Judy: the new page was for non-Club members. Just click “Sign Out” at the top of the Pogo page and you’ll see the changes. The Club Pogo page will be getting a similar redesign early next year.

Thanks so much to Pat (#196), Faith (#200), and Sheljin (#203) for the very informative and helpful info about addiction solitaire. And Lura, thank you for creating such a wonderful community where pogo players can come together and share our love for badges, minis, and all things pogo. I think Pogo might have some competition for my attention now. I just looked at the clock and I was so immersed in exploring your site that I forgot the time. :)

I usually only see the drama about black outs in EWB in the passing rooms.

They get quite upset that you would dare use a wild to get a regular bingo (not one that passes a wild to someone).

So I just go with the flow. If I’m in a passing room, I do my best to pass wilds. But since I usually only play a game or two at a time, I will use the wilds on a regular bingo if I can’t make a bingo that has a wild to pass. In any other room (that isn’t a passing room) I play how ever I want with no thought to how many wilds I passing or anything.

In regards to Everyone Whines in Bingo – and it’s strictly my opinion only – but Pogo could control that game if it wanted to. They have the ability to threaten to shut the game down for a while until people play nice, take away some rooms so it’s harder to get into a game, and on and on. But Pogo has chosen to stay out of the mess and respond every once in a while to a couple letters to the editor here and there. And their wonderful Miss Don’t Forget to Mute Everyone Under Any Circumstance Netiquette uses her canned, Mute ‘Em Danno, speech every time someone complains about the obnoxious behavior by some (certainly by no means all) games. I go into EWB and play according to what badge/challenge I’m working on and that’s that. I pay the same amount for my annual subscription as everyone else.

Indy is now stepping down off her soapbox and she’s going back to her little corner in Badge Hungry.

I truly was hoping that when I finished that 25,000 passing badge that I would never have to hear any more about this debate again. I have VERY strong feelings about this issue, but out of respect for Lura & her site, I am keeping them to myself. Suffice it to say, I blame Pogo for ruining a perfectly good bingo game by releasing that 25,000 passing badge. Without it there would have been no drama.

Regarding Everyone Wins Bingo black/out issues. Don’t you find
it ironic that drama players insist black/outs are a no-no…if so, then why
does Pogo have at least 2 badges that I am aware of, that calls for black/outs
in order to earn the badges…? Toss that tidbit in chat whenever you see
players attacking innocent players for having the audacity to black out cards!
Who changed the rules how to play bingo anyway…ever since I was a kid…getting a b/o first was a feather in one’s cap.

Thanks Lura, for previous contacts regarding website loading issues…no problems since.
Great site…a real pleasure to check in few times a day to keep up news/tips and comments regarding Pogo games.
