I’ve earned 10 badges in one day, finishing both the quickie casino & on the go albums…i guess its 11 with the album completion, and it brought be a boatload of tokens! lol

I earned 17 badges in 1 day and NEVER again will I do something so ridiculous,as I was almost blind by the 17th one….and a heap of tokies came with those.

When the book came out this week I started early and ran till late that night so I could finish it. We’re moving and I couldn’t stand the thought of it unfinished. The most badges in one day was 14 when my husband and I first started buying books. We were playing each badge together and seeing who would finish it first. I hate to admit it but we acted like kids pulling an all nighter and finally went to bed at 7 am. Whoops! Lol, thank goodness it was a weekend. :)

Pogogirl: thanks! I don’t consider myself to be very creative with the minis — I’m always getting hung up trying to find just the right items among all of the ones available in my vast closet. Sometimes it works out better to just use a few of the recent releases and see what I can come up with. This week’s creation happened pretty quickly this morning. It’s magical. *giggle*

It irks me that Pogo still says soon about everything. Over a year ago they said in the news section that they would be adding new ranks to Keno “soon”. I guess we can still wait for that “soon” to come.

Just yesterday i earned 6 badges — by far the most i’ve ever gotten in a day (the Twilight special, 2 Stellar Sweepers – wkly & game award, an easy Poppit personal wkly, and game awards in Wonderland Memories and Word Search Daily)

I suppose I’m the odd ball here. Call it OCD or whatever you like, but I don’t enjoy getting more than one badge per day. It drives me crazy when Pogo offers those limited badges, because I want them, but as soon as I complete enough badges to be awarded it…I’m given two badges at once.
If I already have my badge for the day, I will actually play around certain games when I suspect a rank badge may be coming up (though sometimes I accidentally still end up with two and that drives me nuts). I know it’s so silly. But silly or not, I have over 300 badges and most of them have the day all to themselves.

i’ve done 23 badges in one day lol. i was earning PBA and M&M badges at the same time during one of the marathon PC weeks. it actually didn’t take that long when i was tripling up on them.
i’m glad they didn’t release mini golf this week. they have enough issues to deal with right now fixing the games that aren’t working right. we all know that rushing a game for release just causes disaster!

I am totally stumped with the Stellar Sweeper challenge this week. I like to think I am fairly intelligent but I just cannot get a sense of how to accomplish this one. I’ve read the weekly thread with tips etc but it just doesn’t register. duh. Kinda embarrassing. Just wondering if i’m the only one.

This may or may not interest anyone but I thought I’d post it anyway.
Recently I sent this question to pogo support ->
Before I buy a Touch Screen CASINO ISLAND game, can you please tell me if I win the one million tokens and have that total transferred to my online account, can I start all over again with the
Touch Screen CASINO ISLAND game and go for the 2nd million, etc. etc.?
Or is one million tokens the maximum amount I can win thus making the game useless?
The pogo support answer was [after I had asked four times!]:
I understand you have requested information on a Pocket Pogo game.
Once you unlock all of the token amounts you will not be able to start over. You will have unlocked all of the tokens available
Bottom line: I will not buy their game because to me, it’s like buying tokens .. not worth the $20 for 1 million tokens.

I have earned 25 badges in one day before, that was when UK users where able to get gems, I went and bought all the opld M&M badges before they expired and worked through those, along with finishing off a couple of Premium Albums. Now I usually do 8 or so when going for the M&M’s each month along with the new jigsaw Detective Case. Am proud to call myself a Badge Addict, closing in on the 1500 mark lol

ok i need some serious help here !! i have a m&m from awhile back that i just cant get (i have 15 m&m albums and i bought this one in my 4th one……..if that tells u how old it is) LOL it is in super dominoes (Dominoe Delight Badge) i have to make 10 plays of 60 or more points!!! does anyone know a trick to getting 60 points in ONE play????? i have tried and tried and i just cant figure it out thanks in advance for any tips on this darn badge !!

“How many badges I’ve earned in one day” has never been a personal goal for me so I’ve never paid attention to that.
RV60 – the only way to go thru Stellar Sweeper is to right click every square, then unclick it and left click it. It’s a rather tedious process, but it works most of the time.
I think pogo should keep their new games “under wraps” until they just show up. I can’t believe all the griping over a new game not showing up when everybody thinks it should. Look at all the problems with CC that was obviously released too soon. I don’t understand how a game can go through beta testing without uncovering all the bugs to be fixed before a game is released. What am I saying??? Look at Windows…..

EdC: it’s just a way to get mobile users in the UK to ‘subscribe’ to get EA’s games on their phones on a regular basis. They don’t connect in any way to your Pogo account. It’s not related to the Pogo Mobile games that Pogo had in the US (through AT&T I think) a few years ago that awarded badges to your Club Pogo account. Unfortunately they canceled the games and support of the games and you can’t get them anymore.

Candi. you have a fantastic point about games being released to soon with all the bugs and problems unresolved. Also, I’m in total agreement with Windows, XP, and whatever the next gerneration OS that is forthcoming.
I’ve done some Word Whomp Whackdown badges this week and my question is, does anyone know what it takes to upgrade your zucchini grade. I’ve been zuccihinni grade 4 for a long time. Is it just me or does that just not sound right? Some agricultural lingo Pogo is using for ranks? Anyway I haven’t budged and I can’t figure out what it takes to get through the zucchinni grades.

back in 2007, i set up my own personal badge challenge marathon and got 33 badges in one day on june 15th. of these, 12 were in-game badges (including the final one for jungle gin) and 4 were jigsaws; the rest were weeklies and premiums (i seem to recall i planned for a time when pogo also had a personal marathon happening). it took just as much work to set it up so i’d GET those badges on one day as it did actually getting them! i nearly plotzed when i saw mr hellman playing word whomp: i had that game all set up for a badge. we’re still together, so i guess the thoughts racing through his head upon my hysteria didn’t include finding a good divorce lawyer and/or calling up the local mental health facilities.
i’ll never do it again, because shortly thereafter, someone i thought was a friend saw my badge album with all those badges having the same date and accused me of cheating. it was a lot of work and stress to set that all up, so i figured it just wasn’t worth it.

This week’s challenges were fairly simple and I finished them quickly: both under an hour.
I am going to start the Back To School PBA today; I have 2 other PBA to finish first…lol…..
The most badges I won in one day was 11; but they were hard badges so it took me awhile with them (premium and m&m at the same time), but a heap of tokens came with it…..lol……

Wasn’t crazy about this week’s challenges. Had no tips . . . I just chugged through them.
However, I discovered once you start buying Mix-and-Match badges . . . you can’t stop. And since I was doing those in games I ranked out, I figured might as well do the Premium Albums too.

20 in 1 day for me, so I guess I must not have a life right? Wrong, Bob! I have a method of working on ranks on other games to I’m close to a badge, then when I’m ready I get them all at once. I usually do this on Badge Day or when any of the Mix & Match/PBA come out to boost my badge total.

I’ve finished a badge book in a day so probably about 10 in a day. I am like that though, once i get a book there is a strong need within me to finish it as quickly as possible. I wanted to ask this yesterday but decided against it since it was off topic at the time. Did anyone hear about the woman who was trapped under her chimney that had fell through her roof and was saved by someone who was in a Canasta room with her, when they called the police to help her? It happened on Pogo and I thought it was a neat story.

I just had a thought…awhile back we had all these games, either good or bad, to look forward to. Now, we have battleship and risk, besides mini golf…that’s kind of depressing if you ask me.
Hopefully Pogo has some great games in the works, because the last couple of releases were less than stellar!

the other Jan- yes those zucchini ranks move at a snail’s pace. Not sure on the breakdown but I play on hard and it takes forever just to move up a few points.
Kiki- isn’t it a shame that some of us have to worry about people thinking we are cheating? Whether it be lots of tokens or badges, I think it boils down to people being envious of our achievements. I just ignore them and let them stew.

I have done 2 premium badge books in one day lol. ( but they were easy ones! ) Have not done that in a long time now. Im with ev1 else as far as wanting to get all the PBA’s and M&M’s, but after awhile I often find myself wondering why I do it. ( I couldve used that money now lol )

RV60 (11) – Stellar Sweeper is a logic driven game that unfortunately starts out with a lot of luck by having to click randomly and hoping to get a good opening of space. Once you get that space opened up, look for obvious patterns… a 1 on the corner of an inside point, a 232 (3 gems touching the 3) or 121 (gem, open, gem) along a straight edge. Once youve marked where these gems are by right clicking them, you can double click (left and right mouse buttons together) on the adjacent numbers that are btrue/b (i.e. the 2 in the 121 example above) and the game will open up all of that squares adjacent squares. Another hint, dont be afraid to use your scan early in the game to find openings, but try to save it when youre about 75% done with the puzzle. You most likely wont get another charge of it and you may need it on that last little area that says you have more than one gem to find (if its only 1, its obviously the one closest to both sides).
BTW, EdC – Congratulations on getting all of the thank yous on the double clicking hint. Funny, I posted just above you on that thread about the same thing but no one seemed to notice. LOL
Dawn (16) – To get the 60 and over badge in Super Dominoes youll need to try and manipulate the game so that you can score well on a x# hot spot. I managed to do it against the bots when the badge first came out, but if youre having trouble you can always ask a friend to help you out… just ask them to play their bones so that you have access to those squares.
The other Jan (20) – I tend to keep track of my rank progression on most games. In Word Whomp Whackdown it took me 78 games on hard to progress to zucchini rank 5. Just a note… I play on hard and I hit new game until I get a list of words that are more than half way down the second post, preferrably as close to two full posts as possible, and tend to get every word. Im not sure if the progression is based on letters or words, but I did notice early on that working shorter lists had me progressing quite a bit slower.

Word Whomp Whackdown – You have to go thru 20 levels of zucchini to get the Golden Carrot Badge – and it can only be earned on the hard level. I took that info from the Badge Addicts site. There may be another site that gives that info, but I always use BA for that kind of info.
Crossword Cove – Found another bug that works in our favor for a change. I had finished my puzzle and was waiting for 14 minutes to pass before I submitted it. I got involved in something else and forgot about it. When I got back to my computer the timer said 27 minutes when I hit submit. After that puzzle I did the UK one and was looking at my stats while I waited out the 14 minutes. My stats still say that I have completed EVERY puzzle UNDER 15 minutes. Looks like their is broke too :)
I have 1582 badges and I have no idea what the max was that Ive earned in 1 day, but know its over 10 b/c there have been many times that Ive completed all the badges in a PBA the same day. Of course now Im going to have to go look…..LOL

I have about 1500 badges. Yes I’m a junkie. I remember one weekend my mom ‘made’ me work on some of her unfinished badge books while she was on vacation. I pulled an all nighter and won over 13 badges that day. Craziness, I know, but Pogo does make me happy and it’s much cheaper than a night out on the town.

Lura – this is my first time sending in a comment. I love your site and appreciate all the help and tips I find on here. I also like that you try to keep everthing friendly while letting people vent and state their opinions. I am normally a quiet player on Pogo – I just like to play and avoid the drama. Recently I decided to go into one of the rooms for the amazing minis judging thinking it would be a hoot if I was chosen. It was crazy! People started immediately asking the judge to look at their mini, asking lots of technical questions about issues they were having and asking when Pogo was going to do this or that. It kind of took the fun out of it. Anyway, that’s my vent!
I think the most badges I got in one day is 12.
Can’t wait till Mini Golf comes out. Now that I am one of the many unemployed, I am a total Pogo addict!

Happy Weekend All!! ? of the week –> Badges earned in a day = 8.
BUT, I challenge myself in another way.
I work on earning a Badge a day — every day.
Whether the badges are Weekly Challenges, Rank/Game Award , M&M’s, Premiums, or Special Ed’s/Super Badges.
It seems a harder challenge, for me, to get a badge a day. It takes a lot of planning and self control not to go get that next ‘easy’ rank badge (ie: Downloaded games, Lottso/Mahjong Deluxe).
I have already accomplished this feat once (Nov 1 ’08 to Nov 1 ’09) and am now working on doing it a 2nd time (started Dec 31 ’09 — 4 months to go, lol).
I know it is silly, but I enjoy looking at “My Badges” and seeing a badge for every day of the year. The only time I get two badges in a day is with Premium or M&M book completion badges. I also did it once in Monopoly, a Premium Badge and the “Big Roller Badge (3 … double 6′s rolled in one turn). But of course, I was THRILLED to get that one!!
It keeps getting tougher as time goes on, especially since I joined back in 2005. It now takes longer to get Rank Badges & my pocketbook is feeling the strain of buying Premiums and M&M’s. Soon I will run out of old weekly challenges to earn.
Overall though, it has been a ton of fun & what a Challenge!!!

I have some ufinished books with only one badge left in each. After much deliberation, consideration and frustration I have decided to not pursue them for the sake of my sanity. This disappoints me because I don’t like looking at the numbers “19 of 20″ on the covers of my books. I was hoping that there might be a way to transfer the undone badges to another book so I only have one book that is not complete. I am referring to mix and match challenges with this question. There are some other stinkers in premium badges but not too many. Does anybody have any wisdom to share?

After taking a quick scan through my badges (a REAL quick scan, I have too many, lol) I think the most ive done in a day is 13… and that was on monday when the new premium album came out. There are a lot of times where I have gotten 4-5 in a day but there are just as many days where I havent gotten any!
Im sure that number would be higher if I bought MnM, but I rarely do.

Hey, is anyone still playing the scrabble subway game? I have been literally cleaning up in this game. It seems that if you play it during the wee hours of the am say between 1:30 am through 5:00 am, it is just win after win! (EST) no lie! I have so many 3 month subscription wins that if I can get an OK from Lura here, I may post these prize codes for ppl to claim (first come, first serve I guess) I have 5 years on my account already and really feel funny about applying any more. I will wait until I hear from Lura, I don’t want to get anyone in trouble.

Justlovin it: I’d recommend you steer clear of that, but it’s just my personal opinion. The sites that sell only these kind of games and claim to give them to you for $5 or some reduced cost work like this: you give them your $5 but a bunch of other people are also paying $5 for the same registration code. You cannot register the game in your own name, since they are buying one copy of the game and handing out their registration code which has registered who-knows-how-many other copies of games from people who bought their $5 deal just like you (there’s no limit on how many times one registration code can be used, but I think the rumor is that Oberon and Pogo claim that six is the max). It’s cheating the system, more or less.
barb: Someone else donated a bunch of their winning codes and at least one weekend in September I’ll be running a contest during the weekend open thread to give away the codes that were donated to this site. If you’d like to throw your codes into the hat I’d be happy to hand them out as contest prizes email me or you can post them here. (However, to avoid confusion and unnecessary chatter once they’ve been confirmed as claimed, which should take less than 5-10 minutes maximum, I will edit them out of the post since they are only valid once.) Either way works for me. And thanks in advance!

Barb: I found that out too! I always wait until after 1 am to enter in my codes (the ones I get from subway, I stopped making new email accounts awhile ago) I already have 2 years of free pogo, and I do feel kinda guilty winning more (but notice I keep trying? ;) )

The most Badges I’ve ever earned in a day is 18. Then there were the time when I earned 12 for myself then I did another 13 for a friend. I was really bored that day and most of them were quite easy and not time consuming.
But today I finally finished a badge I had been trying to get for over four months which today also happens to be my birthday so it was a double win for me :)
Now my next project is to get 500 bingos Badge in Scrabble since I’ve already ranked out in that game. So far I have 253 Bingo’s.

P.S. Lura. I just found and started reading this site and I find it very informative. A friend of mine convinced me in February to become a member of Pogo. Back at the time I only had 52 badges I now have 443 of them. LOL That goes to show how much I like to spend my time here. It’s great to be retired and to have something else to do other than playing with my grands and reading my books which is I must say my other two favorite things to do.

On a somewhat related note, please do not let this thread turn into a pity party about not winning the Subway sweepstakes or a place where people feel like they can beg for free 3month Pogo passes — there is still plenty of time for people to try to win at Subway. Also, as I stated earlier I will be holding a contest at least one of the weekends in September to give away codes that have already been donated to this site. There will be plenty to go around!

To RV60; On Stellar sweeper, after the first click has cleaned out a lot of the blocks, you should locate a # 1 that only has one uncovered block that is left to make a block of nine. (NOTE: if the # is one there is only one crystal in the surrounding eight blocks around it, and if its a # 2 there are only two crystals that will be around that and so on. ) you just have to imagine the each number is in the center of a block of nine and work off that theory. you have to RIGHT CLICK on a block when you are sure that its a crystal. When you are sure that the block is NOT a crystal you will clear out blocks and eventually release the gas jets that your looking for. If you use the largest planet sometimes you may release four gas jets in one game. Good luck to you & I hope this info helps as best it can.

Hi again. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Was wondering I was playing monopoly here and now for 12 hours started at rank 22 and last time I landed on go was at 1318 times passing go which would be rank 25. Then a wait while we check your tokens came up and when i clicked ok it booted me and closed my game. when I opened a new game I was still at rank 22. Has anyone had any luck getting pogo to give them the ranks they lost when this happens. Thanks for any help or ideas.

GET READY TO LAUGH!!….I need some tips to play and WIN combos in the game Penguin Blocks, ROFL I HATE this game with a passion and simply cannot seem to get this badge. Need 200 combos for the badge. :( How do I do this with minimal stress? It’s kinda funny actually, but a game like this just makes me crazy!! Give me Euchre anyday over the little birds that like seafood! They are too quick for me!

As far as how many badges earned in one day, well, crazy fool that I am, I earned 13 in one day. HARD ONES!! Was practically blind for three days after. Plus, I couldn’t move my right hand or fingers, and jumped at every clicking sound, haha But what a sense of accomplishment at the same time, ya know? Couldn’t see and could barely move, but hey–I felt great! haha Yeah, I’m kidding about all that, but I did earn the 13 badges and it was alot of fun! Alot of tokies too.
I have ONE GOOD tip for playing Stellar Sweeper and it works real well for me, that is if ya wanna play like I do: Click til ya blow up the Planet or win! ROFL YES–I did get my badge! :)
OK!!! Start sending in those GREAT tips for getting combos in Penguin Blocks!!! :) Yuck it up, it’s ok, I just want that badge. :)

i didn’t understand that badge either when i got it until i asked in the room i was in.you need to connect 2 pieces of food together at the same time.start by putting blocks on 2 pieces close together and then the last block you put will connect then.hope that works.

Stalota1 (66): That’s one where it is much easier to double browse to get. You can play against yourself, put all 7 letters out of random jibberish, and have the other person not challenge the word.
(In the settings, use traditional rules, and make sure “Allow challenging words” is checked in the advanced options.)

I would not want a badge unless i did it fair and square meaning a real word. i have had help from a site called scrabble builder but at least its a real word. but to each their own. now i cannot recall how many badges in a day but i think 6 or 7. that was awhile ago and yes lots of tokies.

sexyspongebobc: please, let’s not be judgmental here. Bill was simply giving Slalota another way of doing the badge. Sure, it’s “pushing the envelope” a little bit, but it’s still a valid way of doing the badge, whether you think it’s “horrible” or not.

Wow, I am totally impressed with all you “in a day” badgers..I have never thought of setting that goal for myself. And I also thought I was doing pretty good with my measly 771+ badges. I am okay with bill’s way of getting the badge, my pet peeve is having someone else work your challenges for you. Is it just me or does anyone else think you should do them yourself and not “help some one” else. In my mind, you might as welll tell your kids it is okay to have someone else do their mid-term exams for them!!
My crazy challenge badge is the Dice City roller badge where you need to clear 30 5 of a kinds in 5 hours, but think I may have it figured out. Have tried 7 times now, but will next time try to go to an auction room and get the star dice..Up to now I figured the non-auction rooms played out in six minutes or so, and that would make it easier to get through the games. Also need a win chess challenge to complete the 2009 year and cant figure out how to do that one since I dont play chess. Best of luck on challenges and badges all…POGO RULES

I took issue with the word ‘horrible’, but stuff never comes across right in text anyway. Everything else you said was a completely valid point. well, my primary account was originally my husband’s pogo account, and he’s won the lion’s share of euchre and cribbage badges. and when i had shoulder surgery a short while ago, a friend kept up with badges for me as it was during a Super Badge period and she did not want me to lose out on that simply because i was incapacitated.
what i think is: whatever & however one chooses to attain one’s badges is absolutely the right approach for that person. i never look or think twice about someone else’s badges or tokens because it simply doesn’t matter. it has no impact on me, it changes absolutely nothing for me, and thinking about it wastes valuable brain cells. as harold coffin said, “Envy is the art of counting the other fellow’s blessings instead of your own.”

Hi! ev1. I know this has nothing to do with the weekend thread, but Lura, do you know when they plan on fixing Crosscove tokens. You loose over 2000 tokens everytime you finish a puzzle in less then 12 min. Doesn’t seem fair for the people who do it less time.

For Kat #76 – connect your 2 fish before you move Bob. Once you move him to a fish you will have a 2 combo.
And I have to brag…no one else understands…..I got the Boggle Bash Badge Badge a couple of hours ago :) Now all I need is a 10 letter word….had a 9 letter word 1 day, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades…..LOL

After reading this thread, it made me realize that I have not played Scrabble in FOREVER and I love that game-I think I made it to rank 35 and I don’t know why I quit playing it lol.
And I’m with kiki, I don’t care what other ppl do or how they get their badges, I care about how I get them and as far as tokens go, I remember I was so excited to get my 1st million, now I have 35 million so if I lose some in Crossword, it doesn’t matter to me (that’s just how I feel-my opinion about MY tokens). All I ever use them for is to buy mini items and half the time, I get too stressed out trying to put items together that it’s weeks before I change it.

I also did 17 badges in one day, but it took me six weeks to set up. I did it in jigsaw detective. I worked on 17 cases, doing all but one puzzle (29/30), then invited 2 friends to play jigsaw on a particular day. I then finished the last puzzle in each case, and took em down like dominos. It was a fun way to jump up in my badges, but, took tons of work. Of course, it surprised my friends and others in the room.

No worries sexyspongebobc, I understand what you are getting at. I also understand the people who choose to play the game the way it is meant to be played would likely have such a reaction as yours. To each their own.
Truth is, I’m horrible at word games. Any badge (like in Word Whompdown or Scrabble) is very hard to impossible for me to get the “traditional” way.
Likewise, I understand the angst about this week’s badges. Stellar Sweeper takes A LOT of logic (mathematical meaning, not “common sense” meaning) and pattern recognition to be able to play well; something that I am good at but I understand others may not be.

Love this site and all the comments and tips.
I also happen to be very good at stellar and always get perfect games…but, it was very, very hard to learn and figure it out from all kinds of roomies. Once you have it, you have it.
I had a best friend that I had known on Pogo for over 3 years, but, she passed away last March. We trusted each other implicitly and would share doing badges for one another..she hated the solitaires and I would do those for her, I didn’t care for squelchies and stack-em and such and she would do those for me. It was fun sharing as if we were at each other’s house having coffee and pie…laughing and giggling like 2 kids. We never took each other for granted, we always asked for help from each other or would offer to do a badge that we knew the other one didn’t like…that also went for the premium albums.
I miss her terribly..we talked every day and were like 2 peas in a pod.
So, there are all kinds of reasons for doing other’s badges and it’s all good as long as they get done.

Thank you for the crossword cove solutions! But I was wondering why the UK solutions were in white and easy to read but the ohter one is brownish and harder to read? Is there anyway you can do both white?

Tammy: that’s just the way they’re submitted to me (some people use Easy mode which results in yellow puzzles and some people do not which results in white). If you’d like to submit your puzzles done on a harder mode so they’re all white, feel free to email your screenshots to admin@badgehungry.com.

Good Sunday Morning Everyone, the most badges I have earned in a day is five. I just started back playing Boggle Bash and I am at rank 16, but I see it goes by percentage now, is that the way it always was? Now it will take me forever to rank out, I did get the badge for a ten word but not the badge for spelling badge, guess it is just luck. Boy, I hope there wont be problems with Mini Golf if it comes out Tuesday, still loads of problems with certain games that Pogo keeps saying they are fixing, but never do!! I hope the new September m/ms come out tomorrow, does anyone know if it will be morning or evening when they come out? Thank you Lura for all your time and effort to keep us up to date with everything, you are a treasure to all of us. Enjoy your day.

Thank you for sharing your story with us about your friend. That is one of the wonderful things about Pogo, being able to meet people who just might develop into good friends.
I have helped people with badges, either as a filler at a table or just done badges when they were on vacation or having trouble with a game that I can play. They have been pleased and have offered to help in kind. They have trusted me with their accounts and I would never abuse the trust. Keeping challenges current is important to us badge addicts and if we can help each other when needed, then why not help out. It may not be everyones cup of tea and thats ok too.
As far as Im concerned, helping hands are great and Lura and all those that help with Trivial Pursuit and Crossword Cove prove it every day.

For Susan #88 – WTG on the Boggle Bash Badge Badge. Im still waiting for that one.
I guess Im not as prolific on a marathon of badges. I tend to get bored playing one game constantly so I think the most I got in one day were 8. Most of those were for rank. I have been on Pogo since 1999, but only recently joined Club Pogo so I have a lot of badges to catch up on!!
I have no problem as to how people get the badges. I think its great to find a friend who shares your interest in Pogo and you can use each others talents to get the badges. There are games I dont like to play, mostly the card games, so I dont go for those. Some games I dont have the patience to learn. I am one of those people who havent been able to learn games by reading the directions.
Lura – thank you for all your hard work in making this a great place to visit. And a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who posts all the wonderful hints that have helped me so much.

For Genevieve #104 – They didnt change the number of words needed per rank, they just changed the way that they show your progress. Its still 1800 words per rank….from where you are to rank 48, the last 2 ranks are 3600 words each.
Thanks to all for the congrats on getting the badge badge in Boggle Bash. Ive been looking at all the possible words after each round and havent even seen a 10 letter word listed, but I just started checking the last few days. And I just hope that I see the word when there is one….LOL

Hi all, the most badges I’ve earned in a day is 5 on May 14th 2009. I have over 400 badges on 14 pages. I don’t know how many tokens I got that day but it’s all good, badges and tokens booya! The Back to School album looks good. Good luck to those who are doing it and congrats to those who completed it. I hope Pogo releases Mini Golf Madness soon, maybe the reason they haven’t yet is because they want to get all the bugs out first. We’ll see. ;)

Hello and thanks for this helpful site! I did it again! Something I swore, I’d never, ever do. I purchased the back to school album and since I had to play Lottso Express anyway, I thought it would be easy to buy a mix and match and get it done at the same time. I bought a Lottso Express mix and match that requires me to reach the 5th level 10 times. I have been playing it nearly non-stop for nearly a day and I can’t get past the 4th level no matter what I do. I’ve had mega and super lottso cards but can’t get to that 5th level. Is there any helpful information out there? This will mean I have ANOTHER unfinished book, but I assumed this one would be easy. Thank you in advance sweet people.

Are you getting credit for more then say 150-225 letters on US or UK?? Are tokens that Valuable? I’d rather rank up then get useless tokens. So Pogo can’t add..shocker. But except for Mini’s who cares? I used to Dble Browse just to toss off useless tokens to other throw-away accounts so people didnt think I cheated etc.

Hi Babbm90 (109) I have get that badge, but it isnt easy.
But maby this will helps you:
There are numbers nearest the cards you put your numbers in. If you use them you and fill both numbers, you get the double of the tokens and then you can get it. Also you need luck when you play the super mega lottso, but when you have luck, you get enough tokens to get the 5th level.
I got that badge in a few hours, so when you need help, my pogo name is the same, so find me and maby I can help you.
I also have a question for the boggle-players. If anyone has found the 10-lettre word, please mention it hear, so it will be possible for more people to get that badge, for me its not easy, but with a little help maby possbible to get.

Babbm: Not sure if this is any help to you, but they way I play is to work on getting the super on each side filled but not scratched until i have both sides set, then scratch them both and work on the mega. It doesnt always work, but more than 50% of the time for me.

Babb #109 I had to do mega to get to 5th level, & sometimes even then I didn’t get to the 5th level. I don’t know if others have any better tips, but that is the only way I got to that level. Hang in there & good luck.

I got both the Badge Badge and the 10-letter word Badge in Boggle Bash.
My 10-letter word was hornblende and for the Badge Badge I tried typing badge at the start of each puzzle, this way if it was there I wouldnt miss it

Hi Lura and Everyone
I have a question that I hope someone can answer me. This morning in Boggle a fellow player (who almost always gets 90 – 120) that is really good at the game was attacked by a couple other players saying she was using a cheat program (which she isnt). Me and some other players who play in the room all the time came to her defense. Well these other people said that in the pogo newsletter it stated that anyone getting over 80 was going to be banned for using a cheat program and then someone else chimed in and said yeah they saw it too. I myself sometimes get well over 80. Do you or anyone know if this is true and if so what exactly does it say? I have subscribed to getting the newsletter years ago, but to this date I have still never received one (and yes pogo EA are both marked safe and I always check my junk mail). Ive contacted pogo about it but who knows when theyll get back to me about it. I think its hogwash, I just cant believe they would ban people for being good at a game. I pride myself on getting good at a game and getting high scores, especially in games that you have to use your mind. And I love it when someone is better than me, it pushes me to try harder.

The most badges Ive done in one day is 14. I had the day to myself and it was a badge day so I finished the three badges and I also worked on and finished a premium album. Ive only done that once since most of the time I limit myself to one or two a day.
Snowyjoke (#114) I havent found the 10 letter badge yet either but Ive recently started writing down words that others have found for their badge. So far I have:
Heatstrokes
Donenesses (evidently its a word, lol)
Reelection

For Snowy #114 – most of the rounds don’t even have a 10 letter word.
When the round ends it shows the unique words, but if you click the tab that says “all words” it’s a list of all the words that were available.
They are listed by the number of letters and then alphabetically. I’ve been checking the lists for about 30 games (90 rounds) and haven’t found any 10 letter words listed.
So the answer is that you have to be playing at the right time to get a shot at it, and then it has to be a word that you recognize. Some of the words they list I have never heard of, and I’m 57 and spent a lot of years in the business world.

As far as the tokens in Crossword Cove…my token amount does not change in the amount next to the jackpot amount, but it does change next to my name in “Who Here” area.
The most badges I have gotten in one day (I only went back as far as Jan. 2009) is 7, and I have 1628 badges. YES I am a BADGE ADDICT.
When is the next meeting? lol

pegasuszoe: that’s just a load of bull. There was nothing in any newsletter about anyone being banned for anything. Their newsletters are marketing fluff — “here’s what’s coming soon and oh, try this new download we are selling.” There wasn’t even anything in recent news articles (under the News tab on their home page) about this. People that spread rumors like this are silly. Don’t let the turkeys get you down.
