For Rainy Day, just play on Easy and concentrate on making sets.

To get the Canasta badge quick, play in a private room with robot and let the pile pile up for a while – watch what the computer is discarding so he can’t pick it up. Then when you pick up the pile (i’d say wait til it’s got 20 or more in it) you have more chances of getting canastas with no wilds quickly. Also on the settings say you need 2 canstas to meld not just one. hope this helps :)

Some people are not understanding the rainy day challenge. Don’t use the column on the right. It is the bonus column. There were people in the room who didn’t understand and were playing games that didn’t count toward the challenge. Hope this helps. Good luck!

It helps also with The Rainy Day Badge to play on easy level, it helps me to get win every game I play, maby I can help somebody with this tip ;-)
And yess you can use the freeplaces on the bottem of the game, you can’t only use the right column!

I played Canasta the way Cookie did, and I got my badge in two games; it took about 10 minutes.

I have a old cribbage rated badge to do. I think I need 9 rated wins….anyone have any hints?

Getting all four red threes AND having all four black threes will also count as a no-wilds Canasta for this badge.

The Canasta badge was quite easy to do and fun. It’s one of my favourite games. I am doing the Rainy Day one on easy as well.

I think there is a rated win 1000pt games(s) for spades badge somewhere. If anyone needs that badge I would like to earn mine and am willing to help others.

For the canasta badge, play in a beginner room.
The bot will not touch the pile until there are 10 cards in it, so save your wilds and black 3′s. for after the pile reaches 10.
In the beginner room, the bot also discards the cards you need to make a canasta often.
Just make sure you set the table so that you need 2 canastas to meld out, otherwise the bot may end up ending the hand before you are ready.

I found it easier to get the Canasta badge by playing 4 player games because it gives you an extra player to help get more cards for melds.
