ok guys sorry!! i was hoping you guys would google it b/c i wasn’t sure if it was allowed here, but here it is:

When you are working on the last puzzle in a game, try to make your last word a short one and make it so the final letters are not close to the actual fortune cookies. After the gate opens, make sure your curser is on the screen, but not near the cookie…. right click and type a “u”. Your last letters will reappear on the screen and you need to spell the same word again, BUT STAY AWAY FROM THE COOKIES and right click to send the word. “Play again” will pop up at some point, click play again and do the same thing over and over. You’ll rack up tons of points! The most important thing is to avoid the cookie… if you hit that, you have to start all over. I hope I explained it clearly enough!

Will also help you move through ranks quickly!

absolutely LOVE pino, wont take long if u play to 500, maybe even 700(hadnt tried)not sure on wordjong, but easy level works :)

You make a good point, Lura. I got a 3 day suspension when Pogo caught me using the “glitch”. I still got to keep my ranks but 3 days without Pogo is nerve wracking!

i dont understand why pogo would penalize someone from benefiting from THEIR glitch.. if they don’t want that to happen, they should fix it.. duh!

To get the badge fast and legally, whenever you fill all three spots with the butterflies be sure to use at least one even if you have a word to spell.

In this way, you can rack up the bonuses instead of the Chinese coins. Doing this, I got the badge in less than ten minutes.

I love Pinochle and have been playing for many years, ie with decks of cards, before computers in almost everyone’s homes and Pogo. So, if anyone needs help with a badge just let me know.

That aside Pogo has kind of ruined playing the game at least on Pogo for me and I only play for badges. Just wondering if any of you have had similar experiences.

I played with a friend for our badges. We played against Pogobots. Most times we took the bid the bots would have a run in the trump we declared and no matter what the bots would have more meld.

I also did a badge for a friend on vacation. I played against bots. One hand the bots went set and the next hand they came back with a double run. Double runs are extremely rare and the highest meld (point value) in the game.When I would go set in a hand there was no double run dealt to me or my partner the following hand. In the same game the bots were dealt double kings, also rare with a high point value.

The reason for the detail is the reason that I am so bummed about playing this game on Pogo. It has been my experience that the cards are dealt in a manner that can be called many things, just not randomized. It is a pattern that I saw for a long time and it ruined my enjoyment of the game on this site which is sad because the lack of randomized dealing especially with Pogobots is hard to miss.

Thanks for letting me vent. This wasn’t the game that originally got me to Pogo but, discovering it made me join.

Both badges were very easy, their is no reason for anybody to have to use a short cut. Even the pinochle badge was easy and I barely understand the game. Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself a lttle bit.

i not done badges this wk but rember a glitch in word jong few yrs ago where u turned all tiles green and ranked out in in less than a day,i dont feel u breaking pogo’s terms after all it a glitch their end and if u spot it why not take advantage of it.theres quite a few glitches,the one in poker where man goes across bridge still works,when u get to 3rd spot wait for rock to go over ya head and hit mans head to move forward one spot.,gl e1 with their badges.

does anyone know if you can try for 3 badges at a time? for instance…if there is a weekly challange of a certain game and also a mix and match of the same game and also the same game in a premium album..is that possible?

I would NEVER cheat or do ANYTHING against TOS!! Would be too scared I’d lose my Pogo Account! Can we say “chicken”? LOL I was just curious about the glitch!! They fascinate me, lol I don’t understand how Pogo could leave a computer code in a game that would cause this, yet penalize a player for using it…doesn’t seem right to me….but yet, if it’s against TOS, you won’t catch me using it! BUT, if they know it’s there, WHY DON’T THEY FIX IT?? It can’t be that complicated, can it??

I love Word Jong so getting that Badge was no trouble for me :) Now with Pino, that was another story, lol I did get the Badge, some of the tips here helped…

What I ended up doing that helped me more was this:

I played 100 point games, (went quicker than the 150 alot suggested) in a private room, against robots.

BUT, and the big BUT, is: I FIRST played other games so my computer wasn’t “fresh”. Ya know what I mean?

Tried playing when I first logged in and got beat so bad it was awful!! So I waited, played a few other games, then tried again. IT WORKED!! Had the Badge in no time. A little over an hour was all it took. THAT includes all my flub ups too, lol

All in all, after dreading that Pino Badge, have to say I rather enjoyed beating the metal pants off those creepy bots! ROFL (thumbs up to those who don’t give in to metal men)

Don’t give up, you CAN beat the bots! Hope my tips help someone. AND thanks for all the tips that were posted too.

Hi All,

I am new to this site but do have some comments about what I have been reading in this forum. I am at this point of talking about cheaters, auto’s, etc that I could be sick. We have no control over what other’s do on this site, so why let it bother us. I know a lot of people are into badges and ranks but to let this type of stuff consume you, is so unhealthy.

I have been accused of this myself, and it is very discouraging when someone loses a game, this is the first thing they say. I “personally” do not care if someone is using a cheat, program, or whatnot. I come on here for relaxing, fun. I don’t come on to see drama, or watch the bickering that goes on. It amazes me that even as adults we cannot seem to let the little things in life alone.

I know as a newbie to this site, I may come off a little strong, but as a read last week I think, someone else even said enough about the cheats etc. I just think at this point everyone is beating a dead horse.

I think Pogo has finally fixed the glitch in Word Jong.
