As someone who’s read every, single episode from Jigsaw Detective, I must say the last one is moving and worth the time. After I got the badge, I replaced my old, moving badge with the last from Jigsaw Detective.

I’ll miss the monthly badges from this game, but Pogo ended the series in a way not likely to be forgotten.

Just putting this out there: if anyone has completed all of the cases and feels like typing them up (I know, I know) I’d happily archive the stories forever on this site.

I might be able to help you out on that one, Lura! I love to type (over 160 wpm) and have nothing else to do. Let me know how you want me to proceed. Regards, Mari

Mari: I’ll send you an email later today. Thanks!

If anyone else wants to split the load let me know. You guys rock!

Lura, not sure if this would work or not…but just a thought to whoever wants to do it. Why type it out, can’t someone just pull up the segments and cut and paste it to a page? That takes time, but probably not as much as typing the whole thing out.

Faith: interesting idea, thanks! I think it’s a good idea, but among other reasons, bandwidth-wise I think it’s better to have it in text.

Lura the online text can be pasted into a word document, I do that all the time. Sometimes it needs a touch of reformatting, but it’s easy to fix and I would be delighted to help with reformatting if needed. Just let me know

Lura, I tried cutting and pasting, and it didn’t work for me, so I went ahead and typed up Case #1 already and put it in a Word doc under it’s own folder. My idea was to put several cases into one folder (5 or more maybe?) and attaching it to you via e-mail.

Suz: haha! :)

Ed: I wasn’t able to copying and paste to work, but please feel free! You know my email. Maybe start working backwards? I’ll have Mari start at Case 1.

I loved jig saw dect. !!was my favorite pogo game .im putting off a bit playing the last episode.
the badge is soooooooooooo ugly and for awhile it seems most of them are. I sure wish pogo would change whomever is designing the badges . its disheartening to finsh all ranks and then come to the last badge you want to proudly wear and oooooooopppppppppsss its ugly as ****.come on pogo give us some lovely, pretty, cute badges again not all these ugly faces that id never wear!
thanks Lura for a wonderful site!! I log in here before i ever go to pogo !!

Lura I double checked and you are right, copy/paste does not work. It seems like the game converts the text to a bitmap, making it impossible to copy. It is possible to do a screen shot and then crop the pictures to upload on the site, but if this isn’t a viable alternative typing it is the only way.

Thanks Ed! I’m still taking volunteers to type the case notes up; the more the merrier! Just let me know using the contact link at the bottom of any page.

Well, copy/paste was at least worth a try. Gl on the typing. :)

Not wanting to give away the ending, but, for some reason, I think the whole story will be out next Wednesday. That’s what I got from the last sentence in the notes…could be wrong.

Another option for capturing the text from the notebook pages might be if someone has OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software. Often this comes free with scanner software. When you take a screenshot, open it in the OCR software, select the area with the text and run the software. It will output the words as an actual text file.

I don’t know if this would be faster or not, but might be. I would love to offer assistance but unfortunately, I only ever completed Case 1 of this game. lol

Bummer for me. I like to be entertained, don’t read or watch sad stuff.

I like playing this game but have a VERY long way to go to get to this one. I don’t play it as often as I should and have never been able to keep up on it. I’d offer help in typing out the stories but am in the middle of the one I’m on. If by chance I get to the next before someone else does I try to remember and see if it was done yet or not and if not then do it.

So, Mari’s working hard on typing up the case notes. If you’d like to help volunteer, contact me using the contact link at the bottom of any page and I’ll let you know which cases we need at that time. I don’t want anyone duplicating efforts. Thanks!

It’s after 230 am here and I’m bumed out to say the elast …well I’ll add that to my score of 59 finished games in pogo .
