Seljin – I do both sides of TP and CC because (1) I adore both games, (2) I get more tokies for mini mall shopping, and (3) to rank up faster [especially in CC].

I also wish Pogo would come up with a personal marathon week, or even a day or two, where you could get as many badges as you wanted. I joined toward the end of the year in 2005 and I have a ton of badges to catch up on (did not play the weekly challenges in the beginning). This would be a wonderful idea on their part but heaven only knows we will probably never see it happen.

Sheljin: if I had all of the time in the world I’d do whatever anyone asked on this site. But since I don’t…

I’ve been collecting the tips from various weekend threads and all of the emails I get to add them to the ranks pages. It’s just boring and tedious (and a lot of them need to be re-written for clarity) and I just haven’t finished. Even if I did have them up, there’d still be games that didn’t have tips listed. That’s because the pages have existed for MAYBE a month and people are still going to find the pages and submit their tips (especially if there are none). So give it time.

In the meantime, you guys can always use the search engine. A little creativity there will go a long way. For example, typing squelchies tip into the search box over there -> gets you on the first result a page with tons of comments that include tips.

Also, yeah, I was aware of the Bingo Night and Tips For Tokens promotions – but I meant besides those. Maybe we’ll have more by the beginning of next month.

Thanks for the heads-up, Carolyn. I guess that means we have to wait one hour later. Well, it’s no biggie.

Thanks for the info, Pat. I’m pretty close to being done, anyway. At the rate I’ve been going, I might even be able to finish tomorrow. Then I can finally concentrate on playing other Pogo games that I enjoy.

I probably won’t even bother with Jigsaw Detective – since the token payout isn’t very high, the puzzles are repetitive, and you don’t really have ranks. I’ll probably play them from time to time.

Well, this has been a very interesting discussion – and thank you very much for your hard work, Lura. I do very much appreciate it. This is my favourite Pogo fan site, by far.

I peeked at the forums once – found a poll of some sort, don’t even remember what it was for tho at the moment. They were really uninspiring. I did read Pogo Bret’s “do’s and don’ts” – perhaps they should at least require people to pretend to read that before they post.

Richard with the tee-shirt idea – great idea, I think! What a shame Pogo doesn’t try to use their customer base in a GOOD way. And Mamabear, glad someone agrees with me that it would be nice of something were done about the non-Friends following you around. Sometimes, it is just a kind of compliment – other times, not so much.

Lura – adding my two cents to the possibility of an All-Tips page of some sort. I hear you about having the tips on the games’ page, but alot of the games have no tips listed (not a complaint! just an observation) and I bet there are all sorts of little tips out there that people wouldn’t even think of posting to the games pages but that a question from someone else might remind them of a little something that helped them. Just my two cents.
