I have only done the Quick Quack one so far as I thought that would be the hardest but I got it in under 5 minutes and only 2 games!
What I did was start game as normal. If you have say two 3s that are different colours keep those and get rid of everything else. Keep getting rid of everything else until you get 2 more 3s of the colours you want.
At one point I had three 3s and three 2s I was working on. Kept getting rid of everything else until the numbers and colours I wanted dropped in.

Yes…Quick Quack was quite easy once I realized that it wasn’t to get to the “rainbow zone” but to get 4 of the same numbers in all 4 colors in a row! Then it went really fast. I think you have to try to forget the basic rules or desire to get that big streak and let a few ducks go to get this badge. Yahtzee…well…it’s Yahtzee! I love the game…but it is a game of chance and luck. Getting this badge will not be as quick if luck is not on your side. I tend to switch rooms if luck is not going my way for too long. Pick rooms with lots of people…you hit Super Yahtzee more! =)

oh and for yahtzee my only suggestion is to play in the classic room because you only need 225 instead of 250 to get a jp spin. most games i can get a jp spin….always aim for the ‘top score bonus’ to increase points.

I’m getting really tired of Yahtzee, it isn’t that easy to get a jps. I have found that, although the amount of points needed is higher in the “Wild” rooms, at least I have one win there – as opposed to zero/five in the normal. So if you aren’t doing well, try a wild room I guess. GLA!

Yahtzee is proving to be frustrating for me also. I get a jackpot about
one in three times. I just am not lucky. :-(

Does anyone else seem to have a problem with yahtzee freeing up their computer. I really like the game but sometimes I don’t even make it through a full game and my computer totally freezes up. CTRL ALT DEL doesn’t even do a thing. Just curious. Thanks

Stephanie, I am right there with you. Yahtzee freezes up on my computer. It was worse today for weekly challenge but, it does happen to me too.
I delete temp files and cookies daily, also clear java regularly, no virus scanning going on while I am playing, no other programs running in the background. I’m guessing just pogo glitch.

I have had this same problem too! I have found that I have to have the pogo home page loaded behind the yahtzee game. If I have anything else, including my desktop background, the computer completely freezes up. It could be a coincidence, but that’s what happens to me!

Chrissy: there’s no real tip for Yahtzee other than to just play it. Some people have had better luck in full rooms, and some say you should go with a classic room over a wild one. I myself have had better luck in wild rooms that are full.

I am extremely annoyed!
I froze playing yahtzee. I had 12 j/p spins done. Now, it shows that I have none and I have to start all over again.
Did this happen to anyone else?

Fionavar5914: I’ve had it happen on several occasions over the years. All might not be lost though, try going back into a room and seeing if your next Jackpot spin is number 13. Sometimes after a crash, it’ll say you’ve completed none, but it just seems to need another to add to the total to correct itself.

Fionavar and Lura – I’ve had the same thing happen to me quite a lot over the years, too. In fact, it happened in Yahtzee because its’ programming eats up so much java that it starts to bog down and never recovers, and I was at 24 out of 25! I used to do it your way, Lura… until I found myself actually starting over once. Since then, every time I crash and find that Pogo has set me back to zero, I simply close out of all my browser windows, wait about 2 minutes, then relaunch my browser again. I may be sacrificing a couple minutes of my time, but giving Pogo those two minutes to play catch up means I’ve never lost badge progress again.
On a side note, Lura… just an FYI: The banner for Scrabble’s badge tracker page is showing a broken link.

Lura, thank you for the tip on playing the Wild mode in Yahtzee. It worked great for me. I was really struggling in he Classic mode. I love your website!
