Pogo has released a new course in Mini Golf Madness called “Creature Feature”. This is the October-themed course (it’s described as “Creepy, kooky, mysterious, spooky, and all-together ooky!”) and is rated a Hard difficulty level.
If you need some help on this course, HomelessDog has submitted some hole-in-one screenshots!
FYI: The badge album doesn’t show the course badge for this one yet. Is it even available? Will it be? Only time will tell.

Yes, Lura is right. The badge doesn’t appear yet. I just finished the course under par for both the front & back 9 and it didn’t show up =(. Lura I’ll let you know if it shows up anytime soon.
Btw I contacted Pogo support and I’m awaiting an answer from them regarding this.

I still think Astro Blast was the hardest course yet its marked medium. That one took me forever and Creature Feature is marked as hard and I got it like the third or fourth try. I’m just not that good LMAO

I really liked this course. It was time for a new course thats forsure…..Im sure eventually the badge will appear.

I just checked the badge award book and the new badge still does not appear. I think I will wait until it shows up before attempting this badge. I just dont feel like dealing with the help desk for mini golf badges at this time. But, I do enjoy playing for the badges.

Well I played it and got under par (-9) and my star was there, and I reloaded the page and the star was missing so I emailed pogo and the one who emailed me back said that there were no badges…. but hard saying, maybe she just didnt know what she was talking about cuz no matter how many times I told them that it was a standard course and not a weekly one, they still thought it was a weekly I was talking about. I had to explain to her that it was under the same tab as the other standards and she said there were only 4 to be won and that was not one of them. (Not including the special ones, rank ones). But who knows maybe Pogo has a glitch there and well see em yet.

I finally won the new course Creature Features and didnt get a badge either. I Live Chatted with Antonio and he said that so far there is no badge for it. So I emailed a letter to the editor asking why? Think I will get a response?LOL…Doubt it. But eveyone should write and force the issue.

I tryed to play Creature Features but it never loaded for me.I went out and come back in the corse loaded but no ball.Oh well pogo will fix it maybe.

There will be a total of 19 badges you can earn in this game: five ranks, 12 courses, and 2 specials. Below is a link to all of the badges that were created. The first four course badges are available, and the game’s developer said on release night that there’d be a new course/badge released each month.

Yeah, just spoke to a rep over Live Chat and she said there isn’t a badge for Creature Features. If there was a badge and you completed the course with a Par/Better there will be a Star by it. So yeah…maybe not now but in the future?

I am experiencing the same problems as everyone else, and I got it in my 4th try. Another site says there are 12 badges to be won, could it be a mistake? I counted 11. Going to email Pogo Support to find out what is up with completing Creature Features with a Par or Better and no badge. :(

well I really hope there will be a badge for this new course otherwise I’m not even going to try to complete it under par, I just gave it my first try and I end up +8 lol I’m really bad at this game plus I hate it, is sooooo boring !! so if no badge not worth it

Got 6 under par on the first try so at least when they do add the badge I know it will be an easy one to get. The moving hole on one hole is a nice new addition.

I *love* this new course. Sure, it would be nice to have a badge attached to it, and I hope eventually it will. But, seriously! This is a gorgeous piece of work from Pogo. The holes are so creative and it is great to have new ones to try out. Bravo, Pogo! (I did get it under par my first time (was stunned!) but forgot to see if I got a star next to it. Definitely no star there now, though.)

Someone asked in the weekend thread if anyone would be posting more Hole-In-One Screenshots, so I did take more screenshots as I was playing through this course and will send them to Lura later tonight.
If you’re trying to recreate a Hole-In-One off of a screenshot pay attention to both the position of my mouse and location of the end of the arrow.

I love this new course too. It’s sure is a challenge. I did’nt get my star on the 1st go round, and had to work to get it on the 2nd.

i haven’t checked out the course yet (here at BH before pogo, as usual, lol), but my thought on this is that if there’s no badge already created for this course as posted on main page…i doubt they would create one post-release of a course. hopefully, they just have a few up their sleeves that they didn’t release to you lura. gla

widow: I never said there wasn’t a badge created. There were only four courses released at launch (which each had a course badge) and there were 12 course badges created originally. That still leaves 8 that could potentially be used for this course and the game’s developer said they’d release one new course and course badge each month. (I put a link in a previous comment to a post from a while ago that showed all of the pre-created badges.)

I’ve really having fun with this new course. It’s cool, has great graphics, challenging, cute characters, and a few surprises thrown in that I hadn’t seen in the other courses. Doesn’t matter to me whether there is a badge or not, I’m just enjoying it.

widow: for what it’s worth, I know very little about this game as well. I just know what we were told and what graphics I’d seen. As I’ve said in other comments across the site, I don’t enjoy this game nor do I play it. It’s really odd, though, because ten or twelve years ago I absolutely loved a game called Sierra Mini Golf Deluxe. It was a fantastically neat game and each hole had a special hole-in-one shot (which many of the holes in this one seem to have). Oh well, anyway, sorry if I made you feel bad for commenting, I never meant to do that!

Anyone having any trouble with the new course today? I got a message from a friend that said it was no longer on his standard list. I went into two rooms and it was still on my list, but people in those rooms were also talking about it not being on their list. Some had it, some didn’t. My friend also said he had the Oct 20 weekly course already too and had played it a few times, but that course is not on my list. Sounds like some Pogo glitches in this game today!
Katmouse #24 – I was thinking the same thing, though the #2 badge on the first line also seems to have the same little monster on the golf ball.

I think there may be a gliche in the game. One time you go in and creature feature course is there and the next time you go in it may not be there. I’ve had that happen twice today. So not only is there not a badge yet, it seems that particular course is playing hide and seek with us–lol

Shygram #18 I too have finished Creature Features under par ..twice.
Both times got the star beside the course name but , when I came back into the site…poof …stars were gone.

I also have been enjoying the new course on Mini Golf. Each time I finish the course I get the star next to the course name. Leave the game and come back and it’s gone. I also got a double eagle and it’s also gone.
This is taken from the “How to Play Mini Golf Madness” it is the last paragraph from the “ranks and badges”.
“You can also earn special “Course” badges by completing each Standard course in the game at or below Par. A special “star” icon will appear to the left of any course name where the Course badge has been earned.”
Maybe we will get our badges in the next few days. Or we can just be happy to get a new course.

i played mini golf in the creature feature all weekend and this monday morning,with no problems,and also got the star,this evening i wanted to play it ,and low and behold-its gone.

Okay, not only does the “hiccup” announcement have a bunch of mistakes of its own, now the October 20th course is there and Creature Feature is gone completely – no one seems to have it. (I am writing this at 4:00 a.m. Eastern) So, as of now, there is no new standard course to get the badge that was going to be available “tomorrow.” lol And, the weekly badge, as we all already knew, did not give a badge just now either, even tho it is “tomorrow.”
I am starting to wonder if they wanted to release the Creature Feature course when they first did because both the October 13 & October 20 weekly courses incorporate new holes from it, but didn’t realize the new badge wasn’t ready? The weeklies use holes from the Standards – would have been strange to release these latest weeklies with holes from a course that no one had seen yet?
Also, of the initial four standard courses, there are no longer any with the “hard” designation – one “easy”, the other three “medium.”

Good Morning everyone. I had the same problem as Sam (#43) and he was given the right information. I went out of the room and came back with no luck. After I cleaned my cache (disk scan), I got the new course. I hope this helps.

wow I got it on my second try and with -11….thats kind of a record for me cause Im really bad at this game but guess it wasnt that hard after all….thanks to Homelessdog for the hole-in-one screenshots even if I couldnt make it for the crab man hole but I managed to get it in 2 shots. call me stupid whatever but when i go in the game ,how do i start it do i press warm up ,then front9 or what do i do that my problem im trying to read all these hints here and dont understand anything.,but i would like to know what or how you start this game in order to get the badges you are talking about,i ask in rooms ND THEY DONT SEEM TO KNOW OR JUST DONT WANT TO HELP sorry for caps any help would be appreciated

Laura, I pick the course and then choose ‘full course’ so that I am playing for the badge associated with that course, as you cannot win the badges playing ‘front 9′ or ‘back 9′ although those parts of the courses will let you practice and rank up. And personally, I always start with the Warm Up course as it is both easiest and most comfortable for me and a good warm up to playing mini-golf. Hope this helps!

Good Morning, Boy I guess I am really bad at golf!! I have tried the screenshots and the description of each hole, I have played for hours on end and still can’t get the badge. what have i to do for a double eagle ? i just could get hole 9 of creatur feature in one hole and 4 is par, so 3 under and that means normally a double eagle. but not shown up on stats. i also could run two times an eagle in row as hole in one on a par 3. also didn t count. im lost.
anyone who has a double eagle on his stats already ? and how did you get it ?

Kudos to Helen and Homeless Dog, I finally got the Creature Feature badge. Just wished there were more tips on the other courses. I know you guys are busy, but all help is appreciated. They rank these courses medium, but some of these holes are crazy. lol I guess thats what Pogo wants.
Thank you Lura for all your help with Trivial Pursuit 20 and Crossword Cove. I am rank 49 in TP and can’t wait to reach 50, only have 5 more weeks to do for that. Don’t think I will ever play that game again, unless its for another badge. If I had known Crossword Cove had the UK when I caught onto your sight, I would have been further along.
