We weren’t kidding when we said Pogo’s graphic artists have been busy busy busy making items for our minis! Here’s a gigantic sneak peek of some upcoming mini awards we’ll be able to earn in-game.
Mini Award Backgrounds for: Stellar Sweeper, Squelchies, Harvest Mania, Word Search Daily, Casino Island Blackjack, Pinochle, Dice Derby, Wonderland Memories, Word Jong, and Phlinx(?).
And here are some items of clothing (there are both male and female versions of these, but the female versions are shown below):
Mini Award Goodies for (possibly): Shuffle Bump, Quick Quack, Squelchies, Pop Fu, Phlinx, Bloop, Battle Phlinx, Harvest Mania, Word Search Daily, Word Whomp, Stellar Sweeper, Poppa Zoppa, Casino Island Blackjack, Perfect Pair Solitaire, Makeover Madness, Dice Derby, Wonderland Memories, Word Jong, Greenback Bayou and more!
These items weren’t named by the games they are associated with, so we’re just making guesses as to what item may be awarded in what game. We’re also not really sure what game the music stand and cello go with (Or is it a violin? Musicians, help us out here?) Some of these could also be for future games that haven’t been released and developed yet. What do you think? Leave your comments below.

Maybe the music stand and the violin/cello is for Pinochle since the game uses musicial notes for scoreing. I can’t wait for some of this items to come out.

Are there ranks for Dice Derby? How will they award that? Sorry I don’t play that one much.

I concur. The cello (I played it for 9 years), and the music stand could very well be pinochle. Also on another note, just wanted to say that Bret on facebook posted that something cool was going to show up on pogo tomorrow. Any ideas??
P.S. the tree and lantern look like it could be pop fu. Long time since anything’s been talked about in THAT game.

Hi all,
I know one thing–CAN’T WAIT TO GET THEM ALL!! It’s about time we get some Mini Awards for these games!
Example: Phlinx, even just one or two things is more than we had before — this a much overlooked game until there’s a badge. Then the rooms are packed for days afterwards, lol Seems like when players are pointed towards it because of a Weekly Challenge, they discover they really DO like this game, lol This has happened both times with the two badges Pogo put up so close together. :)
Obviously ok with me, lol Will be anxiously awaiting more for this game. Almost ranked out, yaaayyy!
Though I don’t play Dice Derby alot, I LOVE that background…thinking of all the possiblities with that one, lol Love the races!
I like that Pogo is recognizing some of the anchor games with Mini Awards…way overdue in my opinion. WTG Pogo!!

I love all these new things to look forward to though my only hope is that I have to actually earn them this time and not just go and collect them…..lol
I got pretty much all the last mini items immediately because of the low ranks they were awarded to.
Don’t get me wrong….I’m all for free stuff but sometimes I like the challenge of earning it and the small thrill I get when that window pops up to say I have won a mini item….lol lol

Shelly if a game doesnt have any mini awards you can bet youll be picking them up providing they have ranks as im guessing they are working lower to higher and not the other way around

Oops, I’d posted the last row of Mini Award goodies as a separate post asking people to chime in with what they thought they’d be for. However, I thought they could have been for Flower Daze, but it looks like I jumped the gun and completely FORGOT about that stupid, stupid Greenback Bayou game. So I’ve just added the image on to this post and removed the other. Oops! :)
With that said, that makes two games (Greenback Bayou and Dice Derby) that appear to be getting mini awards that don’t currently have ranks. Puzzling.

Lol I was trying to post a message saying something about the flies for Greenback Bayou and I just couln´t and when I clicked Home again the post was no longer there lol. This is what it said “Of course they fit in pre-existing games…..the Green “thing” is just the one you can see at the left when you play Bloop and the flies are just the same you have to jump in Greenback Bayou (the common fly and the firefly to get to the bonus round) but … there are no ranks in Greenback Bayou (?) ”
And Lura…thanks so very much for the passes to Club Pogo from last Weekend Thread, couldn´t believe it when I got your e-mail saying Congrats, in fact I still can believe I actually won, wow, thanks again.

my guesses are, the broken egg in the nest -poppa zoppa? table with fortune cookies and bonsai temple – word jong, and for the ducks and star on top row – quick quack and squelchies for the star maybe? . magnifying glass and little green man humm? guess well have 2 wait and see. sorry for a side note, but i just won some coke rewards points from mcdonalds monopoly and that pushed me over 550 coke points so i ended up getting a free year of pogo for drinking coke and eating mcdonalds, lol heres to my bigger buns

Hi All,
Been looking at these Mini Awards off and on all day…totally agree with alot of the posters and their ideas. Another discovery or guess, is some of these awards belong to Shuffle Bump, ick!! NOT a great fan of that game, ick, ick again. (sorry to Shuffle Bump fans everywhere)
I STILL can’t guess anything about the “green, commode-shaped thing with the big eyes”, lol Any idea what game it matches up with?? It’s really strange looking, lol No one has mentioned it, as far as I’ve read anyway. Have I missed it?
I don’t recall anything like that in any game I’ve played, lol What am I missing here? ROFL Gotta go check it out if someone would point me in the right direction please? DO TELL!!

I think its cello, because violins usually have that rest piece for your neck. Im so giddy for mini awards. Sometimes I enjoy those more than the Game awards badges for the games, hehe. Id definitely be willing to give some other games a chance if I know a mini award is available. Playing to Rank 10 on a new and unexperienced game is a bit intimidating.

I wouldn’t know as I won’t play that game ANYMORE!! Well, won’t, unless it’s set as challenge for a particular week, even then I’d have to give it some SERIOUS thought.
I will admit to playing– either for a Weekly or in a PBA to get a badge, just can’t remember which it was….but do know what a nightmare it was!! Got the badge, but did NOT come out unscathed!! lol
Pogo CAN KEEP that ugly thing!! hahaha Won’t catch me playing that game again, “hiding under MY desk” as I say that! :) We ALL know I will play if it’s a Weekly Badge, lol

I really hope that Pogo isn’t going to add ranks to Greenback Bayou. While I am glad that they are paying some attention to their older core games that are alot of fun, I can think of other games more deserving of minis than Greenback Bayou! Dice Derby gets old too. I can’t imagine the rank qualifications for those to games. O, well, just grin and bear it, while trying to have fun earning rank badge and minis.

Just a note on the games that don’t have ranks and the questions about the mini items. In Pogo Addiction there are mini items available as well but u have to win them in the bonus game and they awarded randomly. Perhaps this will be the idea with Dice Derby and Greenback?

To Irishroseply: I was getting my minis in gameplay in some games, but I too wondered about those games i had maxed out in. While looking for the event calendar, I saw a peculiar tab. It is on the Home Page, far left column, almost to the bottom, under THE BUZZ. It says Get Your Mini Awards Today. Within this section are minis you have won that may have to be unlocked to be sent to your closet. There I found ones that I had already won, but, had not been awarded. Is a good place to see if you have minis left to add to your collection.

Some of these Mini items actually do look pretty interesting, and will definitely be worth winning. My favourite include the starfish (Squelchies), the stones (Phlinx), and the diamond (Stellar Sweeper).
