When you play Makeover Madness play on holy cow you will get more tips and your tips still count even if you don’t win the round. I got my badge in fifteen minutes.

Lori: thanks for letting us know. Getting the MM badge fast will help since HH looks like it’s going to take forEVER. :)
I activated the Father’s Day Limited Edition badge for HH as well and have been collecting both halos and HH symbols, kind of breaks up the monotony a little.

I can’t agree with you more lori. HH will take me a while also. It’s not as bad as monopoly slots (getting the dice) , but it’s close enough ;)

Yeah, if you’re experienced which Lori does not say you WILL fail each time you play Makeover Madness on Holy Cow. I mean who likes losing? Sure, you may get there faster. But play within your skills/talents. I’d only recommend it if you play with the Receptionist and Mind Reader powerup. Cause the days will be less stressful with those aids, cause believe me you DON’T want to play it straight out.
So yeah, Holy Cow is a good way in getting the badge faster. But I’d only suggest it if you’ve played this before and can handle that difficulty. Not to be a buzzkill or anything. I got my badge in under 10 games!
As far as Hog Heavens, good luck! Haha.

Hi all. I for one am VERY happy to see a badge take more than 15 mins for once. It seems like a lot of them are “freebies” lately. I do wish people would stop complaining about how long it’s going to take. Remember, you DONT have to do the challenges. I played for a hour and a half and now have 15. The only thing you can do is keep clicking. Makeover Madness took me about 15-20 mins. The only tip I have is just play on the highest level you can handle. GL ev1.

i agree mm was so easy but hogs it down to chance took me 2 1/2 hrs to get to 30,well better get trival done b4 hogs takes more tokies lololol,gl in getting ya badges.

im so happy to see the makeover madness badge and hog heavens these are my 2 favorites id love to see an album done with these 2 games like pogo did with scabble and other games that would be so cool to have an album done for each game id buy them so fast please pogo do the albums thank you gl all on badges and as for whining i dont do that cuz i love pogo and most of games thank you

I just started on Hog Heaven Slots and it will probably take a while, but that’s okay because I like the game, too bad I already reached rank 50. The only tip I have for Hogs is to switch rooms if you’re not getting many symbols. My first hour I only had 6…changed rooms and got 11 in less than an hour.
I always do the weekly challenges so for me(and many others I’m sure), choosing not to do the badge is NOT an option LOL!
I’m not complaining because it’s time consuming..I’m just frustrated because getting a symbol is based on pure luck.
Judging from the chat and the early poll results I see I’m not alone.

Since no one chose this particular rant…I shall RANT AWAY!! lol
I HATE Hogs because I NEVER WIN A SINGLE TOKEN!! And now we have to do a BADGE?? I don’t think so!! Not me anyway, lol Went to a room, was in there ten mins maybe, and lost 2 THOUSAND TOKENS!! This just may have to be a Weekly I pass on, yep, I’m passing on this one! As infrequent as those symbols come up, I could lose THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF TOKENS, only to be award a couple?? NAH!!
As far a MM goes, I tried Holy Cow and HOLY COW!!! I got dizzy just watching the screen and forgot I was supposed to be playing! ROFL Seriously, thought there’s got to be a better way, ARRRGGGHHHH!! So, I’m back to my normal level of play and I’m well over three-quarters done. HaHa to Holy Cow, I say! Don’t need that setting to get the Badge in plenty of time. I agree, work at your level, who cares WHEN you get it as long as you GET it, right?
OK, all done with the ranting and raving, lol

I have been lucky in HH. I have 21 in a little more than an hour. I totally agree that it is best to play MM at your own level – you have a week to do it. Good luck everyone.

ANOTHER QUICK FIX FOR TOKEN LOSS
If you lose a lot of tokens in HH (or any game…) I’ve found the quickest way to get them back is YAHTZEE in a room thats full. You get the super yahtzee bonus nearly every time if its full and almost always get at least 2000 tokens.

For those of you who feel like HH badge symbols don’t come up so often, or you’re losing a lot of tokens… try going to a 50+ room. I don’t know why, but for me, I feel like I win quite a bit more in the older crowd rooms (especially the named ones, not temps), as opposed to how much I win in the Topics or other age groups tabs. Just a thought… maybe it’s just my imagination, but whenever there’s a badge for this game, I always go to 50+!

In HH I only bet a maximum of 9 tokens per spin. I have 9 lines at 1 token per line, but if I start to lose I go to 1 token on one line. That way you are still spinning for the symbols but aren’t losing much.

In two days i have put in almost 12 hours trying for that blah blah badge in HH, still only have 32, i have switched rooms i have moused with eyes closed with tongue out, smile, frown and tears…. tried all age rooms and heck dont know if im going to fool with it or not???????

It doesn’t really matter to me how many tokens I lose. Yesterday I was up 18k…this morning I lost em big time. I found that the named rooms are better. I’ll try the 50s room tonight when I get home from work. I only need 4 more. :)

Yay, finished my badges today. I’m going to admit it took me 5+ hours to complete the HH badge, though I was watching television and/or reading in another web browser most of the time. I saw a lady today say she got it in 3 hours, but I’m pretty sure her sense of time was out of whack. LOL.
Right now the poll on how long/how fun the badges were comes in at about 33% for 2-4 hours and 33% for 4-6 hours. Maybe I was just unlucky. Either way, I’m convinced there’s no rhyme or reason to getting this particular badge faster. If switching rooms or going into a particular ‘zone’ seems to go faster, by all means do it. Everyone’s perception affects their reality and if you perceive you are getting symbols faster, then obviously it’s going to be a better experience for you when you have to get 50. :)

I finally got the HH badge at 2:30am. Played for 13 hours only taking a couple breaks to eat, let dog out, have a smoke. In my last two hours playing I had 20 symbols left to get. I got the idea to change my bet every spin and it seemed to help quite a bit. I’d bet 5, then 6, then 7, and so on, up to 10. Then repeat. I got the remaining 20 symbols in under 2 hours.
As for the Makeover game, I played on Hard mode. I didn’t notice anyone used the Robot Receptionist? It helped me out quite a bit. Got the badge in 15-20 minutes.

I find it really interesting that people are saying they are losing tokens to HH. I remember when I first joined “the Club” there were many websites claiming HH was one of the fastest way to get tokens. I ranked up to 20 on a mission to tease my mother (it is her favorite game) and I still remember how shocked I was at the amount of tokens you won overall – after all it is a slots game, you will lose some, but the payouts seem so high.
I got HH in about 3 hours, which in the rooms I went to seemed to be the average of the people chatting. I’m waiting until later this week to do MM so I can use a computer with a mouse instead of a laptop touch pad, that would be my hint – touch pads are not helpful for that sort of game! GL all!

It was another easy week for badges…I said easy lol not less time consuming! It took me almost 8 hours to get HH. What a pain!
A quickie rant: a woman came in and asked what the symbols were. Ok…we all know she just needed to read how to play. But then I checked her stats and she was rank 50!! Grrrr to people who ask questions they already know the answers to!
And isn’t it funny how we don’t want to lose tokens when the only thing we really do with them is buy mini items? It’s not like most of us don’t have more than enough tokens for that lol! But I hate seeing my token count go down!

Hi all, it’s so funny to read your comments, I realy have to laugh laudly. The superstition of a lot of people is so incredible.
I play HH when I’m reading, watching TV or creating other things on the pc for Second Life like scins or tatoos. I don’t believe you must change rooms or do other things, just play and dont think about it. I have play a lot of time, but who cares? Not me, I don’t complain because I like to play on pogo and when Its boring me, I look up a friend and chat with her and so the time go on and your symbols going up without bad feelings.
I don’t believe you loose a lot of tokens, because when you go to your stats it seemed that you get more tokens then you loose and who cares?
Not me! What do I to get more tokens? I activate another Premiumbadge and a Mix and Matchbadge, you can activate them about 30 times till you get no more tokens, so that will help to get more tokens to ;-)

Hi all, I was afraid to play HH, thought I’d lose too many points, not really a gambler, but my sister talked me into trying and I love it, but mostly because of the great people that I chat with although those little flying hog challenges can be fun. My advise is to get into a room with people that u enjoy chatting with. It makes it alot more fun and helps the time go by faster. I played the weekly badge and decided to take the advise of several others and bought the Father’s Day Mix and Match Badge and played both at once, which made the games much more exciting. It took me 6+ hours to get my badges, but I had fun with others doing it. Also, what are our tokens for anyway, we make as many as we can and have very little ways to use them. I’ve found that HH is a great way to make tokens, IF u bet the max. I even hit the 100,000 tokens yesterday…I nearly fainted. Altogether, I made over 200,000 tokens getting these badges and that’s not bad. You just have to not give up, have a lot of patience and enjoy.
If you still want this badge, have fun getting it, that’s what it’s all about. And thanks Lura, for Trivial Pursuit. My sister told me (and she has won the 100,000 tokens also) that you should set a limit of what you want to lose at each session you play and then stop awhile when u reach that limit. You can always go replenish your tokens at Trivial Prsuit, thanks to you Lura. I’ve found this to be good advice.

This may be a little late… But for those who are doing the badges for more than one account, it seems to go a bit better to double browse it. Less waiting to click play with two rooms going and if you put your names in two different rooms, two different sets of conversation to keep up with.

I don’t know what is up with HH. In months past, it was always a sure bet to come out with more tokens than when I started, if I bet max for a couple hours, waiting for a few big payoffs. In the last month I consistently lose about 2000 tokens per hour of play, regardless of room. Stupidly, I keep holding out for one more hour, then another, and end up with big losses for the time spent. I think they must have changed the odds. A few bad days I can understand, but weeks in a row of consistent losses?? Sad, because it’s probably the least boring slots game on pogo.
