Well thank goodness a new album. I finished 2 this weekend and needed a new one. lol The album seems simple to finish quickly. yeahhhhhh for me maybe my new house will get get done like unpacking and setting up the furniture lol. good luck e1

I’m with you Lura, I’ve been trying really hard not to buy albums and mix n matches badges that come out unless they go on sale.
It’s REALLY hard! But I still have a lot of premium badges that I haven’t done yet so it seems silly to keep buying them when I have so many waiting to be done (yet I still buy them at times) Plus I don’t want to think about an actual dollar value on the tokens I’ve spent…

I bought the new album as soon as I got on. I tend to not buy MnM… and I dont really get gem items in the mini mall (unless I HAVE to have them, lol) so getting the premium albums is my little indulgence.

I…have to admit… I finished the album already >.> Sick, yes… I was bored and it was easy! Haha. I think the challenges are pretty straight forward, though I wish the addiction solitaire one was harder. Really, win ONE game? I got it on the first try :(

This is a brilliant album to play. Great badges and quite easy challenges. I am have way through the album already!

I haven’t purchased this book yet because I’m sick of Monopoly lol. It seems like in the past 3 or 4 books they have offered, Monopoly or Yahtzee is in them and I’m tired of those games being pushed down our throats. Either we’re gonna like the games and play it or we’re not. Let us decide. But on the upside, 2 of my favs are in this so I’m torn as to what to do. I think in Pogo Addiction, they should have made it more hands to win-like maybe 5. Thanks for listening.

Being the badge hog I am, my fingers raced across the keyboard to buy the album. Since I don’t have problems with freezing in monopoly, I got that badge done first thing and now I’m free to work on the rest with no stress. haha I just love the albums, m/ms and the challenges. Been with Pogo since 1999 and I am truly Badge Hungry.

A special thank you to Lura for this amazing site and also to John, Tigger and the rest of the gang for all the hard work, tips and just being plain friendly and helpful. Lots of people on here too numerous to thank but I know I speak for a lot of folks when I say we appreciate the site.

I bought the album and am enjoying the badges. I don’t mind that this is a fairly easy album. Varying the difficulty is a good idea in my opinion so that everyone gets to complete an album.

I used to look at favorite badges in game rooms and see one that I thought was pretty. Then that badge would be my next week’s personal challenge. I realize that animation is where the trend is at now. I miss some of the colorful nicely done graphics on the older badges. After all, when you display a favorite badge in your profile it is not the animation that shows.

I also agree that there appears to be an unfair slant to Hasbro games as opposed to newer Pogo games in M/Ms and PBAs. They do manage to keep Poppit and Word Whomp alive but some variety from the older games would be nice.

Got 9/10 of the school album yesterday and am saving the boardwalk one for tomorrow’s challenge. Meanwhile, i am working on Hangman Hijinks–I have used the list many times, but am coming up with words that are not on the list and jotting them down–Lura., would you like these added and how do we send them?

I haven’t bought this album yet and will probably wait awhile. I have probably 4 or 5 that aren’t quite finished yet. I do like to double up on challenges when I have a premium or MnM challenge the same as the weekly challenge. On the other hand, I will probably never finish the one album with the Pogo Bowl 200 game, don’t think I’ll ever manage to get that, LOL.

I’m pretty picky with the MnM, I don’t like to buy gems too often so I usually get just the MnM challenges from my favorite games. I also don’t like to buy the ones that look like they’ll only take 10 minutes, if I’m going to pay for them I want them to actually be a challenge.

Just recently started coming to this site (Thank You Lura and all that contributes)…not sure if this is where to ask this question: I missed out on some Premium Albums that are now retired. Does anyone know if Pogo intends to bring them out again, for those of us newcomers can purchase these albums? Seems to me there would be a tremendous amount of sales for Pogo, from those who became members in last year or so and now addicted to badges. if they were to do that…say for a very limited special “bring ‘em back’ so we can complete the series of albums. Any thoughts?

Thank you Lura for your prompt reply. It was a shot in the dark and I wondered if the subject had come up before or not. One would think Pogo would jump at the chance to generate more income from members. Forgive the ‘off topic’ in this thread. Perhaps it could be a topic for one of your weekend threads.

just a thought: why buy it if you’re going to complain about how easy it is? it lists all the badges and requirements not only here (ty Lura) but also on Pogo before you buy it.

i’m working on my last badge…it’s monopoly. i need all my patience since it’s still freezing on me lol. the joys of Pogo!

Lura I’m with you, I’ll wait until it goes on sale. Especially after reading how fast it is for you all to complete. Only 2 badges/icons I like in that album. Plenty in my collection for me to catch up on or I could start ranking out another game. Found out this past weekend ya just can’t take 3 full days off from playing pogo, although I did keep up with reading the weekend thread every few hours. Now I’m still trying to complete this weeks challenge for both of us. (* so sad*)

HomelessDog (#35) am I reading that right. You have badges you have done over “245 times”? I sent you a pogo message/mail hope you get it.

Lura on Sam (#36) I had contacted Pogo Customer Help for a similar query and the response I was given was:
Please be informed that, the Album and Mini Item you are referring are limited edition items and are available only for a specific duration and the deadline always get displayed with them. Unfortunately, there is no way to get these items if once they’re sold out or the time period is over.
We may offer them again at some point in the future, but we can’t promise the same. However, please keep checking the “Latest News” to get the updates as soon as we have them.

The “Back to School Album” is really nice. The only problem is the last one I am doing and it is Monopoly. It freezes up. But with patience you can get through it. I am almost half way done and I will have completed this Album. GL to all those playing it…Looking forward to the “Turns Ten Album”….Have fun everyone!

Good Morning Everyone, I purchased the new album, love all the challenges except Monopoly. The game kept freezing and it took me over an hour to play one full game. What boggles the mind is why in the world does Pogo tell us something and it isn’t true. I just think they are lacking Customer Care and need to step back and regroup. I don’t understand why they can’t fix one problem instead of moving on with something new. With Pogo it is never their fault it is always ours. I just wish Pogo would listen to its members, the ones that keep them in business. Sorry to vent but it is very frustrating that Pogo doesn’t seem to care of even want to keep us up to date with issues. Have a great day and good luck on the challenges. Not sure why everyone is having trouble with Monopoly freezing. I have yet to have any problem with it . I am using Vista Home Basics with my browser being IE 7. I clear my Java cache daily and update Java as needed. hope your problems are solved soon so that you can enjoy the game and complete the new album.

This album went really quick for me! The worst was Poppit. Am I the only one that cannot stand that game? It seems like they have so many challenges in Poppit!
