I’m not really sure why they have Scrabble Challenges at all considering all of the email, complaints they get but I guess that’s Pogo Being pogo. All Challenges seem easy and straight-forward, you need to make sure you play sweet tooth in the Carmel rooms not the old style.

For scrabble or actually any word game on pogo I use scrabble help sites. you just type in the letters you have and a letter that you are thinking of using on the board with your word and it pulls them all together to create all the words with those letters. The site address is http://www.wineverygame.com/wbg.php
This site saves my butt in scrabble and every other word game on pogo.

For Scrabble, simple. Just keep on exchanging your letters for blank ones. If you don’t care to win, you can keep on doing it and get it all in one game.

For Sweet Tooth to get the wild candies you have to play the caramel version of the game

Kevin 04.08.09 at 11:26 am

To get Wild Candies, you need to build combos of 5 or more. And yes it has to be in Caramel Mode!

If you see a tile with a yellow glow around it in Scrabble, click on it and it will give you that blank tile.

In Scrabble.. i kept exchanging the letters for blank ones and it will only count one at a time!!

KayentaJane 04.08.09 at 12:51 pm

For Sweet Tooth, you need to play in the Caramel version, and to generate the wild candy you need to line up five in a row (Up, down, or diagonal… T shape doesn’t count.) Once I knew it was lining up five candies to get the wild candy, it was easy sailing. Good luck All!

re: Scrabble, Pogo is only giving credit for Dealt Blank tiles, not the blank tiles we can get by exchanging tiles from the board. Also, if you are dealt Two blanks, use them one per turn. Learned the hard way…lol. Enjoy badge day!!!

Tracey 04.08.09 at 1:57 pm

http://www.scrabble.com, type in the letters. IT helps alot and makes game go faster. I guess it’s cheating, but i lay against the computer.

Tracey 04.08.09 at 1:58 pm

i also hate aces up, any tips would be great

For Aces Up, I always rearrange my top cards…never leave them in the order Pogo gives them to you.

I thought they were pretty easy this week. Sweet Tooth took a little planning and I love word games so Scrabble was fun.

Happy Badge Hunting!

Duh me… not diagonal. I don’t know what I was thinking when I typed the above… (Now that I’m onto the fourth account earning the sweet tooth badge for.) Five in a row up or down will generate the wild candy.

Kevin 04.08.09 at 8:26 pm

Oops, my mistake. Thought they counted those ones too, guess not. Sorry!

Ya I hate aces up, great looking and sounding game however the gameplay kills it all. I do like the other two games, they seem to be very doable.

Thank you for the tip on exchanging the blank tiles. I am doing badges for 2 friends who live in the USA. I’m in the UK and use that as a way to play the game.

The Sweet Tooth badge seems easy. Got 3 in 5 mins. Not too confident about Aces Up though.

All the challenges were pretty simple this week.. Scrabble threw me for a minute, but then realized how they were awarding the blanks. Sweet Tooth, as stated earlier, just took some planning. Aces Up, although not a big fan of the game, was still easy to get. When I start I draw every draw to get an idea of where cards are located, then undo it all then play… works pretty good, but a good memory doesn’t hurt.

thankfully no problems for me with any of them sweet tooth took the longest for me the other two were done in under 45 mins, sweet tooth took about a half hourish and my personal was done in no time either now i’m bored lol.. don’t really have any tips for anyone, scrabble is easy enough just need to play a blank tile, don’t have to win the game to get credit for it…sweet tooth line up five in a row to get the wild card, and as far as aces up not sure what to say on that one, just don’t use all your planes to get rid of cards if possible otherwise it will be a long road to the fifty needed :O)

Apollo 04.09.09 at 11:32 am

Liked all three!
I love Aces Up, Glad to finally see another challenge in that game!
Although not a huge fan of word games.. thankfully Scrabble didn’t take as long as i thought it would.
And for Sweet Tooth, Planning is The Key.

Well I found this weeks badges pretty easy. In less than 3 hours I got 4 badges (including my personal…but I chose an easy one) I started with aces up being the longest but I don’t mind that game, not tips for it really though.
Sweet tooth i found it easier to get sets of 5 on harder difficulty, but that’s me.
Scrabble I was a bit upset that you can only get credit for 2 a game but it wasn’t too bad still went pretty quick.
Good luck everyone hope the badges go well for you. Happy Easter :)

I’ve been sick all week so I’m just now starting on my badges. Ugh! I lost all of yesterday to the napmonster.

About Aces Up — one of the best solitaire games, taught to me by my favorite babysitter when I was a kid. My hints:

* make sure you remove all possible cards before dealing the next row (each column has one of each suit in it)

* don’t use your flying aces (shoot ‘em down planes) until all the cards have been dealt (and since they’re needed for the badge, try not to use them at all if possible)

* use your undo button OFTEN, especially to figure out just the right time to move your Aces, if you can’t move them to a blank column

I’m sure other people have some good ideas too — speak up, please!

Hi Lura,
Hope youre feeling better :)
This week and weekend have been amazing for me, was out in Detriot to watch my hometown tarheels win the NCAA Championship, then flew home and celebrated with the team in Chapel Hill.

But guess what I did while waiting at the airport etc…..yep played pogo lol….Badges were pretty simple this week, just wanted to say I loved the candies on Sweet Tooth …..the eggs, down to the blue bunnies were so cute..

Take care of yourselves and may the Easter Bunny be good to all of you!!!!

Wow your lucky Berti, exchanging tiles did not work for me. I only got credit for the ones I was given. I like the sweet tooth Easter candy too. I was not expecting it and was a cute surprise. Happy Easter to everyone and may all your eggs be BEAUTIFUL :)
