Weekly Challenges (September 9-15)

I like to relax while I play Crazy Cakes, so usually play on easy. It took less than 30 minutes. You serve 11 each day, so need to play 10 rounds on easy.

I was already in Poppit when the challenges started and got 5 wins in 20 minutes. At that rate its going to be a 6 hour badge….not hard, but time consuming.

Why couldnt they give us a triple personal challenge week to celebrate the anniversary?

Crazy Cakes – if you can do Level Hard (doesnt really matter if you get the spin or not, just do what you can) you will get at least 25 desserts in a game, making the badge a breeze.

Poppit on the other hand… I hate to be a complainer, but why the difficulty requirement? Ive never been good at the game nor liked it that much. 100 games seems a little overboard – challenge is good, that seems impossible to me! (And it doesnt help that the rooms are locking up from all the people… I think I may be in CC for the celebration tonight – I hope the servers can handle the traffic, they are doing a poor job right now!)

taken me 3 hrs to get 55/100 in poppit.tip for mahjong get 11 puzzles done b4 friday then when challenge starts u only have to do 1 to get badge.reasons poppit rooms filling up fast cause they want us to beat record with most players on line.

I think they made the Poppit badge a little more time consuming so that people, not knowing, will decide to wait and do that one ‘later’ when Pogo’s requested us to gather and help them break records. Much easier to dupe people into staying longer than just a few minutes if the badge will take most people a few hours to achieve.

Well the 100 games on poppit is kind of annoying. Might just decided to work on crazy cakes and my personal challange during their record breaking XD take that pogo!

Strategy for this week is simple: play the games the way you normally would (crazy cakes is easy, poppit is anything but lol). Also, make sure to get to the year of the boar puzzle of mahjong garden, but dont do it until the badge comes (so u only have to do one puzzle when it comes).

go to ur control panel- display, put it at 800×600 it gives u game at full screen, i have to do that for both mahjongs because of eye strain

Here are a couple of tips for poppit: keep clicking new game until…

1. You have both of the powerup stars on the screen, or

2. All of the prizes are below the third row of the screen (that makes them easier to reach).

I was told a really cool tip for poppit tonight. Start your game on level 1, when it comes up telling you that you won, BEFORE you click OK, click the arrow to change to level 2. It will ask if you want to end the current game, just click yes, you will still get your jackpot spin and will get the credit for playing on level 2.

This was a very easy badge to get …It only took me 10 minutes!!!

Here’s an easy way to get the Poppit badge.

If you have to win games on Skill Level 2, play the game on Skill Level 1 until you won the game. After you won the game (where the screen says “YOU WON”), change Skill Level to 2, then click yes, then ok. After the token count shows, make sure you remember to change game back to Skill Level 1. Repeat until you have the badge.

I totally agree with Dominque, 100 wins on level 2 seems a lil to much for a weekly badge compared with other challenges, very tricky and odd for pogo to set such a time consuming badge precisely the day they wanted to brake the record, they really wanted us to be playing poppit for hours lol, plus 10K reward for the badge and 10K if the record is broken?? dont they trust ppl will help w/o having to do all that?? i went to crazy cakes and my personal during the record lol, as Dominque said Take that pogo !!

here is an easy way to get the badge. play on level 1 then when all the prizes are at the bottom, click on level 2 just before you click on ok when spike talks to you. you will get credit for level 2.

Hi Everyone….

I’m pretty good at the game of Poppit and I’d like to know WHY I don’t get all of my tokens when I pop ALL of the balloons?? They short me ALOT…seems like most of the Bonus and more sometimes.

Anyone know? Even when I’m working on the Badge where you have to pop all of the balloons to earn the Badge they do this.

WHAT’S THE DEALl?? AM I SUPPOSED TO DUMB MYSELF DOWN FOR SOME REASON???

Thanks to everyone who gave the tip about changing from level 1 to level 2 at the end of the game. And thanks for the “undo” tip.

I really don’t care for Poppit even though I can usually win. I did the first 30 games on level 2 yesterday. This morning I did 15 games using the level 1/level 2 tip. And then I did the last 55 using the “undo” tip.

I can’t thank you enough for those tips. Now I can go play a game that I enjoy.

Ok so I admit to being dubious about the tip Mpbmorris gave because like Tigger I didn’t think you could hit undo once the spinner was in progress but as soon as I tried the tip I figured out why it works.

I played on level 2 and released all prizes. The screen came up to say I had won and to keep popping for extra tokens. I hit ok and kept popping and once all available balloons were gone the next screen came up to say I had won with the options of ok or undo.
At this point HIT NEW GAME. The spinner comes up and inbetween the actual spinner graphic and the ok button there is an extra button (that shouldn’t be there) that says undo move (you can only see the undo part of it) Hit that and it does indeed take you back to the last move you made. Keep doing that until you have your badge.

TY!!! TY!!! TY!!! Mbpmorris, that is one of the best tips ever. I played for hours last night, and only made it to 10. After using your tip this morning, I got the other 90 in about 5 minutes.

Are we going to get banned if we use any of this advice?

well hmmpphh i just tried it with the other tip and it didnt work lol, unless i have to wait til just b4 the spin, but then again i tried that too lol

May I add more good news to the fabulous Poppit tip written above (morris #29)…you will continue to earn tokens as well as make rank progress using this method, as POGO thinks you are just winning game after game. Thanks for making this badge a breeze!

Tigger, did you read my post #34? Soon as the spinner graphic comes up there should also be the ‘undo move’ button. Its inbetween the spinner graphic and the ‘ok’ button. It looks like its left over from the previous screen/speech bubble and shouldn’t really be there ( so should be in pretty much the same place as it was on the screen before, in the speech bubble)

I can take or leave the game but I really wasn’t looking forward to spending hours getting the badge. Glad to say that I have it and can now get on with my life.

For those of you having trouble getting it to work, I suggest you read post # 34 and follow it exactly. Thank you Shelly – I was having trouble doing things in the right order at the right time until I read your post.

Thank you Mbpmorris for the tip in Poppit. Worked great n I went from rank 14 to rank 30 in about 2 hours at level 3. About the same time it took most people to win 100 games. Also did the 4,000 prizes challenge at the same time in less thank 30 minutes.
