from your list of rewards.

Your expiration date will not change, no matter how many rewards you have added, until they actually need to use 1 of them to renew your account.
