Not really liking this game, but then i am not really a work game person either. Just got into a room with 15 seconds left on the timer and they where saying how some people don’t try and are Lazy. I was thinking i have 15 seconds left how much can i do in 15 seconds when i am not good at these types of games. So prolly be another game i play just for challenges.
Badgevulture 06.30.09 at 8:51 am
i would offer a tip but cant get it to load. i have current java and flash. all other games load fine that i have tried today..probably just a glitch with a new game.
nephthys 06.30.09 at 9:53 am
I really like this game! Only played it a few times but… im partial to word games. I like how you get to play against others in the room rather then by yourself.
Noreensam 06.30.09 at 9:56 am
Ihave been playing and made rank 7 and my stats aren’t showing up
CrypticHill 06.30.09 at 10:03 am
Just played the game and it’s kinda fun. Like Word Womp there are alot of words that I dopn’t know just crazy letters put together…lol Has a nice Pogo twist to it and U like the team challenges…
Jennifer 06.30.09 at 10:05 am
I’m not liking this game at all. All this really seems like to me is Word Whomp Whackdown with a trademarked name. I got some great scores on the game but I lost interest in it completely after just a few rounds.
This is a badge only game for me.
Sandy 06.30.09 at 10:16 am
Love this game. My only tip would be to submit words even if you think they are not words.
Debk 06.30.09 at 10:35 am
I just tried it. I didn’t read the instructions, just jumped in. I tried to type in words like yes and silk. It kept eliminating the first letter after I clicked on the second letter. Wound up with es and ilk. Maybe I should read the instructions first. :-)
whistlingdixiee 06.30.09 at 10:52 am
I like the game but people are already cheating. There is no way you can get 200 words in a single round! Without cheating, of course. I guess there is a program where you can type in the letters and it will show you every word that you can make out of those letters. Then the cheaters just type those words in as fast as they can. Too bad.
Lura 06.30.09 at 11:00 am
whistlingdixee: I am extremely good at Boggle, and it’s hard for people to even come close to beating me in real life games. Online Boggle games in the past usually gave me no competition (unless I found a hardcore room of regulars), because I type very fast as well. With that said, I may be a little rusty, but I have already been beaten ridiculously by other players. My first thought was that they must be using an auto, because I can’t imagine anyone even being able to type that fast. I don’t really mind the auto-users, the bulk of them will rank out quickly enough after a day or so anyway. I just switch rooms when I feel the competition is a little too unnaturally fierce.
A few tips off the top of my head before I break for lunch:
Keep an eye out for S’s that you can use to tack onto words you already have. Look out for common words endings like -NESS and -ING and -ED as well.
You should always be typing something, trying words ALWAYS. As Sandy said, submit words even if you think they’re not words.
When the round is over, be sure to check out the unique word lists of other players (and sometimes the complete word lists) to find 3- and 4-letter words that you aren’t familiar with, committing just a few rare short words to memory each round earns you a pretty big reward after a few games.
Mary 06.30.09 at 11:28 am
Lura-
That was some good advice, but maybe you shouldnt have as big of head as yourself. Some people are really good at these games.
Lura 06.30.09 at 11:37 am
Mary: thanks for putting me in my place! I am certainly not saying that nobody will me in Boggle (and it’s great competition when it happens, but that’s not really my point in playing anyway), but to be beat by 25+ unique words consistently, most of which were jibberish words… it screams auto to me. I could be wrong…
You’re right though, some people are just good at Boggle, but I also happen to be one of them. I don’t think I have a big head, I just know where I stand after playing this game fanatically for over 25 years. Maybe I should have worded it differently, but I was trying to explain — from my experienced viewpoint — my take on the auto users and give a few tips of my own. If that means I have a big head, I guess I need to go get some bigger hats.
sashca2002 06.30.09 at 11:45 am
i like this game i was real good at spelling in school i won contests as we llas math class as far as cheating goes i dont need to cheat but i dont think its right to cheat either my mom always said if you have to cheat then dont play at all i mean come on why cheat this game is easy i think gl all have fun tc thnks pogo for another great game
Wolfe 06.30.09 at 12:02 pm
Agreed. I go with each letter one at a time, and try the word even if it looks like complete gibberish. And yes, it’s pretty obvious who is using an auto and who is not.
On a side note, the game doesn’t appear on Pogo’s main page yet . . . unless I’m blind . . . which after playing Boggle for over three hours is possible right now. ;)

Lura 06.30.09 at 12:12 pm
Wolfe: when games are released on Pogo, they are not “officially released” for about a week and therefore aren’t listed in most of the game lists. You probably know this, but they remain in “sneak peek” mode, which means you can add them to your favorites, or go through a direct link (like in the original post up there). It’s kind of a soft launch, to work out the bugs before every Pogo player finds it.
shelly 06.30.09 at 12:35 pm
I do agree that maybe some people are using autos but not everyone is. I’ll give you a clue….some people are using the same kind help that was mentioned last week for the Word Whomp badge :o)
Chelle 06.30.09 at 12:42 pm
I have been addicted to this game since they released it for beta testing. I definitely don’t think I’m the best at it, but I know I’m pretty good. It’s only a bit less fun being constantly beat out by players who use a website to find insane words I wouldn’t even submit as a guess. And before anyone accuses me of being a sore loser, I know for a fact that many people are using a website where you type in the letters on the board and are provided with all possible solutions, as I’ve already seen quite a few conversations about the site in several different rooms. I don’t really mind that people are doing it. I figure most people who use autos/websites just do it to rank up quickly. Once they’ve received the badges, they’ll probably go away.
sue 06.30.09 at 12:44 pm
I am not the greatest at word games but i am doing pretty good at this game. I always have quite a few unique words. Maybe you just don’t have the hang of it yet Lura.
I think this is the best of the recent new games. But I don’t care much for the ones that are just mindless clicking or pure luck so much. This one really keeps you on your toes and there are a lot of great players out there already.
I also love it that there are all so many badges. I am a happy pogoer today and we still have jigsaw and the mix and match challenges to come!
I do suspect that i won’t make much progress our painting project in the basement!
justaharleygirl 06.30.09 at 12:47 pm
WTG Lura! Like you I am an extremely fast typer and I LOVE word games. I think it’s great you know your strengths and well, I’ll give ya some of my hats if ya want LOL ;-) … Seriously though, I knew the point you were trying to make about autos, but yet I get accused all the time just because I’m good at a game and because of the amount of tokies I have. I play a LOT of poker and do quite well there too. I dunno, I just think people should mind their own because the auto people aren’t hurting anyone anyway. It’s their $, their account, they aren’t bothering me at all. I’m SO tired of hearing *cheat* in Boardwalk; ugh! It just seems that people aren’t happy unless they are a b****in’.
Oh, did I forget to say I LOVE the game! :) ~ I just type like a mad woman, and it’s amazing at the amount of words that I find that you don’t know existed. I scour the board quickly, type what I know, and then go crazy LOL. So glad they have a rank 5 badge; woohooooooo LOL. Need my badges. I do wonder how long it will be before the letters are there to spell *BADGE* ;)
Get off my lawn 06.30.09 at 12:48 pm
Wow, tourney people already!
I went into a room to try it just now and stumbled across a tourney happening and “messing it up.” Wow. As for the game, I found it easier to see words than in WWWD and ended up doing quite well my first time out – won 2 of three games. I don’t typically do as well in word games, so I doubt this one is one I will play that often – I do wish you could pick your table. I can see arguments for both sides, (nobody left out) but I’d also like to get my friend’s family all at one table to really see who is got strange things on their mind! Haha!
My advice is to keep turning the box, you see things that are really obvious in one view, but maybe less so in another orientation. I know I found a lot of words this way! And if you mistype/misclick, just hit enter anyways – received credit for a handful of words I’d have never submitted otherwise or believed existed!
Wolfe 06.30.09 at 12:59 pm
Actually Laura, I didn’t know that. ;) Thanks for the info.

As far as auto go, I agree and disagree Justaharleygirl. If the auto is used in a competition against players, especially a new game, I find it distasteful if not rude. Against the computer? I say let the auto users go for it.
I believe Boggle is a competition and team game. Using an auto against other players is unfair. Tempting granted, but still cheesy.
Just my humble opinion.

nuyorkborn 06.30.09 at 1:19 pm
my mom has fell in love with this game already..loves her word games.
whistlingdixiee 06.30.09 at 1:29 pm
I realize that I am not the best boggle player in the world but, I was just in a room where a player was getting EVERY single word per game….come on ! Including the most ridiculous words I have ever seen. They are entitled to play as they want …but…separate rooms for those who choose to play with and auto program would be nice! I have no problem being soundly beaten by someone who is playing honestly (it happens every day, lol) it just makes me try harder. But the cheaters should play with each other.
CrypticHill 06.30.09 at 1:46 pm
Lura~ Don’t worry… I knew what you were trying to say. I’m not very good at this game but can hold my own and to have found that many words, everytime… Something seems F-I-S-H-Y
whistlingdixiee 06.30.09 at 1:49 pm
And to add insult to injury…I just went back to play again and the same player who plays with an auto program is WEARING MY MINI!!! She changed into it when I left…Thief! lol
Kevin 06.30.09 at 2:27 pm
All the in game badges look attainable within many hours of gameplay and dedication, but anyone know how to get that Boogle Wordsmith Badge? That one looks VERY HARD to get!
Janet 06.30.09 at 3:03 pm
Hi all very nice site here. Maybe someone can tell me why I can’t get into Boggle, I keep getting a Cripes error when the game starts up, never had this problem in any other game on Pogo. Thanks for any help you can give me.
sandy z 06.30.09 at 4:59 pm
I love the game already. I love most word games …. with the exception of stupid wordjong. Got rank 10 in just a few hours. But yes it seems there must be a lot of cheaters already …. glad they will rank out in no time and then get lost. I hate them on principle. I also love that there are extra badges to earn aside from the rank badges!! Wtg pogo!!
Lura don’t apologize for being good at the game. I say go girl!!!
Melissa 06.30.09 at 5:06 pm
I personally don’t care for the game, as I generally suck at word games. Its one of those games that I will probably only play for badges and hunts and the odd tourney. The graphics are very well done and I am glad that there are no glitches, so far.
bonnie 06.30.09 at 6:08 pm
im thrilled !!got the first badge and got the spell badge badge too !! i LOVE word games ..
kiki 06.30.09 at 6:24 pm
i agree on the autos, and lura gave you some very good advice, both on the game and vis-a-vis those auto users. by the end of the week, they’ll be gone, so be patient, lmao. suspect autos? watch to see how fast another player’s word lines fill up. some had all of their words entered before i got to my 3rd letter!
in addition to looking for those standard word endings lura mentioned, look for word starters such as EX, EN, IN and the like. note double letters, both vowels and consonants. try rhyming when you find a good combination–wOOL, schOOL, drOOL, etc.
i like the game a lot, and hope later ranks are a bit more challenging than the first few.
Mary 06.30.09 at 6:25 pm
I’ve also noticed some people getting ridiculous points, I saw one person with 270 in 1 round, only getting 5, 6, 7, 8 letter words, so.. I’ve been pretty suspicious as well. But I don’t really care, I’m not going against them, and I’m just trying to find as much words as I can for rank!
sashca2002 06.30.09 at 6:52 pm
on my stats when i get a jackpot spin it doesnt show up there the one badge is 750 jp spins with the team does any1 know whats wrong or did i miss understand it thanks for helping me gl all have fun
Wolfe 06.30.09 at 7:07 pm
As far as hints, my biggest scores come from finding -ing combinations. This also includes plural uses. No luck with the 10-letter combinations yet.
Janet, you might need to update your Java.
Just a suggestion.

Just wondering if anyone else keeps getting the “cripes” message (about a bad applet?) I have done everything they said and still not able to play the game. Just curious!
Thanks!
Wolfe 06.30.09 at 7:34 pm
Cripes!
Might want to read this link to see if any of the fixes may apply to you, Mike and Janet. I hear laptops appear more likely to get this error as well.

Too many people using cheats on this game. What fun is that. I’ll never play this game again.

ME ME ME Mike! I am getting the !Cripes! message as well, but my husband is not getting it on his computer. The room loads but when the game starts to play it crashes and gives me !CRIPES! I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, java, IE, cleared cache, cookies and offline data and disabled my anti-virus and firewall as pogo suggested in their reply to my question about it and nothing has worked. If anyone knows or can find a fix please let us know here asap. lol !! I’m mad cause l3ear can play it and I can’t! lmao
Sincerely sad at the moment

I love this game. I have been waiting for a long time for this to come out. I love word games.
After playing for an hour I have reached rank 5!
l3ear's Mrs 06.30.09 at 8:33 pm
An update, my husband just went under my name on his computer and got the CRIPES error, but under his name is all fine, so it has to have something to do with my pogo account or the server my account is on or connecting to. Also Boggle Bash is the only game I get this error for.
Helppppppppp
Janet 06.30.09 at 8:52 pm
Wolfe, Thanks for the information, will check it out tomorrow. I was looking forward to playing this game.
Lura 06.30.09 at 8:54 pm
All of you guys getting the Cripes error, have you reported it to Pogo and are you just waiting on a response now? I suggest you do that — it could be a bug, especially because of what L3ear’s Mrs described with their two accounts.
I tried to do some searching on Pogo’s help system and found nothing (and oddly little about the Cripes error in general).
Brandy 06.30.09 at 9:00 pm
I agree with justaharleygirl…I want that Boggle Badge Badge…havent seen the letters to even spell “BADGE” yet! Also, that 10 lttr badge is gonna suck. But, I do like the game. Here is my tip: Type the words instead of clicking, its quicker. Also, just hit random words it doesnt take points away if they are wrong:)
Brandy 06.30.09 at 9:03 pm
OH and sascha2002, I never seen the jp in stats either (maybe they don’ t list it in stats). Although, they should…how are we supposed to know how close we are?
sashca2002 06.30.09 at 9:29 pm
brandy they have the others listed in the stats for badges just not the jp one thanks for letting me know its u2 im not alone gl have fun thats just it we wont know how close if its not listed in stats
Chad 06.30.09 at 9:57 pm
All I can say is WOW! Pogo finally came out with the game I’ve been waiting for, and it is near perfect, in my opinion. Like Lura mentioned a few weeks ago, I also played a similar game–think it was called Tangleword–over at the old Lycos games site about 10 years ago. I was very addicted to that game and have been hoping Pogo would get something like it for a looong time now! Boggle Bash definitely fills the void. I really like that the game lets you click/drag across the letters in a continuous chain and then submit with the right mouse button. I think that’s how Tangleword was. Anyway, I was very leery of cheaters when I first started playing tonight–based on all the posts here–but was happy to find there weren’t any–at first. I was the MVP in the first four rounds I played, but when I came back to the same room 30 minutes later, I was never even close again. There was at least one person who was scoring suspiciously high. In one round she found like 168 words and was continually getting similar scores. Impossible, and no one can change my mind on that. I don’t mind losing, but not to someone who doesn’t play by the rules. I wish there was a way where people couldn’t cheat, but I guess I’ll just have to live with it. I hope they’ll just move on after ranking out, like some of the people above mentioned. Anyway, thanks to Pogo for a great new game! Lura, let’s play sometime! It will be like the old Lycos days, LOL!
twinster 06.30.09 at 10:31 pm
what is the 10 letter words for the achievement badge ?
sweetlove 07.01.09 at 12:35 am
I like this game and all the word games it helps me with my typing skills to get better and it looks good on certain jobs.like someone mentioned before just cause someone gets a lot of wods in a round doesn’t mean they are cheating, they just type fast.and also about the websites i hear that help its really no different than the answers to the trivia.except trivia you win everytime you get the answers from here.and the sites that help with the word games it all depends how fast you type if you can get every word.
tigger 07.01.09 at 1:00 am
i dont do well with word games, but this one i did pretty good at, it was just ok for me though..
Leslielf2 07.01.09 at 1:52 am
Love Boggle but there are alot of “cheats” & the game just came out. I find it distressing when people use these programs and can’t understand what pleasure or fun they get by using the “Cheat Programs”. Just to say they ranked out in a matter of days!!! Wish Pogo could do something about them. Was recently playing a rated game in Canasta & it became obvious that my opponent was using a cheat program he got 4000 points on an opening meld. I’ve heard of good players but that is really almost impossible to do. Pogo also has rules for the game that says if an opponent looses by more then 600 points it doesn’t effect their ratings. That is bull!!!! It certainly dragged mine down by 100 points. Pogo get on the ball with these cheats and all these players on passes that disrupt the games with their harrassing and vulgar mouths.
Snowyjoke 07.01.09 at 4:40 am
I think its an addicted game again for me, but not easy when you come from the Netherlands to spell words you never know, so I do what you all do, just try and have fun.
For the people who works with autobots, I think they dont realy like to play games, why should you play with bots, its not playing in my opinion.
I dont care to win or to loose, just play and have fun. I dont like you may not chat during the game, because I love to chat to my friends, but I will survive ;-)
Have a great day all and today I go to the beach and enjoy the sun!
EdC 07.01.09 at 4:57 am
For me playing word whomp got me used to those pesky 3 letter words. Once you get the hang of those it’s easy to do well in this game. Also I’m not a fast typer so if you click like I do remember you can right click to submit your word.
I just got a server message saying the game was being shut down so maybe pogo will address some of those cripes errors.
Neo 07.01.09 at 7:50 am
@Leslielf2: The 600 point rule is the difference in player ratings, not the scores in the game.
Back on topic, Boggle is quite a good challenging game, one of the better games to come out in a long time. It’s sad seeing people cheat, not like that’s really a shock. But it seems so much more obvious in this game than in many others.
jules125 07.01.09 at 7:51 am
I only use a laptop and haven’t had the cripes error come up, yet! I hope I don’t get it either, it is very frustrating when that does happen. It’s happened to me in scrabble awhile back.
shelly 07.01.09 at 7:59 am
Twinster. There aren’t any specific words you have to spell for the 10 letter word badge, just spell a word that has 10 letters.
The only specific word needed for a badge is the word BADGE.
Sweetlove that is a very good point you make. People here are whining about the so called cheaters. Whether they are using an auto program or an anagram help site is actually no different to us coming here everyday to get the Trivia answers.
Just a week or so ago everyone was thanking people who pointed them in the direction of anagram sites to help with the Word Whomp golden word badge.
It really is no different folks!
Wolfe 07.01.09 at 9:19 am
I wondered if someone would point out the Trivial Pursuit answers here. Let’s be clear. When you play against the computer and no human opponents, you cheat only yourself. When you play against other people, there’s a BIG difference.
Your human opponents expect a fair shake when they play against a human opponent. Against a computer, most players stand no chance.
I’ll give an example.
Before I got one anagram into Boggle yesterday, my team won the goal in less than two seconds. I honesty thought the system lagged, but it became apparent to everyone that an auto was used.
No one else stood a chance at getting MVP or beating my team.
Again, it’s a big difference.
It’s not whining. It’s called fair play toward your peers in the competition. That’s all we’re asking.
Wolfe
shelly 07.01.09 at 9:48 am
Wolfe.
That’s a fair comment and I hadn’t thought of it like that if I’m honest, probably because IMHO I really am not bothered if someone uses an auto because its not winning games or making the team goal that gets you ranks its making words and no-one, auto player or not can affect how quick or slow I rank up, only me. So as long as they aren’t affecting my game and how my ranks go they can do what they like.
Thinking about it though Pogo seems to be affecting rank progress because on a rare occasion I get over 45 words it only counts 45 not anymore than that.
Admittedly in other games where me losing to another player affects my rank progress I would be annoyed to play against an auto user but for games like Boggle where they don’t affect my rank progress I’m not bothered.
kimberlee 07.01.09 at 10:12 am
I like this game a lot but very frustrating when yo are playing and some people are getting 150 words in a 90 sec round. That screams auto program all the way. Why cheat why not just work and get the badges the right way. My view is you pay for pogo why pay to cheat and get the badges if you want them earn them.
llinda871 07.01.09 at 2:04 pm
I waited till middle of the night and went into an empty room and played by myself and had a blast. Laughed loudly when at the end I looked at possible 6, 7, & 8-letter words….think I better make a list of them cause absolutely never would have come up with them LOL – as far as cheating goes…the only person’s bad habits I can control are mine and yes, I do use Trivial Pursuit answers. By the way, have been trying Germany and France’s Trivial Pursuit and Club Pogo Players cannot play there – I just got the free month Club Pogo for my nonmember name and now cannot get into play the game – it sends me back to the US site so I figure they don’t have Club Pogo there yet. Will have to wait a month till free subscription expires and then will go back and play catch-up….I really can’t figure out why I want so many tokens unless in the back of my mind I’m hoping Pogo will let us use them for yearly subscriptions/instead of gems/and to buy downloadables (don’t think it will EVER happen tho)! Enjoy Pogo everyone cause we never do know how long it may be around….seems like lots of things are disappearing (GM/Chrysler) these days that I never thought I’d see.
Chad 07.01.09 at 8:21 pm
Yes, back to the Boggle Bash cheating. Like Wolfe mentioned, it’s not whining–it’s a legitimate complaint. When I play Boggle, I want to gauge how I do against “real” people playing and not autos, bots (sounds like a Transformer!) or whatever they are. Last night when I went back in, there were a couple players getting like 350 word in just one round. One round! It was impossible to even come close to them! All of us in the room who were playing fair knew what was going on and would say things like, “WTG HUMANS” after each game was over. The people who were obviously using the auto programs did not deny it or even argue with us at all. I wish Pogo could figure out a way, technologically, to keep these programs from running during a game.
Bryan 07.01.09 at 9:12 pm
I agree too Chad…I don’t like “auto users” either, but it happens and there is nothing that we can do to stop it.
Back to Boggle. I use the anagram sites (just like in word whomp) only because that is the only way I will be able to find THAT MANY WORDS to rank out in. I type VERY fast though.
It is just like using the trivia answers from here.
Tim 07.02.09 at 2:06 am
I have played a lot of this boggle game so far and its great when there are actual humans playing and not against an auto bot. I have seen one person in a room I was playing in had over 100 unique words each and every time. Needless to say when I was on his team we won ever round thanks to his auto bot program, its very easy for me to see who is using the auto program and who isnt. A lot of other game its a little harder to tell but getting every word in boggle in less then 1 minute it becomes apparent. I do like the game and hope the auto botters go away. The other thing I would like for pogo to try is better anti-cheat for there programs. I know it would probably be a losing battle but it would be nice to see them try it. There have been some shooters games I would never play because of the auto botter issue and the game company never would employ anti cheat measures. Thanks for this great site and the forum to speak, GG to all.

As for tracking the 750 jackpot spin badge. Not sure if this is right but in stats it lists how many games you have won. When you win the game you get a jackspin so I would think they would be the same. (Atleast for me they are-am currently at 17 for spins and it it says 17 wins). Hope that helps.

Some people in chat were saying that the game has a cap of 45 words per round ( to hinder cheating) . Even if you get more it will only actually award you the 45 towards your progress. Pogo has been doing token limits in other games so it doesn’t surprise me. My only beef is that they could have capped it at around 100 words per round. It’s humanly possible to achieve more than 45 a round and quite easy for some of us who do play fairly.

Bryan.
I fail to see the difference between someone using an anagram site to help them and someone using an auto. However much you dress it up or try to justify it they are both methods of cheating.

i was in playing this morning im not getting credit for my tokens ive won has any1 else noticed that im not whining about it tho just wondering if the game is having problems other than that its a great game

Im a little surprised at all the double standards actually….
Seems cheating only applies to certain things…..ie…..
Most get there trivia answers from here, back before I knew about them, I was like how does someone get a perfect score, or answer all 20 questions correctly…then was told about this site that I love no doubt….
But please tell me what the difference is in going to a site that gives you anagrams, or an auto that gives you the words??? when youre getting the same thing here….answers are answers regardless of where you get them at!!!!
As long as it doesnt affect my account and my progress, I could care less what someone else does on there’s…
Its alot like life, they tend to their business, I tend to mine, when I come here to get the trivia answers that they so graciously supply everyday, thats MY choice and it is what is ….no matter how much someone wants to say its different…so unless you need the ego trip of being MVP in a pogo game, I would just say, as long as you do your thing, thats all that should matter…
One thing about it, they cant win the jackpot for you and other than that its just a GAME !!!
Just saying……

Hey guys! Quick question. What are the little white marks beside the names? I’ve read the how to play but it doesn’t say. I’ve never played boggle before, but I’m enjoying it.

I just have to say, if it wasn’t for the Word Generator site, I wouldn’t be so good at Scrabble or Boggle. I don’t cheat at either of them. I don’t use the Word Generator with them. In the distant past, however, I’d frequently used it on Word Whomp. I wasn’t playing against anyone else. The site gave me the words, I had to beat the clock entering them all. It was a fast way to gain the tokens back I lost in poker. Fortunately, and unfortunately, I can pick out some bizarre words in other games now. This leads to me having an overabundance of unique words, and being suspected of using some sort of cheat. Am I cheating now because I remember alot of the words from the word builder?

I would like to comment on the difference between getting the answers on a website or using a anagram from a website. I have no problems with any of them, why? Because getting something from a website and applying it to a game will almost certanly take you a little bit of time then using a auto bot program. The problem I see with auto programs is the domino effect, 1 person uses it the next person gets mad at the game because another person always wins all the time so the other person gets a auto program and very soon you end with about 40 to 50% of the people no longer using anything but auto programs. I do think its a small number of people using auto bots probl less then 5% I just find it troubleing. The othe diff. is word womp/trivial pursuit your not playing as a team but as an individual so it doesnt effect me in the least. I would also like to add I really playing the game and community that is pogo has always been for the most art very nice and very interesting to talk to.

Eric- Of course your cheating if you are getting more words and beating those players who choose to spend more time and effort watching someone elses stats and game. When if those who are so quick to holler “cheat or bot” would just use that effort to learn the game better, ie..remember new words. JUST KIDDING….
but honestly, I really looked forward to the game coming out and this game was no different from past new releases, all the accusations and
B–ching really takes the fun out of getting new games anymore.
Off my soapbox…ev1 have a SUPER and SAFE 4th of July, enjoy the weekend. Angie

I had specifically wanted hints and tips on Boggle Bash in this thread — not necessarily comments about autos and cheating methods — but I guess I didn’t do the best job of moderating this time around. I’m going to go ahead and close out this thread before it becomes “the official BadgeHungry auto and cheating discussion thread” (hm, there’s an idea).
To those of you who posted hints and tips — thanks so much!
If you’re coming here to look for hints or tips, there are some great gems hidden amongst the griping about cheating and autos.
I have no feelings in either direction about cheat sites and/or autos… either you use them or you don’t, I don’t discriminate. Everyone plays in their own way for their own reasons — to each his own! However, be warned that Pogo has in the past banned people, cancelled their accounts, and/or refused to pay them the rare jackpot prize because of auto use. The likelihood of anyone actually winning a Pogo jackpot is nearly lottery/lightning strike chances, and the chances of being caught using an auto are probably pretty slim too — but in the end, it’s your decision. Whatever you do, just make sure you’re still having fun!
