Congratulations to everyone who has kept up with both the US and UK versions of Trivial Pursuit Daily 20 and reached rank 50 this weekend, earning themselves the Trivia Genius badge!
When Trivial Pursuit first came out, there was an error that caused some people to get a week ahead. Some of you may not have received this bump but are still up to date as much as you can be, so you’ll be ranking out next weekend.
For those of you who haven’t kept up, just know it’s now possible to complete every daily puzzle and rank 50 is finally attainable. If you need a little help, don’t forget to consult our Trivial Pursuit answers archive, it’s one of our most popular pages and has helped a lot of people in a pinch. Thanks to everyone (most recently Norma and Karen) who has submitted their answers on a daily basis to help the community!
Pogo has not shown any intention of stopping the new daily puzzles (because they don’t seem to encourage people to play both US and UK sides, leaving a lot left for those who only play one), so as long as they’re continuing to post new questions and answers, we’ll be keeping our archive up to date on a daily basis. We don’t know where the rumors started, but it’s completely false that Trivial Pursuit is “ending” now that players who have played both sides consistently are reaching rank 50.

I reached rank 50 on Saturday!!! Whew,I didn’t think it would ever come…lol. I haven’t decided if I will continue to play. The tokens are really good,but just knowing you have to play every day to keep up was a pain sometimes. Now I can take a break and not worry about keeping up,or catching up. It wasn’t my favorite game anyway.

I must be missing something, because I still have one more pie to complete. The archives for both the US and UK sides are complete. Well, I guess it’s not a big deal.
I think the most tedious part about Trivial Pursuit is the whole waiting. Yet, the token payout is certainly nice – especially on Sundays. So, yeah, I understand the dilemma. It probably takes five minutes tops, but it can still get tedious.

I have been playing since day1 and will reach rank 50 next week (unless i missed sumthing in archives). I play both U.S. & U.K. everyday. A long lay up with a broken foot helped catch up on all of the past games & man it seems like forever. Love this game plus you get alot of tokens when you do both. Now the wife wants me to get hers caught up. So here i go again,lol

I need one more pie and play all games in UK and US version. But one week more will not be a problem, so I will reach it next week.
I think I will play Trivial after the rank 50, because I like the tokens you get, special the weekly bonus on Sunday.
I love te answers here on badgehungry, otherwise it was not possible for me to play the game. Thanks for it Lura!

I also have one more pie to get, even though Ive done every week on both sides, ah well, no biggie, Ill get it next week! I think Im going to continue with doing it even after rank 50 because I just love the token payout, and its no effort when you already have the answers :)

Tobbie: you need to play both sides (US and UK Trivial Pursuit). The questions are different each day and you can earn twice as much rank progress every day. To get to the UK side, just go to the Trivial Pursuit page and scroll to the bottom, then click the UK flag. You can always tell what side you’re on by looking at the Club Pogo logo, the UK one has a little UK flag icon next to it. When you hit Play Now, you’ll be playing the UK version. (Switching back is as easy as just choosing the US flag when you want to.) Only TP and Crossword Cove are like this, no other game offers this kind of double-ranking ability. Have fun!

I thought I was missing something big time when many people were saying they got to rank 50 already and I was only at Rank 29 after playing all games up to this point. but after reading the response to Tobbie it makes sense now. TP US is enough for me dont want to spend more time answering questions when I have other games Id rather play. My question would be by playing both TP US TP UK simultaneously, you have Rank 50, do you also have the Trivial Warrior Badge (earn 75 bonus wedges)?

I need one more pie also and Ive been keeping up with both US and UK. The token payout is well worth the time. My only problem was several times in the UK mode there would be 2 correct answers and one of them was counted as wrong. If both answers were identical, how could one of them be wrong? And, of course, I usually picked the one they considered wrong. I just wondered if anyone else had that problem. I wrote to pogo but, as usual, I never got an answer.
Thanks so much to everyone who has provided the answers. I always got so frustrated when all the questions were about sports or history since I know very little about either.

For Chris #17 – You get all the badges by playing the US UK Trivial Pursuit quizzes. So yes, we have the bonus wedge badge too.
I still need 1 pie to get to rank 50, but will continue to play b/c of the tokens.

I will make rank 50 next week and I cant wait!! Even though I use the answers I really cant stand the game! I definately WILL NOT carry on playing after rank 50 unless they add more ranks. If they are adding more ranks I hope its not for a long long time.
Being in the UK tokens are pretty useless so I personally see no point even playing to get those.

1 more and im done, but here is a tip for those that has a lot to make up in 1 or both versions, with answers on here you can get wedge in 10 Q, start a new day after the wedge drops, and repeat, it is the fastest way to catch up in rank, you wont get the great amount of tokes but its less time consuming..

I will get rank 50 next week. Once I’m done that is it. I don’t care for the game. I don’t care what the token payout is I rather not play it unless its for a badge after I get to 50.

I still need 4 pies to rank out. When the game first came out my stats were off and Pogo’s suggestion to fix it was to reset them (my mistake to listen to their moronic Customer service). Anyway that set me back 3 wedges and the bump so where most need 1 more for next week, I need next week and the following. No I will not be playing anymore unless I have to because now I have Word search still and Crossword Cove so finishing 1 out of 3 is not bad.

Just a note for Dally2448 – yeah sometimes in TP there have been errors/glitches where you get 2 answers the same and they’re both the right answer.Don’t worry about it,it happens from time to time.As we all know Pogo isn’t perfect.I remember one game where the answer was a calendar date,but all the TP answer options were all random numbers lol

Okay, I guess those who have been playing both sides from the beginning experienced a glitch that allowed them to rank out one week earlier. Well, I’m looking forward to next week.
One of the posts here made me think of something. If you were to reset stats (not that I would, of course), would you still be unable to play the days that you already played?

After reading that Trivial Pursuit had reached rank 50 I wondered why, after playing both U.S. & UK , that I was only rank 32. I went to UK and checked for back months on low & behold I was not given credit for any games played in Sept. & Oct. Nothing! I can only go back to Sept. so I am thinking perhaps nothing for June, July & Aug either. I replayed Sept. but that only got me to rank 35. Something really slipped thru the cracks here.
I have not yet contacted AE and am doubtful that would help anyway. Anyone have any suggestions?

Just a quick note to congratulate all you 50-rankers, current and next week! What a great accomplishment. I am way behind even on the US side, so I will not be seeing this for a very very long time. It is taking me awhile to just try catching up a few days every day – I can’t imagine adding in the UK side too. Its just too much and too boring. I do like to test myself tho, so I generally am doing the questions myself – but I have the answer page up so I can grab some at the end if I need to. I might like doing it myself, but not enough to have to do a day twice!!! ugh. lol

For Serena #29 – I don’t think that you will be able to do the days over if you clear your stats. You could ask Pogo Customer Service just to be sure though. If you could redo them there would be some that would do it just to get the tokens a second time.

I love the game – probably my most favorite game of all time. I just recently bought a board game Trivial Pursuit. I will be at 50 next week, and will definitely continue playing – not just for the tokens but because the game is the greatest!!!!

I wasn´t sure if I wanted to keep playing after reaching rank 50 because even if the payout is great I really hate the game, but after reading maria´s post #4 I think I will, if they add more ranks (who knows …) I dont want to have to catch up again, I had to do it with some US and all of UK quizzes and it was awful so better keep it up to date. Next weekend will be my last week on Trivial Pursuit, as I sadly write this..What will I do for dailys now besides the couple I do already but doesnt come close to the 60,000 tokens on Sunday the 7700 X 2 daily from the US the UK, for a grand total of 152,400 per week from this wonderful game. Hopefully they will add more ranks soon as they have on many of the games. I loved the challenge each day but the presidents I musy say were tough. I started playing the game 10/25/08, so just a little over a year ago..I am now working on the 10 letter word in Boggle Bash, in which I am a rank 48 close to 49 at 50 again the last badge.. What will I do??
I found the word BADGE for the special badge pretty quickly I must say, I started this game only a few months ago with it being a weekly challenge I was hooked..So the only badges left to obtain is rank 50 the 10 letter one, the closest I have gotten is BREATHERS which is 9 letters, close but no close enough..LOL )~~

MomsBassetHound, I was actually thinking about that. It certainly would provide one with another opportunity to gain plenty of tokens – if you could clear stats and play them over, again. That said, it was kind of a pain for me to catch up on them the first time around – so Im not sure Id want to go through all that it, again.
Anyway, if I had all perfect games in my stats – it probably would look a little too suspicious. So, on a few occassions (when I was still trying to catch up), I didnt even try to get all perfect games. I would sometimes get up and do a little something else, after I got the daily wedge. And, actually, I started playing the game just shortly before I found this website – and learned about the UK side having separate questions.
All things considered, ten minutes out of the day (probably a little less) isnt that bad for getting to daily big tokens.
With Crossword Cove, its not as big a deal if you dont do the puzzles everyday – since its just 200 extra tokens for doing them right on the day they came out.

I have a question for those who have reached rank 50 (since I have 1 more pie to reach it)–when you pass the mouse over the rank, what does it say? Any reference to next rank or not?
When you complete a pie piece, do you get the same tokens as usual for pieces before rank 50? I will also be interested in whether you can reach beyond rank 50 (like mahjong in ages) or if it ends at 50 (as in Hog Heaven) ? Please update us and thank you in advance.

Im sure I have read somewhere in the LTTE that any games that have new ranks added wont take into account progress gained after reaching the final rank. So if they added more ranks to TP everyone would start at the same place, they wont take into account those that have carried on playing.
Ill see if I can find it and post a link here…..though dont hold your breath, I found it by accident the first time…lol

once i hit 50 thats it for me LOL. i find myself going to bigfish to play when i get caught up in things in pogo , they have fun games there , wouldnt have found it if it were not for badgehungry here thanks laura . If any that read this are newbies to pogo, should try to do the oldest dates first on TRIVIAL PURSUIT in both USA and UK versions in case pogo at some point decides to eliminate the oldest month/days whereas they cannot be played as they do CROSSWORD COVE and WORD SEARCH DAILY.
As far as I can tell, Trivial Pursuit and Crossword Cove are the only 2 games that you can double your rank in half the time via both versions.

I was upset when I first learned about Trivia because I was about two months behind with the daily answers. Do you know if there is a way that I can get them now? Seems like you can only go back 3 months with the answers…..

Yes thats true. That was the case with Tri Peaks, any extra progress wasn’t counted before the new ranks were put in. Pogo made it clear they weren’t counting the extra progress.
This brings up a potential problem and disaster if ranks were ever added to Trivia. Those who fill up the pies ahead of time get punished while those who don’t and catch up get credit. This is why I won’t be playing beyond rank 50.

Bev: with Trivial Pursuit you can go all the way back to September 2008. It’s Crossword Cove that only goes back 3 months.

I reached rank 50 last month, but did not get the genius badge mentioned. I most certainly will continue to play as its the best place on Pogo to earn tokens. I hope Pogo will continue to offer Trivial Pursuit and maybe do like they did with Tri Peaks and add another 50 ranks bringing it to 100. Love this game!

Lura, I have to say I love this site I just found it at the end of September and I am all caught up on My US TP and still have 8 months to go for UK which is not bad since I just started in September…now that I have the answers I will continue to play for the tokens…I want tokens…I do not even really shop in the mini mall as I do not want to use my tokens….So my answer is yes I will continue to play…after ranking out

Shelly #47. Yes, you are correct. Prior to Tri-Peaks they did update your ranks when they added ranks. Then, to my disapppointment, when they added ranks to Tri-Peaks they stopped that practice.
