Well, this just a little off topic, so here it is!

The Olympics, are here and soon will be over and POGO, did nothing to inspire any enthusiasm on their site. I for one , Im very dissapointed in them, and it is not that they didnt know about it.

Yes, I won $5.00 in a yahtzee game jackpot spin. After using $4.00 for gas to go to the bank to cash the check, I used the balance for a down payment on a cup of coffee. Now a question: I am the proud owner of the premium album
ON THE GO in which, after many months of frustration, I have only completed 5 of 12 badges. I dont expect to ever complete this album, as the challenges are all related to short time limits (minutes) and difficult tasks. So, my question is…..has anyone ever completed this album ?? My hat is off to those who have!

Well I for one have not won anything other than screensavers so far but I am holding out for a giant jackpot LOL I almost always choose what game I am gonna play by the jp (unless it is a badge game of course) I figure anything over $2500 (since mine would be doubled) is a worthwhile win LOL how obsessed is that !!

The thing about meeting in certain rooms is a fantastic idea! I have met many great people there although I have not run into you yet Lura LOL (what is ur sn??- if you dont mind saying) Hope all is going well with the new baby ;)

don: I bet if you ask for help in here on any of those badges. there would be plenty of advise I had a few MM badges I couldnt do and I asked for tips and/or help and I finally got them after some persistance and yes I do have that album and all the others as a matter of fact LOL

@ Mar (#1) – I am also frustrated by this. However, I noticed that Pogo seems to like missing all holidays or events that arent in the States … nothing against those that live in the States – but were get Mini stuff for Independence Day, but not for Canada Day (which is only 3 days before). Or, they release things for Thanksgiving in November, but not in October (which is the Canadian Thanksgiving) … and not to mention other holidays celebrated in other countries that contribute a large population to Pogo (sorry! Im not up-to-date on all the holidays in different nations) … Dont mean to sound rant-y … I just take much pride in my country and our holidays!

@ Don (#3) – I have also finished that album. Sure, you have to be QUICK – but practice makes perfect! Dont give up!

I havent won prizes or money, but I have won gems! (Yay, 5 gems! LOL)

RE: The Olympics — I bet Pogo would have to pay some sort of royalty money for the use of the Olympic name or symbols so thats probably why they didnt do anything special. I think thats why the NBA items costs so many gems — because they had to pay a fee to the NBA to use them. There are some cool skiing/snowboarding things in the mini mall though :)

Ive only won wallpapers and screensavers through Pogo. Would love to win some gems!

The up coming badge in chess I was wondering if you had any hints on getting that badge. I dont play chess, so anything would be helpful towards getting that badge.

I had a little trouble getting into rooms that begin with M when I was working on my badges. Maybe choose more than one letter, like rooms that begin with M or T or whatever. Or, since it seems that the rooms with names fill up so quickly and there are always so many temporary rooms in badge games, you could do any temp room between two specific numbers.

As for this weekends topic: Ive yet to win anything but wallpaper and Im sure that will never change, lol.

ann #13. You might want to visit pogotips.com and select chess. There are many good tips for all games that I have found very helpful.

Katmouse, youre spot on about the Olympic/NBA charges. For what its worth, Pogos never had any Olympic items in the Mini Mall nor have I ever noticed them promoting the games themselves. It doesnt bother me; Olympic coverage is all over the TV and news, both online and off so I get whatever Winter Olympics fix I need that way.

For the On the Go PBA, one bit of advice I can lend is to wait to start the challenge until the very last second you can. I always keep two browser windows open while playing Pogo – one is for my game screen/homepage and the other is the Find a Badge page with whatever game Im working on sorted and ready to go. As I progress in the game, I have the timed challenge ready and at the last moment, I activate it. It works for many of the timed challenges.

Oh yeah – me? Win anything?? LMAO, I won some gems once. Spent em before the ink was dry.

don #3 = Yes I have completed all albums as well and all MM albums also do it as tigger#10 suggests which is way i did it, also i feel price on some challenges have not been worth the cost because they were to easy and not a good challenge…. for me the tougher the better to achieve satisfaction of accomplisment.

well i guess i have been lucky in a way (NEVER NO $$) but i won 5 gems in a jp spin, and also won a free week of pogo in a jp spin and naturally i have won many of the famous screen savers and backgrounds… but when it happens that ya win something on jp spinner (was the case with me anyways) i was just so excited i won something and totally cant remember what game…. lmao isnt that sad? lol for don #3 i do have and completed that album and tigger is right start playing the game and b4 u get to winning point pause it and activate challenge that is how i won some in that album…or post here which game in particular u need help with and i will see if i know of any certain tip to help ya or some 1 else may have a tip that will help……
for those talking about the olympics… i understand you frustration, and even tho it seems and may be to some point one sided there have been a few (not many) but few times pogo has released things for other countries that and us side got nothing, but over all in general us U.S. people feel you pain to cus as pogo is pogo they never keep up with things and omit things they say they will do such as new mini golf madness courses monthly which has happened all of once i think (very dissappointing) and it use to be we got limited edition badges on or @ holidays that were provided to all (FREE) where as now its all limited edition per a GEM purchase, and several other things like that (mind went blank) that never happen….have a great week-end all……

I too only won screensavers and wallpaper and yes–just once, a one week free in pogo…I held on to that for about 18 months, laughing because i had no intention of letting my pogo memebership lapse…Lo and behold, I found someone to donate it to. I was in a room talking with a woman who was frazzled. She had been a club member for only one year (a gift from a family member). She had collected badges and her membership was due to expire. She had asked pogo for an extension and had been denied. She would not get paid until after the due date and asked me if I thought they would really take her badges away. I knew they would but wasnt sure what the lag time would be..all of a sudden, I remembered the free week. We put each other on friends list while i confirmed I still had it available and we made arrangements to transfer it. The end of the story is that it cost me nothing, it saved her badges, she paid her membership with the extension, and we remain friends to this date. So, never say never.

I too was quite pleased with the new mini items….i got the toddler jumping and clapping, which is at the same stage as my 19-month old grandson. He was on my lap when I loaded it, pointing and grinning. He kept laughing, then, got down, jumped and clapped. He got back up and wanted to kiss the screen. This is the happiest mini scene I ever got and the most close to real life if you looked thru my puter screen.
i have sent pogomail to friends with grandchildren who love them so much, offering to buy them minis just because we sit and talk about our grands together. Waiting for hair color at this time. I think this is as close as sending photos or (dread) posting on facebook..

Ann #13 on left side of Badgehungry there is a list of Game Helps under that list is “Chess Moves” if you follow steps under that you will win every time against the bots.

I won $10 in February 09 playing Lottso. Don’t remember what i spent it on. Won tons of wallpaper, screensavers, etc. lol

As for grouping on weekly challenges, I looked for patterns to pack in more caring to join, esp after the initial influx…yahtzee didnt have a lot of rooms starting with the same initial letter..

However, first class soli had a boatload, not in paid rooms, but in the free rooms, under topics–Multiple B rooms, as well as H rooms–get it, BH–just a suggestion, others can explore options in the rooms as well.

I won $10.00 in Tumble Bees. After waiting for over six weeks, I inquired as to where my check was. I was told that in going over my account, I had at one time used an auto-player, so I could not receive any money. If my account stayed clear for six months, I could win another one if I was lucky enough to. I’m a Mac girl, and to my knowledge there is not an auto-player app out there for a Mac nor would I ever use one. I feel I was cheated but didn’t argue … oh well!

oh yea, forgot to add to my last post, only won wallpaper lol..and hehe i found 1 person from here in wsd(im still sittin in a room lol)come out wherever u r hehe..i think this is a wonderful idea, would be nice to play the games with fellow bh’ers and having fun :)

Don # 3 Yes I finished this album in just one day, activate your challenge just before the game is over, so what I did what this, go to your book and pick one challege, click on it (don’t activate) and you will get a small window , minimize this window and once you are about to finish your game (or first game in case you need to play more than one), quickly maximize, click activate and go back to your game, worked for me hopes it works for you. GL
Jancee # 4 I paid for Pictureka after my free trial because I liked the game a lot and I paid for TriPeaks deluxe just for the mini items but I do like the game, I bought both on sale, so no, I don’t regret buying them.

Now back to topic. I won a free week to Club Pogo and applied it to my account right away, and I won $5 that I’m not going to spend, I still have the check, that’s all. And well lots of screensavers and wallpapers too lololol

Hello everyone, I too havent won anything spectacular on Pogo.

However, I have won 17 wallpapers and 3 screensavers.
I also won 5 gems once, and gametime (a free week on pogo).

Still hoping for some $$ (LOL). It is still nice though to get something other than tokens once in a while.

I myself have won 5 gems thru the jackpot spinner…. and i have known 3 people that have each won 10 bucks and it took them about 2 months to get their check in the mail……..

#3 Also, I too have finished this premium album. a hint that might help a little, bring the game up and playing BEFORE you activate the challenge. This will give you a few seconds more. With about all games you end up with at least 2 windows on some 3. after you get the game going, send the actual game to the bar and use the other window to activate the challenge then just click the already started game on the bar and go for it. Hope this helps a little

I am new to BH finding it quite by mistake…doing search for another site mentioned in chat while playing a Pogo game. Best mistake I ever made…this site is FABULOUS…Thank You Lura for all your hard work and to all its members for all the tips. You all ROCK!!

To address this weeks thread question: I have won wallpaper and screensavers on the average of once a month since joining Pogo last March and I do actually use them. Do not expect to win any jps and since I now reside in Florida, many sweeps and contests are void so I can not enter nor win.

To say I am addicted to Pogo (Badges) is an understatement…even with all their quirks etc., I play for too many hours every day. My husband thinks I need therapy since I get grumpy if I do not master a challenge or get a rank badge..Seriously, he will go to work and I will be playing a game..when he gets home, I will still be playing…Needless to say that my once immaculate could eat off the floor house no longer exists. ROFL

I normally do not chat in any game rooms since I am usuallly on a mission working on badges and ranking up. The idea of meeting up in specific game rooms is a great one and next week I WILL go there since First Class will be a marathon for me (I stink @ Solitaire) and will very much appreciate being able to chat with fellow BHs.

TIP for those whom are addicted to Slots….Play in the Free Rooms..I have proved over and over and over again that you can complete challenges and rank up twice as fast in the Free vs. Members Rooms.

EXAMPLE: Sock Hop Slots: Road To Fame And Fortune Badge (should be Torture and now retired..LOL).
I recently did this badge for myself 2x. Once in members room taking 4,783 spins to complete the story bonus and once in free rooms taking 2,385 spins to complete the story bonus.
Then I did it 2x for my sister just to prove I was right. In the free rooms it ony took 2,274 spins to complete and in members room it took 4,628 spins to complete.
Note the disparity…I will now only play in free rooms when it comes to Slots…since it happened with Ali Baba slots too. Have not tried with HHS (ranked out), or MS and will not play orphan games (those without badges).

Good luck don #8 and sirb #11 on your quest for those badges. Sorry I cant offer any tips that have not all ready been suggested but, I dont buy ANY MMs or Premuim Albums unless I know for a fact that I can complete the challenges within. I did not purchase either of the Albums you two have just for that reason. Challenges yes, bring them on…no more marathons please (Tri-Peaks–yes I did it), dont need the frustration so I carefully read the requirements and if there is any doubt I go to the game and try to complete the challenge…if I cant and despised doing so…I dont purchase.

Have 2 friends that have won on Pogo. One of them won $5 and the other won a JP that was doubled to the max of $4999. Both of them got their money within 6 to 8 weeks.

I was also disappointed not to see anything in the Mini Mall for the Olympics, but I put my own together. I used the background that is a snow covered mountain, put on my red/white/blue shirt, and used a couple of gold goodies that were game awards. It just took me a little time going thru my closet to find everything…LOL

Carol, I would love to help you, but I think Im a little confused over which badges you are talking about since you also mention MnMs in your question. When talking about personal badges, I think most of us are referring to the weekly challenge badges – the ones you have maybe not won yet from previous months or years, or the ones you choose to repeat for tokens, since Pogo lets you do a personal badge every week.

For instance, I am usually caught up on my weekly challenge badges, for all the yearly albums. So, if I choose to do a personal challenge, I am automatically re-doing one. But if I fall behind on my weekly challenge badges, I will have to wait and play them as personals down the line sometime. For instance, I did not get to do the HH badge last week. It will be available for me to do as a personal badge the week of March 24th and so I will try it then.

Perhaps if you could let us know exactly which badges you are talking about, or on which Pogo page (or under what tab) you are getting the message that is confusing you, we can try to help you out.

I have never won anything except, I guess, some wallpaper. I have a feeling I have won alot more wallpaper than I even know. lol But I never use it, so…. Of course, I would love CASH or some gems, but I really would be happy with a Pogo mug as others have said. There is no Pogo store anymore, right? lol

IckleRebel other UKers – I read on the UK side once about the giveaways. You guys had some great prizes at one point! But, I didnt understand how you got entered into the drawings – is it via tokens? On the US side – is that what other people do for some of these prizes also? I have never done the token drawings. Pooh #46 – were those prizes on the jackpot spinner? Congrats!

Im starting to feel like Charlie Brown on Halloween – I got a rock (tokens). lol

I agree that some acknowledgement of the Olympics would have been nice – though I am less interested in any USA-specific items. Pogo prides itself on being an international site – it would have been a nice tie-in to do something with the Olympics. I agree with the Canadians who always seem to get left out with their holidays. And was it just me, or did US Pogo TOTALLY miss decorating the Club Pogo main page for Christmas??? UK Pogo had a nice little snowy decoration and a Merry Christmas wish on theirs, for weeks I believe. And the US Club Pogo page was gorgeous last Christmas (2008). I was really upset that 2009 had…..nothing, beyond all the stuff we could purchase in the mini mall. Not even a holiday greeting on the main page when the 25th rolled around.

#47 yates – Thanks for slots tip! I have long wondered if there might be an edge in going into the free rooms for different games. (And happy to hear someone elses house looks like mine now. lol)

Don #3 – I have completed the On The Go album also – I really love the timed challenges. As many others have said, the only way to do some of those is to delay activating the badge. You may need to experiment to see how long you can wait to activate – for instance, Im pretty sure you can wait until the 10th Frame in Bowling – so you can get almost one whole game in before the clock starts ticking. Same with Phlinx – you dont get a jackpot spin until you have played thru 4 rounds – you can wait to activate it until just before you finish the 4th night time round. Feel free to post the games you are most having trouble with – Im sure someone will have a good tip or two!

for cherry #48 im pretty sure the dress lura was wearing last weekend came from lottso deluxe (downloadable) game, i just know it was a game award outfil for 1 of the downloadable games and will re post if it is different game but pretty sure its lottso deluxe… all i can get is dial-up so reasearch takes for ever but i remember the dress when i won it long ago…..

For Robin #52: Double-click your McAfee icon on the bottom toolbar. This brings up your security center. Click on “Lockdown Firewall” where you can check if your firewall is enabled. Hope this helps!

I am a new poster, but a long “lurker” to BH! I love this site! Thank you Lura for all the work you do! I have won very few wallpapers and screensavers. No $ yet :-( I’ve never used the wallpapers and screensavers I have won… I heard a rumor awhile back that if you use them, you’ll get a virus. Just wondering if anyone has found that to be true?! This is regards to what Mar said (the first post). I too am very disappointed about POGO and the Olympics…They put stuff out for your mini for Basketball and couldnt even put something there for the Olympics!!

To the topic at hand — no, I have never won anything at Pogo that I could put in my money clip… sigh.

I did wonder if this past week would be the one that Pogo finally awarded the Hog Heaven jackpot. With the (literally) hundreds of thousands of spins made, someone should have won it.

Of course, I have heard countless reasons in the rooms why no one has won it, and I really would rather not derail this thread. But, if the jackpot is really waiting to be won (as Pogo continually claims), it should have been won this past week…

Well other than tons of wallpaper and screensavers I have won $5.00 in a jackpot spin. 7 years and 5 bucks. Its not like I ever really thought it was possible to win the big ones anyways. Really on pogo for the fun and the tokies so anything else is just a bonus.

Pat: If you let your account expire you don’t lose your tokens or your badges or albums. Mine was expired while I was in Iraq and when I came home bought a new membership and everything was still there.

Kevin B: Don’t be too surprised; hog heaven is one of the hardest jps to get. Most people are lucky to even get a spin in that game :(

Haven’t won any prizes on the jp spinner (other than wallpapers, of course) :( Most I’ve ever won in a jps is 5,000 tokens in crossword (in that game, spins are either really good or really bad lol).

I still have my fingers crossed, waiting to see if pogo will drop the requirement on next week’s yahtzee badge, yuck :(

Serena (#50), if I’m in a game where I know I’ve been specifically chosen and the chat is open (it usually isn’t), I’ll say thanks or you’re welcome. I’ll be honest about the way I choose someone to give a gift to. I pick the person with the least obnoxious mini. If they are both obnoxious, I pick the one with the least amount of tokens.

As far as saying thank you and your welcome: I don’t do it. The game randomly chooses who to give the gift to. When I’m playing a game, I’m focused on the game and I get annoyed if I have to stop to type thanks or your welcome every 10 seconds. I don’t like looking over and seeing nothing but “ty” and “yw” because it’s supposed to be a chat room where people actually talk. That doesn’t mean I’m not grateful for the 100 tokens or whatever. I guess I’m just more grateful to the game for randomly choosing me than to a person for playing the game.

So, that probably makes me sound like a bad person. I promise I’m nice.

i won $20.00 filled out the paperwork, sent it in that same night, was told if i did not receive it within a certain amount of time to notify them. my time was up, no money, i tried calling for three days. had to wait until after the weekend. on the third day Monday they answered and i told them i had not received anything. they told me i never sent anything in and would not get anything that my time was up . they never took the badge out of my badges won so it shows i won NOT TRUE I NEVER GOT PAID as did many of my friends.
i check all the winners and majority of them are new members and i never see them again , i put them on my friends list . they just vanish. mmmmm what would you think ?????????

You asked if anyone says ty and/or yw in games that have gifting……Personally I only say ty if I know the player doing the gifting has chosen me and not pogo chosen me, though if someone says ty to me in a game where pogo has chosen them I usually say np, I won’t ignore them.
So in Addiction Solitaire I say ty as I know that person has chosen me over someone else, in WSD and Mahjongg Safari I don’t say ty because pogo has chosen me.
In WSD someone got annoyed and kept calling me out in chat because I didn’t say ty when pogo gave me their gift. In the end I said ”Ty Pogo for giving me so-and-so’s tokens” they didn’t have an answer and left me alone after that….lol

In Addict Soli I usually choose the person who gets my tokens by a couple of different ways. If they have gifted me I will reciprocate, if I am chatting to them and they are a nice person they get my tokies or failing those 2 options I usually give to the player with the least tokies.

#74 – Beth – don’t know if you know this or if it will help but in IE tools i delete temp. files but rarely delete cookies having been told if you delete cookies the game/picture has to reload so i keep all my cookies…

i started with dial-up, tried to get satelite but we only had 2 towers and hills and trees blocked getting to our house, fortunately charter laid cable and i was able to hook up.

Thanks Beth and Lura. OF COURSE it is Lottso Deluxe!! lol That may be the only deluxe game I didn’t buy as I’d gotten so burned out playing the regular lottso game. I’ll have to chat with Miss Mini~~she may opt for a few other new items…possibly the bengal tiger pet VS Lottso Deluxe clothes!! But thank you so much for the information.
As for winnings!~~5 gems once on a JP spin, otherwise only wallpaper…not so much as a mug or hat!! But sure love Pogo!! And certainly glad to have found this wonderful BadgeHungry site. I’ve completed my badges but think I’ll try to get into an “M” room. **By the way….is it ‘allowed’ by Pogo to even mention BadgeHungry in pogo room chat?? I’ve never won anything but tokens, wallpapers, and screensavers through the Jackpot Spinner (yet). However, I won $950 over the course of several drawings back in 2003 and 2004.

Here’s the explanation of how I could win the drawing so many times: Shortly after EA took over Pogo, they added a second set of prize drawings for EA Sports alongside the regular Pogo drawings. The frequency and prize values for the EA Sports drawings were the same as the Pogo drawings, but they were two separate drawings. So each day there’s be a $50 winner in the Pogo drawing and a $50 in the EA Sports drawing. Additionally, the EA Sports drawings had a limit of 100 tickets per account per drawing, unlike the Pogo drawings where anybody can enter as many tickets as they have the tokens for. Most people were completely unaware of the EA Sports drawings — the only mention of them on Pogo was a link to the entry area for them buried in the contest fine print — and as a result not very many people entered them, resulting in the same small group of people winning them repeatedly. Unfortunately EA discontinued the EA Sports drawings near the end of 2004, or else I’d still be getting $50 every month or two from them. :P

Just wanted to give some salutes out to those who have been striving in crossword cove. Just was looking at the ranks and rank 45/50 is about 4/5 of the total needed to complete the game. So, hang in there, we are getting closer.

I go according to how many tokens the person has when gifting and I usually do say ty when gifted no matter whether it was a person or pogo giving.

I suppose if I was real ambitious I could find out for sure if that’s the case~maybe on one of my don’t know what else to do I will attempt to validate it LOL

Of course the only thing I’ve won is the wallpaper and screensavers, lol Lucky is NOT my name. :)

But I did Rank Out in Scrabble last night! YAAAYYY!! That was one of the games I was working on when last week’s question was up, was that last weekend? lol I truly felt like a BIG WINNER when I accomplished that. :)

Another note for Don #3, yes I’ve won that Album and it is a toughy, but you can do it if you follow the tips that have already been given. Here’s mine: What I did is open the Challenge Box in a new window, NOT ACTIVATE IT–JUST OPEN IT–reduce it until it’s really small, start playing my game, then when I’m ready all I have to do is click on it and then close it. But like everyone has said–WAIT until you are almost finished with whatever the game or Challenge is so you aren’t TAKING UP THE TIME WORKING ON OR LOADING THE GAME!! That’s what we mean by waiting until you’ve already started. Got that? Each game can be done that way. It even helps to forgo the jackpot spinner sometimes just to save time.

And Pat #31, I’d like to see us play under some more letters too, like the Letters B and H, lol. Definitely noticed more rooms under those letters. I had alot of trouble getting into the M rooms this past week, but I’ll keep trying to find everyone wherever they are, Lura. I just had no luck getting in them this past week, :( So, had to do my Badges alone, wwwwaaaahhhh!

A bit off topic, but mentioned earlier, I’ve been trying to open an account with RECYCLE BANK and can’t do it!! It says my Email Address is invalid!! Wrote to Customer Service but they’ve not answered me yet. What did everyone else do to open their account so fast? ANY help would be appreciated. :)

Hi all. I’ve never won money in a Jackpot Spin, just tokens, wallpapers, and screensaver. Heck will probally freeze over before I win any moola.
Waiting for Flower Daze to come out.

No big wins here either. I went and checked in Recent Winners and I must say it was a rather pathetic list of screensavers and wallpaper that I had. 9 items for over 15 months of membership. Guess I don’t have “Lucky” in my name either.

I did get to chat with a few BHers in WS. It was nice to see the familiar names. WS is a good one to chat between games. Some other games don’t give you much time – or I’m too busy concentrating. :)

I tend to say ty and yw if I’m in a room where others seem to be doing it – and/or if I’m not concentrating on the game too much. I definitely try to say it more in the games were we get to choose. When I get to choose I much admit I generally pick the mini I like best or reciprocate to someone who has given me tokens.

Kat F #95..when I applied for the RECYCLE BANK I was told too that I had an invalid email addy…so I typed my email addy in all lower cases letters and for some reason it worked..hope that helps you out..have a great weekend all.

In response to #4, Jancee, I have purchased a few download games and I think Word Riot Deluxe was well worth it because I opted out for clue giving and if I couldnt type fast enough I was able to click on my teammates answers and got my ranks very fast, about every other games sometimes every two. I also got a lot of mini items from this game. I also bought Diner Dash and am STUCK, I got to the place where I have a lot of arms but I still cant keep up with the customers, so I am disappointed I bought this one. If anyone has played this and can help me I would appreciate it. Thanks. :)

I won $10.00 April 10, 2008 got my money right away. I won it in Tumble Bees. Just deposited it in my savings account.

I bought Zenerchi and Zumas Dleuxe and am stuck on both. At least with Zuma I didnt get stuck til 46 out of 50 stages but Ive been working on the same level for months now and still cant get passed it.
Zenerchi onthe other hand I am only on the 12th puzzle out of about a 100 and have been stuck for about 6 months. Drives me absolutley insane.
But I gotta say I dont regret buying either one as they are frustratingly addictive and have used up many hours.

I haven’t won anything yet but only been member 6 months.

#68 Ramcupp. You can very easily give the POGO gift memberships from RecycleBank to friends. Simply give them the code as we did with Subway and other promotions. Also check your email for 200 points to all Gconomy Visa Cardholders. My only concern is the limit of one offer per household. I have only ordered one so far so not clear whether that is RecycleBank limit or Pogo limit. Pogo general rule limits one promotion per screen name but that didn’t apply to Subway. Wait and see. I don’t see anything about the 6 month limit previously reported but the offer does expire June 30, 2010.

Ram #75 – I don’t know about your claim that most winners are new members. But I do know you not seeing them anymore on your Friends list means nothing. Anyone can block you (or everyone) from seeing them. I have heard many times that the winners are inundated with messages, from people trying to see if they are “real people” winning those prizes. (Kind of like Abby #76?? lol I’m glad you got an answer!)

I may hope to win some day, but I understand it is like the lottery and it’s going to be luck and chance. Considering I can’t even manage to win all the mini items in Addiction Solitaire, I won’t hold my breath on a big jackpot payout. lol But I’m glad to hear they do happen.

mpb#120 – congrats on your UK prizes – they are great. So, no one has answered me yet – are those jackpot spinner prizes? Or token-entry drawing prizes?

About purchased games. I purchased a few back when there was a special sale at Christmas-time – either 2007 or 2008. One of the reasons I had put off purchasing any before then (or since) was not having the time to play them and the same still holds true. I purchased them, and have never played them. And not to sound like a complete loser (hush, all! lol), I am not even sure how to find them anymore on my computer (or maybe they are still in email???). Has anyone had that problem before? Would Pogo have a record which I can access somehow?

Lura, I want to thank you for the specific rooms try-outs – I havent found anyone yet, but I love the idea.

I, too, have never liked the idea of temporary room numbers (and it may be one of the reasons I put off doing my badges the first day or two). I think it stems from liking the idea of finding a community of people to play with – and you rarely if ever find a person who says Come bowl with us in Temp Rm #5876 – its the best room around! lol So – for me – picking a Temp Rm # to use all week might not be very appealing.

However, if we could pick just one number that everyone would just go to, it might be easier to find people that way than in a number of any M rooms, for instance. I wasnt sure if I should room hop after I didnt find anyone in the first M room, then decided I could be missing BHers by room hopping! lol

Anyway, I know there are a lot of different things to think about with it – Im just thinking too. Im sure we will all figure something out and so far, it sounds like it has worked for quite a few people!

A few other thoughts: If we can check out rooms the week before to see which ones usually dont have many people in them, they may stay emptier than others. Also, if we know a specific room name ahead of time, we might be able to get in either via backdoors links or thru the invitation system in the Club Pogo message system.

(For those that dont know, you can send yourself an invitation to a specific room and just keep it in your club messages. I have used that method several times to get into one of my usual rooms during a badge week.)

Lastly, I think to find each other, people have to be willing to do some kind of shout out when they enter (and maybe even a few times while still there). I vote for Is anyone Badge Hungry? that an earlier poster mentioned (maybe in the weekly challenge thread). I thought that was really cute. lol I used it in WSD, but no luck. :-)

For kathe #110–I have one thought on your post RE: Flower Daze. And it’s “WHEW”!!! I just hated the idea of another Wonderland Memory type game. I’ve not won ONE SINGLE token playing that stoopid game, EVER!! I just don’t get that!! LOL LOL I can beat the Queen with her cookie song, but earn a tokie?? NO WAY!! And you ALL can stop laughing at me now. :)

On finding each other in rooms: I do like the suggestion of having similar badges: How about we use the 5 or 10 yr Pogo Anniversary Badges during the Weekly Challenges if we’re working on our Badges and want to be found in whatever Letter Room we’ve chosen? Doesn’t everyone have at least one of those? Or another year, the 1, 2, or three year? Just a thought . :) Then we’d all look the same, right? :)

Does ANYONE HAVE A CLUE HOW TO SOLVE THE UK PUZZLE TREATS ON THE HARD LEVEL FOR 1000 TOKENS? It’s the FREE weekly UK Club Pogo Treats–solving the Slider Puzzle? I used to be able to solve it in a snap and would practice all the time, but lately I can’t get the pieces to fit where they should in the bottom right corner. It’s driving me INSANE!!!

PLEASE HELP ME WITH A SCREEN SHOT TAKEN RIGHT BEFORE YOU SOLVE IT OR SOMETHING? When I do solve it, it goes together so FAST and awards me the tokens and I’m left wondering how I did it, LOLLLLL

Hi I won an electric tea kettle from pogo last year. It took some time getting to me after I won it and the box was in really bad shape but it worked in the end. Now I have something to give my girls when they go off to college.

I won a free week of pogo a few years back and they added that week to my subscription – I have also won free gems and so much wallpaper I could do my whold house and about 3 more LOL
