Ohh this looks exciting! I can’t wait to buy it but I will try to wait for it to go on sale as I have so many other badges to work on. I love I think pretty much every solitaire game that pogo has.

Lura 11.03.09 at 10:30 am

beth: I believe Pogo will not allow you to use gems to gift an album. This may change when they implement their whole Gifting Services stuff, but for now you’re stuck with credit card and whatever other options there might be right now.

just saw the album, some interesting challenging badges in this one..im not one for solitaire badges, but i think im gonna get this one

Will 11.03.09 at 11:36 am

I will be buying this one primarily because the graphics on the badges look awesome. The badge challenge’s seem to be the normal challenges they have had in the past for these games.

7

Vics 11.03.09 at 11:39 am

I bought it this morning. I’m looking forward to working on the badges.
Good luck to those that bought it.

I have been looking foward to the release of this badge book. I plan on getting it, but not sure when. May wait till it goes on sale. I’ve still got a bunch of Mix-n-Matches to get caught up on.

Finished all my new mix and match badges, so yahoo! when I came to this site and saw a new album available. It’s getting to where I check here before even opening up Pogo, heheh. I’ve only completed one, Rainy Day, but looking forward to the others. Good luck everyone with your new album. Regards, Mari

Rainy Day Solitaire – The description for the badge is not written very well :)

You can use the bonus column, you get no credit towards the badge for not using that, although you do get 5 tokens….wow!!

It’s the 2 free cells at the bottom that you do NOT want to use. You get credit for 2 for each game you play, so will only take 5 games to win the badge if you do not use either of them.

Good Luck and Have fun everyone!!

I buy the album imidiately becauce I love the solitair games very much. I think the badges arer beautifull from this album, isnt it?

Beth you can’t give an album and pay by gems, but I’m so happy we can buy gems now in the Netherlands, I buy the album with gems, because it’s cheaper ;-)

Good job Pogo and I hope we can soon play for the drawings to, that would be so nice!

I’m in luck I just noticed the solitaire playland album from 2007 is on sale 50% off. Finally a sale, will be picking that one up too.

I’m so happy to see another solitaire PBA. The first PBA I bought was a solitaire album. Love the graphics. I do agree that the Rainy Day Solitaire requirements are a bit confusing, but overall it looks like a fun PBA.

Rock 11.03.09 at 1:47 pm

Those pictorial captions above are so neat, im still LMAO at the fat lady on the trapeez, can you imagine that, lol

15

Rock 11.03.09 at 1:56 pm

Not that this means a lot,
But everytime I get a premium album, I also do a M&M challenge even tho I have badge for it, that way I am doing 2 challenges at the same time and do same when I do M&M challenge I always pick 1 from the premium album of same game, it dont gain any badges you dont already have unless you never did them, but it does give you more tokens that way by playing 2 challenges at once

Pat 11.03.09 at 1:57 pm

Wow, I finished the MnM last nite and was catching up on jigsaw detective. My plan was to clean house ALL DAY and be ready for the challenges on Wednesday. But, as I was working on a puzzle, the closing sign went up for the techies…you could have heard my groan from coast-to-coast. Just when I was feeling caught up, pogo sucked me right back into the vortex. Good going pogo…you saved me from cleaning and not sure that is a good thing..but, here I am, got payday free cell done already…Hmm, anyone else feel conflicted? Guess not, or you wouldnt be here (lol).

Will, thanks for mentioning that the Solitaire Premium album was on sale. Went right there and bought it. Checked back after to see if anything else was on sale and it was already gone. ??????????? I always try to wait for them to be on sale.

Hi Everyone :)

Of course I HAD to have the new PBA full of Solitaire Badges!! LOVE Solitaire and this album looks like it’s gonna be pretty easy for me . I finished the other Solitaire Album and loved that one, except that horrible Challenge in Aces Up where we had have 225 planes– LEFT OVER from our games!! Sheeesh!!
That badge took me F-O-R-E-V-E-R!! The other badges I’ve done and re-done til there are no tokies left to win, ROFL Can we say tokie hound??

Can’t wait to get started on this new one!! :) The new M&M’s are gonna go well as extra badges with the new PBA…such as the new RDS and TriPeaks that were recently released. So will activate them together as “Rock” #15 does. What’s better than doing two at the same time?? THREE!!! LOL

Good luck to all who bought it and hope you have much success.

Take care and win BIG!!

(((Hugs to ALL)))

Yippee!!!! Got the new album and it is great fun!! Two badges down though :(. Wish they made these albums a little longer. Hope everyone has fun with this new one. Take care all and good luck – Jeannie

Robyn 11.03.09 at 8:35 pm

Boo-Hoo! :( I would LOVE to get this PBA but I just can’t play PayDay Free Cell or the Rainy Day one either. (I believe we’ve discussed this issue before my friends). I couldn’t do this week’s personal badge either. I can’t figure out what to do with those Kings and Aces! lol Anyway, I have several books with those “hangers” so I guess I have to pass on this one. Wahhhhhh!

Rock 11.03.09 at 8:59 pm

Robyn #20
On freecell, If you conentrate on the rows that has the aces, First and foremost to free them, then freecell should not be a problem, I win maybe 98 out of 100 freeing the aces first.
On rainy day spider, the (EASY) mode should be no problem, you can also try when you uncover a face down card and it dont play, click the (UNDO) and pick another stack that gives you a good play for a sequence of plays.

22

nessa 11.03.09 at 9:17 pm

Not think I’m going to buy this PBA, World Class Sol, First Class Sol and Payday Freecell are some of the games that I just hate. Eventually if it goes on sale one day I may buy it, I can’t even finish the Solitaire Playland PBA I bought long ago lol and now another solitaire games album? :(
Anyway good luck to all of you who just got it, have fun.

23

Kay 11.03.09 at 9:37 pm

Thanks mom for posting the rainyday it made no sense what so ever to me the way it is stated in album.

24

Cathy 11.03.09 at 10:34 pm

Will #12….TYVM for letting us know that the Solitaire album is 1/2 price! I plan to buy that along with the new album.

25

evanka11 11.04.09 at 7:04 am

thanks Will!

just bought the 1/2 off album also …

I wish they would put more on sale, and more often too.

26

Dave 11.04.09 at 8:37 am

Food for thought,
Just a side note to those that wants to wait for an album to go on sale at 50% off.
when you purchase Gems lets say 350 for 19.99 thats a little over .057 cents each, if you purchase a $5.99 album with 86 gems it cost you $4.91 and when you wait on it to go on sale for 50% off that will be $3.00. so is the wait worth $1.91 a yr or so down the road??

27

carol 11.04.09 at 10:24 am

robyn, i will be glad to do your rainy day and free cell for you anytime you want. also for any of you that bought the album with bridge in it, i will assist you with that badge. i know many of you don’t play it, and bridge players get very irritated at people sitting down that don’t understand the game. just add me to your friends list and contact me. cctax_ glad to help anyone.

Dave, i’d say it certainly is always worth it to save almost 2 bucks —

– the pleasure of accomplishment is exactly the same whether you’re buying an album when it first comes out — or later.
– just like with other purchases, full price is usually too high — and padded so sellers can profit — for the product being sold, and most products will be on sale eventually. We’re all trained to wait for and to buy things on sale in real life — why should this be different?
– the economy stinks — 2 bucks matters a lot to many of us — every penny does, nowadays.

For me, buying the old solitaire album at 1/2 price instead of the new one is just like me buying 1/2 price halloween candy the day after — the holiday makes me think of candy, and want it — like the announcement of the new album made me want that — but i know that waiting pays off in multiple ways.

Hello everyone. I finished this album today and I have to say, I really enjoyed it (maybe b/c I am a solitaire freak, lol)I just love solitaire games, which I am so good at. This album reminds me alot of Solitaire Playland (which I also did).Good luck to those doing this album.

cat3127 11.04.09 at 9:27 pm

hi everyone. didnt buy album yet. but did buy the thanksgiving day badge thats out

31

Sheljin 11.06.09 at 2:29 pm

I love most solitaire games, but hate hate hate freecell, and really can only do RDS on easy. So, I would love to get both these albums, but – I guess in the long run – they arent worth it to sit thru that many freecell games….especially since Pogo LOVES weekly freecell games and I get enough then. *sigh*

ss U dont enjoy free cell-I think about my first experience with it and it takes me back to one of the old extinct dinosaurs that had like 6 games that came free. I remember my frustration and anger upon playing it. I vowed I would never get it. But, I had so little on the computer (and no internet) that slowly I played it…I cant remeber when it became easier, but, I know it did. I think one of the key points was when i realized i needed to take it where it was…meaning if it was a black 8, i would look for a red 7. The aces of course are freed up and stacked. But, I no longer tried to concentrate on the Kings and the Aces, but took it as it came…dont know if this helps you or not…and u can think about it, as this album will be available awhile before it is on sale or retired.
As for RDS, just play on easy (one suit) and practice till it becomes easy to solve, then try medium (my fav) with 2 suits–I still have probs with hard–4 suits, so cant help ya there…but, it DOES get easier with practice and there are enough power-ups to solve each and every game if easy can be the playing level-snd the undo button is very user friendly too. Try it again if this becomes important to you.
