My advice is to try to hold off playing GS for a bit – I was getting such bad room lag that my game clock would say I had 15 seconds or more left and it would suddenly switch to the results screen. Didn’t have this happen the last badge, but it is frustrating so heads up if you are trying Pogo is a bit overloaded this morning.

As with a lot of the Tumble Bees badges and rank progress you don’t have to do the bonus round, just use the (tiny) New Game button in the upper right hand corner after you get your 50 honey points.

Good morning!
Tumble Bees- Harder difficulties will take longer to fill your honey pot so the games will take longer to complete. I play on medium to earn more rank points but play on a level that makes you comfortable.
Golf Solitaire- Always play the bonus round if you have time. Sometimes it gives you a -1 stroke that may help you reach par.
Good luck everyone and have fun!

try to play alone with like-minded friends in golf. if you have a course you prefer (and more importantly, courses you wish to avoid *coughhawaiicough*), you will be able to select it and achieve par quickly. i do best on Hidden Hollow myself.
bees is easy for me, but if you don’t care for the game, play on the easiest level you desire. and use lura’s hint above.
i also experienced gecko’s lag on golf, mostly with sound lags. if you can, i’d wait a day or two.

No problem lagging in golf sol.
Don’t close game utnil hole 5 is over – if you want to break leave your game up or you lose what you gained for that game…

Golf Solitaire: Super speedy rooms are the fastest way to get the badge. Posts 4 and 5 also have good tips.
Tumble bees: (You beat me to it Lura! lol ;) ) Also, if you’re close to getting the buzz word, go for it; it will change all the letters to green, which will give you more honey.

Tumble Bees is one of my least favorite games but I did manage to get the badge after what seemed like forever. I wish I read your tip sooner Lura as the bonus round seems to take too long.
Golf solitaire is a game I enjoy and getting that badge took a little while but not as long as it took to get Tumble Bees

In Tumble bees you can right click instead of submit, this helps if you have a lot of letters and need to get rid of them.

I have had some trouble in Golf Solitaire, with getting a score of “capped at +5″ when I have cleared all the cards and earned a perfect game. Anyone else getting this? It’s happened several times now — let’s just say it’s a deterrent to wanting to complete this badge! I had never played this game before. Seems fun and easy enough, if it would score correctly.

another good tip for tumble bees is if u get the buzz word wait for the letters to fill up a little bit (however high u feel comfortable with) before u hit enter so u will get a lot more green bonus letters
gl everyone !

Debbie: I havent ever had that issue before. Maybe it has to do with your computer? Sorry, Im not much help on that.
I find both of the badges simple, if a bit time consuming. I like them both though, so I do not mind. I actually like that I cannot get them in 5 minutes!

Debbie — you need to get – 5 or what ever it shows par to be to ‘make’ par and get the score you need to win this badge…the lower is the better score + means (+3 ) you needed 3 more before you made par…I think! lol I’m already ranked out in that but if I remember right that’s the way it is.
Don’t forget to hit end game when you are out of cards — sometimes you’ll get a -1 card. Good luck!

I enjoy the word games so Tumble Bees is easy for me. I’ll also be working on A Mix & Match badge while doing Tumble Bees. Lura’s tip will get you through it the fastest.
For Golf I found that for me is to look for an empty room and play alone on speedy.
Check the list Lura has for upcoming games and purchase any Mix & Match when they go on sale and you can do 2 badges at once. Thsi will be really handy for the upcoming badge count for the special Pogo badge.
Actually right now I’d play any game. My laptop “gave up the ghost” and I won’t get a new one until tomorrow!!! Yes, After 4 days with no PC I am having withdrawl twitches. I’m using one at a friends house to check email and all the important sites – Like Badge Hungry. She doesn’t have a mouse so no Pogo.

I had the same problem as Debbie, got clear card bonus and went to bonus round but said that I was capped out at +5. Sometimes I got credit for under par and sometimes not. I also had the lag time problem, clock showed time then it went to game over. Don’t know, but the rooms were all full today (Thursday) when it happened.

this weeks badges are pretty easy
Cyrabi 09.24.09 at 3:03 pm
For Tumble Bees play on Easy, you only need 50 points to fill the jar. If you can, spell the Buzz Word, it helps fill the jar. Use the special tiles to finish the game. The star tile can be used in place of any letter, the green tile gives you extra points, and the blue tile clears some space.
Fineski102 09.24.09 at 8:20 pm
In Tumble Bees, the new letters from the top always drop to the lowest spot on the board. So if you have a few letters toward the buzz word or a star tile, try to carve out a spot next to them or above them and the new tiles will fall there. If you do it right and get lucky you can sometimes get the buzz word 2 or 3 times in a round and the honey pot fills quicker..
