Word Craft – O.W.L. Badge
Find 200 words between 12 AM PST July 17 and 12AM PST July 21
Originally, this challenge was created to be “Find 100 words” but right before its release, Pogo changed it. What do you make of that? We think it might have been too easy for a ‘special’ weekend challenge if it were only 100 words. It should go pretty quick, either way.
This badge and its challenge are pretty self-explanatory, but if you’d like to share your hints or tips on how to earn it, feel free to post a comment below. Thanks!

Word Craft badge was pretty easy…just remember you can type in the letters and hit enter to submit…or if you click on the letters you can right click on mouse to submit.

I agree this badge was easy. It was a joke. They might as well just put it in my album because it took me more time to log in and find word craft then it did to do the badge. 2,000 words would be a CHALLENGE. I know people will say they think that 200 is enough but you seem to forget the word challenge is included in the original description. I was glad Pogo increased it for a change instead of lessening it but oh well add another to the book.

Wordcraft was very easy,but it is one of my favorite games.I don’t play any other game sites…have tried a few but didn’t really care for them.But i do love Pogo.And i do love the mini’s.So just get to wait til next week for my new Mini FIX.

Id just like to point out that its not easy for everyone. It pisses me off when people point out over and over in a post how easy a badge is. Its not considerate at all and makes people who find the badge difficult feel bad.
Im glad Pogo went with a Harry Potter theme this week and was nice enough to add an extra badge. Hopefully Ill get to see the movie this weekend.

i found if u play on beginner or easy, goes quicker because you find the words much easier and quicker..im with u all the way cherie, kudos!

cherie,it was a pleasure to read your coment,although the badge was no proublem for me i was glad to see it pointed out that some do have trouble with it and to see someone have feelings for others. Good Luck all

I agree cherie, what is easy for some may not be easy for someone else. I tend to try and get the badge in one sitting, I broke this one down. I admit I am a badge addict. I was looking forward to this one as I love the word games. If it takes you 1 day or 4 days the important thing is you git ur done, and enjoy working on it.

Everyone has a right to voice their opinion. People have been talking about badge difficulty since the start of badges. Why censor those who say it’s too easy/hard? I’m against censorship and I’d hate to see comments limited because someone was “offended”. It’s the kind of thing that is ruining America with Political Correctness as well.
I will say that I felt Word Craft wasn’t bad challenge.

not censoring anyone neo..just stating that it made them angry that ppl continue to say that a badge is way easy for them but in the long run for those who have difficulties, may be harder for them, and its those that diss on others for stating they shouldnt have troubles or what have u, on those badges, that ppl r getting upset over

Neo – I wasnt censoring anyone. I was expressing how I felt about what someone else said. Thats called freedom of speech. Just like you expressed how you felt. I enjoy the way so many opinions are allowed on this site and not censored (thanks, Lura!). But that doesnt mean I have to agree with them.
Personally, I enjoyed the challege. I know of a few people who it took hours to complete, though. It wasnt easy for them and was definitely a challenge. And Im glad it wasnt collect 200 bonus tokens!

I did this badge fairly quickly.. but i do have problems with some of the badges.. so i guess i say have fun.. it easy for some an hard for others.
I want more crazy cake badges for mix an match or personal challenges..
I do like to play qwerty an bogglebash.. but i do have a hard time at word whomp..
But this one was kinda fun..

I don’t have any tips for this badge, but if you play the game long enough, the words will repeat themselves. I wish everyone luck with this badge. It was fun for me to get, but I enjoy word games.

Definitely a challenge for me lol, not one of favorites, took me 1 1/2 hrs.

i too did not have a problem with the word craft that i did but that is just me i enjoy most games and am always glad to see games that i dont usually play come up as a challenge. EVEN those games that i dont enjoy much. We all have our own indivual games that we enjoy and games that we dont enjoy as much and being easy or difficult for me to play does not in anyway decide for me what games i like. There are games that i do play rather poorly but play often and thank goodness have improved on hehehehe
