It doesn’t seem like that hard of a challenge. At least it doesn’t require 22 of a certain kind of Yahtzee, then it’d just end up being another headache of a badge.
tip: remember to play in the wild rooms, the star dice will help a lot. ;-)

I don’t know about everyone else, but I am so tired of playing Yahtzee lately. But can’t pass up a badge, so I did it. The turkey icon is really funny. GL everyone.

For those of you having problems with Yahtzee freezing and/or not loading: You are not alone and you need to contact Pogo’s customer support. I have yet to hear of anyone who has found a fix for this.

I’m getting a bit toasted on Yahtzee badges. But, gotta get my badges!
I have found that when Yahtzee starts slowing down I just switch rooms and if that doesn’t do it, I go to the Java control panel and clear the Java temp files. This is not the same thing as temporary files and cookies in Windows. Yahtzee seems to do overload Java.

I second Lura’s suggestion for contacting pogo support. The more people who report the problem the better chance they have of pinpointing the issue.
I used to have problems with the game freezing whenever it would pop up that somebody got a yahtzee, but I haven’t experienced it in these last few challenges. I do pick a room with no one in it though just in case that pop-up was the issue.
Also for what it’s worth my computer is very old but I do keep my browser,java,etc. up to date.I also make sure nothing is running in the background.

Call me petty, but for that price the badge should award at least 3,000 tokens. Oh I’ll probably buy it, but I think the cost is too high.

Dawnply5, depending upon how your computer is set up there are a couple of ways to access the Java control panel.
First, Start button, control panel, then Java should be listed and click on that and it should lead you to the control panel. If you don’t have it set that way then……..
Option 2, when you load a game room in pogo there should be a java coffee mug near your clock. Click on the java icon and it will lead you to the control panel.

going to get my thanksgiving ltd badge as well (try and get all the ltd badges) also i have problems with the freezing issue as well notice mine happens when new player enters the room mostly but, this morn it was like some 1 else freezing when the yahtzee was announced as well, so some where between the announcements is prolly where the issue is….gl w/badge all…ohh laura you may have spoke too soon yesterday when ya told some one it wasnt as bad as other week (lol they are just waiting till later in week to start) new mini items in mall now as well!! ty for all your hard work! Thank you Lura. Yahtzee is one of the few games that regularly stops and freezes. I thought I was the only one who had this problem. I will definitely contact Pogo about this. As for the badge, I will eventually get it; I have to wait a little awhile to buy some gems (getting a little expensive for me…lol…).

Well, I bought the Thanksgiving yahtzee one, but since it’s a mix and match, I can’t even start it till I finish the other mix and match one with the 5′s. Progress is sooooo slow on that one. And like someone else said, I see a yahtzee burnout coming!!

I had no idea there was a special Yahtzee Thanksgiving challenge until I peeked in here and, once again, a big thanks to Lura for bringing it to our attention. I also find myself burning out on all the Yahtzee, Monopoly, Scrabble challenges. But would sure hate to disappoint the fine folks at Pogo and not buy this one, too. I know they depend on me. HAHAHA

Hello folks!! I don’t know if this happened to anyone else, but when I played this game earlier today, it counted ALL Yatzee plays in the main room – first Yatzee and all others. At one point (and only once – lol), I got 1 regular Yatzee and 2 Supers – all three counted. Same when I got a couple of doubles. The ones in the free game room did not. Off to some other game. This forum is the best and I love reading responses from folks.

Yahtzee tends to slow way down after about 10-15 rounds. And it’s fine again after I refresh, except I get thrown out of the queue and have to accept partial credit for Super Yahtzee rounds.
I can think of no other game that has this issue.
Pogo needs to get its Yahtzee ____ together.
