A few months ago I gave up on Everyone WhinesWins Bingo at about rank 5 and after a few badges/challenges I was at rank 9 when the Mini Awards were released a little while back. That’s enough to get the Acorn Helmet hat and Young Oak goodie, but rank 11 is needed for the Secluded Forest background. Ever the fan of nature (and always the Pogo Mini collector), I decided to spend a few hours and rank up enough in EWB to get my fancy background.
(Insert several hours of room-switching because of chat about “acorn-hoggers”, “anti-sharers” and “sharing-nazis” — I AM SO NOT KIDDING.)
Ding! Rank 11.
I’d already claimed all of the Mini Awards available in every game (except Canasty, but that’s another adventure I’m not willing to participate in at this point in time, awesome Vespa goodie or not), so I’d never seen the magic happen. For those of you, like me, who wondered what happens when you win a Mini Award, behold:
This window popped up as soon as I reached rank 11, just like a badge notification would. That’s my current mini, with her background replaced with the newly won one.
