yes the fortune bingo one will not be the one i would pick as “fun” but it could be sooo much worse. I will prob room jump a lot to hopefully get it done alittle faster. I have not played squelchies forever and am glad to see they r bringing back an old game as a challenge. Gl to all with this weeks challenges

On Fortune Bingo…you can play 6 card blackout in speedy rooms and get the badge quicker. HAGD!!!!

Im actually looking forward to Fortune Bingo… its the Squelchies I dread. For some reason, the noises they make annoy me, so I usually play it muted with my Last.fm station playing in the background. Thats the best tip I have for making that game go faster… tune it out! My mom had surgery yesterday and I agreed to do her badges for this week, too. Ugh. Mom, Im doing Squelchies for you… thats LOVE.

Thanks for the tip, SPORT, as I usually do the one card or three card rooms. The bingo lady gets on my nerves with her voice, so I will have to mute the old laptop today :)

Wasnt that bad. Room hopped in speedy Blackouts averaged 60#s a jump. Squelchies was easy to not sure what else I can offer that wasnt already said. Just takes some time is all and nothing more.
kathy 09.30.09 at 12:25 pm
i play speedy rooms for fortune bingo blackout 3 cards 6 blackout is good
squelchies play till jackspot spin and hit new game its easier that way
the badges are easy compared to last week enjoy the last date of sept 2009.

For both games, mute the sound!
Room jump on bingo, it speeds things up a bit for this type of badge.
Play on easy for squelchies. With the sound off, I find that game is kind of soothing. Could be all the falling squelchies make my eyes blur and want to take a nap :)

Love bingo games, so that one was my fav, and played 6 cards and got it fairly quick, little over an hour, squelchies is NOT one of my favs, but played on easy and that was just over an hour also. I found that once I got to round 4 or 5, I just left and went to a new room and started from round 1 again, lol, as I think the rounds get harder and faster as you go along. But now, I have to do my brothers (both of them) soooo, oh well, Im a good sister, lol. Have a good week everyone!!!

For Fortune Bingo, if you play in a blackout room, dont expect people to share because it wont happen! Its called bingo for a reason, lol.
For Squelchies, the higher the round, the faster they move. So dont be afraid to hit new game.
Good luck, fellow badge hunters!

Remember to change the level to “easy” on squelchies. There were some people that had their level set on “beginner” and were not getting credit.
Happy badge day everyone!!

Am I missing something or do the daubs for previous numbers not light up in FB like they do in all the other bingos? I entered a room halfway and had a hard time catching up without those “hints.” Thanks for the help!
(On the other hand, I left that room after only 2 games, it was EWB all over again in a new room. Do people have anything better to do than yell at other players who don’t play by their made up rules? They were seriously chewing out someone in that room.)
Ann 09.30.09 at 2:22 pm
in squelchies you don’t have to change rooms to start over at round 1. Just hit new game and it goes back to round 1.
John 09.30.09 at 2:36 pm
IN 6 card for bingo it varys. some games you dont get much others you get loads. earlier i got 100 in one game
On squelchies play on the level you feel most comfortable at. (except beginer)
also on the squelchies badge it says easy difficulty level or higher tokens lol

Hey guys, first time commenting here, though I visit the site quite frequently. Thought I’d put some feedback on these two challenges this week.
Squelchies – play easy and you should get through it pretty quickly. Also, as you advance in rounds, it takes a bit longer so what I did is after 2 or 3 rounds I went to another room and so it wouldn’t take as long.
Fortune Bingo – For people who don’t like this game, I went to fast room and went to blackout. Then I would fill out all my bubbles and check back 5-7 minutes after each game and repeat. That way, you won’t have to sit and wait for the numbers. Though you will ‘lose’ some tokens for clicking on some incorrect numbers, it will seem the badge will be much easier and shorter to get if you have other tasks to do.
I hope this helps.

I played Bingo 3 card blackout. Go into room that has alot of the numbers already called. Go card by card and daub them off. Check for the jackpot spin right away. Then start checking numbers off. I got alot of spins this way and lots of numbers at a time. Then go to another room that has alot of the numbers already called.Goes much quicker this way.
MomsBassetHound 09.30.09 at 3:41 pm
For Gecko # 12 – The only way to check the numbers called is to look at the board. They do not highlight like the other bingo games.
I have to admit that there wasn’t 1 nasty word said in the bingo room I was in and people were calling bingo as soon as they got it, the way the game should be played.

Adding to what MomsBassetHound said — you can always just to click each number on your card. Just beware you’ll have marked incorrect numbers at the end of the round and you’ll have to take the deduction for those uncalled numbers.
kiki 09.30.09 at 4:00 pm
binFo went pretty quickly–34 minutes, and i didn’t room hop or share. if you can’t stomach the Pogo StormTroopers who love to tell people how to play their games, i highly recommend waiting till later in the challenge week; there will beaucoup empty rooms and you can blackout all by yourself.
Cheryl5000 09.30.09 at 4:14 pm
Squelchies (not a big fan) – I played on easy and as soon as I got the jackpot spin I changed rooms which means I was playing Round 1 for every game which is the easiest round. Doing it this way I got the badge very quickly.
Bingo – I use the blackout rooms as you get more numbers quicker.
It’s cold here in Massachusetts today – not looking forward to the cold season. Oh well I guess I have to expect it since I live in New England.
Good Luck All and thank you Lura for this wonderful site.
fier666 09.30.09 at 5:04 pm
Squelchies you dont have to change rooms just hit new game that way you dont have to waste time switching rooms
Gecko 09.30.09 at 7:50 pm
Thanks MomsBassetHound & Lura, I forgot that it is only a few lost tokens for incorrect dubs – might as well dub away and watch TV! This is why this site is so awesome, thank you as always Lura for the great forums here!

This weeks challenges were not too bad. I find playing with my best friend helps. The bingo rooms we went too were fun, everyone was having a good time.
GL all with challenges
Happy Gaming
shaz 09.30.09 at 11:19 pm
both challenges were nice and easy.pity bingo brought the worse out in people, unfortunately room i was in ( blackout ) people were bullying others to play their way by not hitting the gong straight away and they were very aggressive giving out these orders and several people disagreed with these bullies including myself.not e1 has chat on for starters and u shouldnt feel the need to do some thing just cause a few bullies ask u to do it.i rember these sorts of fights when bingo luau came out.i got fed up with it and turned chat of.

Am I missing something? I can’t find a 6 card blackout for fortune bingo, only 3 card comes up.
mmk 10.01.09 at 6:01 pm
Fortune Bingo was put out WAY before POGO started giving in to all the “cry babies” who basically wanted the games and/or badges handed to them on a platter.
So no, no lighted up previous called numbers. No shared rooms (by program.) No tons of people getting the Bingo.
Just do what many other people mentioned. Click all the numbers and then do something else for a few minutes. Room jump. (you don’t have to wait for ALL the numbers to be called from the very beginning.)
Cyrabi 10.01.09 at 7:17 pm
Hi everyone, good luck with the challenges. I just got the Fortune Bingo badge. Played in a 6 Card room and covered all the numbers as they were called even if they weren’t in the pattern. For Squelchies I played on Hard and used the power-ups, whirlpool, starfish, and blowfish.
Evelyn 10.01.09 at 9:20 pm
Paint? If you will look at the top of the room list, you’ll see *tabs*. These tabs will give you other room options for the different games.
BTW … MEGA THANKS to whoever suggested just clicking on all spaces for the cards, then going on about whatever. While playing bingo, I ironed 5 pair slacks, two shirts, finished packing and answered my email >grins<. A painless way to eary 3000 tokens for the bingo bagde.

Tip for this week:
Squelchies: In “easy” mode, if u click “new game” after ur 1st jp spin, the game will stay with only 5 colors instead of 6 colors on the next round. (It will remove ur progress toward the bonus game, but it will make the badge go faster.)
Fortune bingo: Look for a 6-card super speedy room with as few players as possible (the fewer players there are, the later bingo is called, and as a result, more balls will be called). Room hopping is also a good way to make this one go faster.
