For the Ali Baba badge… I worked on it for 3 days (without changing rooms) and couldn’t get one. I then started changing rooms after 10 spins… had the badge within 2 days.

Tumble Bees and Phlinx….. set difficulty to lowest level and you’ll get it pretty quickly.

Canasta… like “HomelessDog” said…. play against computer… keep track of what cards AI is throwing away and don’t throw them until you freeze the pile after 9th card… keep pile frozen using the black 3s, wilds, and the cards the AI threw away… then pick up discard pile yourself (hope that makes sense).

For Yahtzee “rolls of the road” badge…. stick to fuller rooms and it goes quickly….

I still have the others to get myself… but thanks for the pointers/hints for those, everyone!

I just need to finish WC solitaire and I’m done. The Ali Baba Slots was a real challenge. The first evening I played in 1 room for 2 hours and never got the 3 blue sapphires. The next day I played on and off for a total of 6 hours changing rooms often, I got up to 5. On the third day it took about 4 hours but I finally got all 10 of the stupid sapphires. The only trick that I learned was to change rooms every half hour or so. So keep changing rooms and you’ll get it and find some fun people along the way.

I emailed pogo about the Desert Rain Badge and they said that some badges have to be challengin or people will get bored. I think Ali Bab Slots is boring, have only got i/10 in 2 days. I will try emailing them again. It would be different if it were just a single challenge, but I can’t finish the album unless I get this one

Thanks for the tips! I finally got the trivia pursuit badge! ( it helps not to activate the badge until you are sure you are going to win the 1st one, just activate it right before all your answers are finished) This was you actually have 3 to do in 2 hrs.

As for the Ali baba, i dont see me winning this badge at all. I dont care if we do have 10 days to finish it, I cant even get one down, and have been trying for 2 days! I just dont have the patience to sit and click for hours on end hoping for 3 blue diamonds. Ughh! I think they need to change the requirements for this badge, this is very cruel punishment lol.

For the World Class Solitaire badge…it took me about 90 mins to do 2 round trips…seems to be taking others longer.
What I did was…when I had to select a new city…I would pick the one furthest away…and that way cover more terrain to go around the world faster. Hope it helps.

For the Yahtzee 2’s badge, this sounds obvious, but keep every 2 that you get and discard everything else. Don’t try and win the game–just try and get yahtzee’s with twos and you’ll be done a lot faster.

For the Yahtzee Super Yahtzee badge, make sure you play in a full room… feel free to jump around from room to room until you find one that has an almost full meter.

In Canasta, this is actually really easy when playing against a computer. Just freeze the pile pretty early on and wait for it to build up to 20+ cards before picking it up and you’ll probably have enough tricks to meld out. A few things to know, the computer will rarely ever pick up a pile with less than 8 cards in it, and the computer will never try and fool you into throwing down a card that it doesn’t want. So if the computer discards a 9 onto a frozen pile, you can probably safely discard a 9 right on top of it without the computer picking up that pile. I don’t remember losing against the computer because it’s so predictable.

ali baba slots is the only one i have left to do and i do not think i will get that on.3 blue sapphires?? played for 4 hr and not even one.:>(

Hi Everyone, the new album is not as bad as I thought. The only one that I know will give me some trouble is the Trivial Pursuit, I am with Amy, I am not dumb, but I don’t like the random quizzes. Any tips, if there are any would be greatly appreciated. The only ones I have left to do is Canasta, the two Yahtzee and Ali Baba. So good luck and enjoy.
