Beaker Creatures has been released. It’s also Pogo’s first game in Flash (as opposed to the previous games which were all created in Java).
Don’t fret, you probably already have Flash installed in order to see the animated badges, but if you don’t you can download it from Adobe.
This game has 50 ranks and six total badges (ranks 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50; and a special in-game badge). If you have any hints or tips on how to rank up fast or get the special badge, post it in the comments below. Thanks!

I don’t know about you guys, but this game takes *forEVER* to load for me. Once it’s loaded, it’s just slightly more fun than I expected it to be.
I did three rounds just quickly matching either three of the same or different color and tried to mix in other features when I could. It’s one of those games you’ll be able to rank up in even if you don’t know what the heck you’re doing, I suspect.
Once you’ve chosen two creatures, you can mouse over the rest to light up the combinations they’d give. Easy peasy.

I agree that Beaker Creatures is more fun than what I expected.
But it is still a strange game. I have ranked up to ten already
and gotten my first badge. I had to take a break though!!
I bought the new premium album also.
I do have to say that someone in here offered to help with a badge.
I contacted them but they never responded. So much for that offer.
Suggestion: don’t offer if you don’t mean it…….

What a mundane game. Nothing that I would play on a regular basis. I would have preferred to see what Monopoly Slots was like or a new word game. It’s good it’s not a premium game as it would be a waste of money.

Nothing great about this game. I will play it for awhile already at rank 10. Play on Hard level the ranks go faster. I didn’t know there was a special badge for this game. I bought the new premium album also.

The game is better than i thought it would be. nothing special thought….although I could see it being a good learning game for kids I bought the new album i’m not sure when I will get to it thought i’ve been trying to work hardcore on mix n matches lately. i’m wayyy behind on my premium badges

I don’t really like the game, but for some reason I keep playing. Probably because it’s new. I can’t see myself playing this much at all. Thank goodness it wasn’t a premium game, because I would have never purchased it! I was hoping for Monolopy Slots before this game. Oh well hopefully it will be soon. Have a great Tuesday all!

It’s a ok game. I think my kids will like it more than I do. I will continue to play until another one comes out. I do agree I would like to have seen a Monopoly slots or other challenging game come out. The only problem I have been having is the amount of downloadable games that have been coming out. Most of us don’t have the extra 20 bucks for them so some of us are getting frustrated at that one. Good Luck to all and have fun playing!!

Beaker Creatures reminds me of the old Sweet Tooth. Don’t understand why Pogo had to make it need Flash instead of Java. At least it is a new game. Still looking forward to Monopoly slots.
The new badge album seems ok. Although again I am puzzled by badge requirements on weekly challenges (10 gold pins) vs. silver pins on a badge where you have a much longer time to complete the challenge. Did the badge requirements change and I missed it? I hope so! My experience is that a silver pin appears in just about every game whereas the gold ones are very rare.

game is ok, makes you think. if you’re ok with 5 point matches, then it’s fine to just click 3 and see what happens. but for 10 point groups, you actually do have to engage your brain.
just out of curiosity, is anyone else’s family classics badge album missing? i still have two challenges i haven’t played (i’m working on ranking out lottso right now, so don’t spend much time playing anything else except for the weeklies) and when i looked for them today, the book isn’t there??? weird. i did buy the new one though.

I dont have any hints or tricks for Beaker Creatures..how ever I think they should put up a warning label on the game that reads..
“WARNING THIS GAME MAY CAUSE DIZZINESS OR DROWSINESS

UGH!!!! Ive played several times giving pogo the benefit of the doubt but this one they can keep! I sure hope they raise the bar for next release… well thats my grump for the day lol

It would be the blind leading the blind in Euchre. All I can say is patience, persistence, play with bots, and make sure you understand the jacks rule. If you have aces and both the jacks you should win games. I just stumble along til I get the badge when it comes to Euchre. If you think it would be helpful to have another person at the table with you let me know and I will check back later to play with you.
I hope this flash situation doesn’t become a problem when trying to reload Beaker Creatures. Also, any word on what the secret badge is and how to get it?

What problems are you having with the flash. I had a trouble with it. Give me another tool bar with popup blocker I had to tell goole to put my yahoo back and fix it and unmark goole. I think it was mistake to download the flash because the game was working fine without it I think I already had it in my pc.

I have not been able to get this game to load all day. Yes i have Flash installed as well as java. At one point i tried to let it load for about 30 minutes and nothing. Is anyone else having this problem? I have also tried uninstalling then reinstalling Adobe Flash.

The game is alright and pretty easy to play at least there is no timer, what I am having trouble with is telling the difference between the horns and eyes, maybe I just need glasses …lol

Ok so my cmp is odd for some reason I cant play java games in Ie any more but can play them in firefox and now I cant play this new one in ie or firefox its stuck on game loading tho on my other cmp it loads right away.

Lori~ I just ranked out on this game, (woohoo..lol) and when I was playing on Hard, there were 9 Rank Points possible a game, 3 for each beaker you can fill up each game…on easy there were 3 Rank Points possible a game, 1 point for each beaker you can fill-up a game….it took about 8 1/2 hours of playing through out the day to finish…thank goodness it ranked fast, and I had 3 kids to play in shifts..lol…I didnt get the 6th “secret” badge though, and dont know how to get it…Pogo’s doing a good job of keeping that badge “secret”….lol…good luck everyone!!

I Ranked Out in Beaker Creature playing on Hard in about 9 hours with a couple of breaks for the tired old eyes. I haven’t found what they say is a secret or special badge for it either and have had many, many Sets of the 10.
Shan, I would suggest trying a different browser, since this game uses Flash instead of Java, they say it works better on Firefox, which I used and had no problems with the game whatsoever.

I’m absolutely not impressed. I really think this kind of game would have been best suited and saved for the rumored Pogo Kids site (I say it’s still rumor, even though Pogo contacted me about what I thought about having a kids site and if I’d let me kids play on it … but they never breathed a word about it again since..). I got to rank 1, and have one rank point away from rank 2, but honestly become too bored to want to play already. So I closed it and went to play another game I enjoy.
P.S. No loading issues on this end. It loaded very quickly for me. Took about 1 minute of the green screen, and then when the grey loading bar come up, it zipped right through. I wonder if some issues might be internet connection, pogo server busy times, and possible cluttered systems as issues? I just recently did a full out disk wipe and started over fresh with my system. Things seem to be speedy and without problem so far. Just some ideas for those suffering from slow loading times.

I like the game was kind of hoping that Monopoly Slots would have been out to can’t wait for Lottso Express to come out looks like fun. This game was more fun then I thought it would be, I too have ranked out already while working 3rd shift at my job for the last 2 days lol. I looked at my stats for the game and it took me 190 games on hard level lmao now if I could only figure out what I needed for the secret badge. Take care all have a good day!!!

Here is a link to find out which version of Flash you are using. It mentions also that your browser may be loading an earlier version. I wonder if that means we need to delete all other versions off the computer then reboot. I hope this help those who are having trouble with the game.

for peoples that want to reload or load flashplayer,first remove the old one and make sure the adobe reader is out. make sure when you load iton macromedia,that you load the reader with that,also since january we were told that 512 memory could be slow so it be time to get 1 gig on your computer,and if anyone need help on badge just locate me and ask ,i be glad to help out. ty

The game was more fun than y’all led me to believe, then again I enjoy trying to get perfect scores on it. I got up to rank 14 and took a break, tomorrow I”ll hopefully get back to it.
As far as offering help with badges, I can offer help with Spades or Canasta, the other games I usually don’t even attempt to play, oh wait, Gin, I do play that one also. I won’t flake out on anyone lol.
Looking forward to completing the new premium, friends album sooner or later, however I suck at bowling.

LORI.. Rank points are:
easy = 3 per round
med = 6 per round
hard = 9 per round
NOTE: if you go from easy to med, first round will only be 3 points but after you play another on med it will adjust amount and give you 9pts on second round and than the usual 6pts for each med round after that..same principle for med to hard.. if you go down levels, if will add pts to how many rank pts you need to next rank..

well Tuesday is here and No Monopoly slots OH well I guessed I should have crossed my toes to was kind of hoping that it would be out today well I hope next week then. Lottso express is it going to be out soon? When I sign into the UK and go to edit my favorites it is their but you can’t play it yet and when I sign out and sign in again for the U.S and Canada and go to edit my favorites it don’t even show it their so what’s up with that? so I really hope that monopoly slots will be out next Tuesday wish it will be out tomorrow but I guess I will have to wait.

I have enjoyed this game, and I am not 6 or 66 … but I like the games that are difficult when you want them to be but just mindless clicking when that is what I am in the mood for. I have heard rumor that the secret badge is connected to the perfect streaks (3 perfect 10′s in a row) but it might be like mahjong safari was. .. once I reached the higest level, I still was only about 60 percent finished in the *gift* department there. I can offer my assistance with badges, as I have not missed any yet.

Well I have ranked out for this mindless game in only 211 games. In search of the “secret” badge, I am still trying to find it. I have 3,855 Perfect Sets and 1,070 Total Streaks, all on Hard skill level. Still have not found it so I can’t be of any assistance in that quest.

Hi, i havent been able to play the game yet, it wont load just says game loading, i dumped my temps, checked java i tried it on both of my browzers which are internet exploer and mozilla/firefox all have been updated and i have flash , i emailed pogo and we tried everything i think theve emailed me about 16 times with different soultuions, ive done everything theyeve sugeested and my laptop is a 2007 so guess this is a game i wont get to try, hope pogo doesnt do anymore games in flash, is anyone else having this problem? I let the game try and load for 30 minutes still says game loading :( im 20 and good with computers but this is just stupid, lol last messege from pogo suppsort was there still looking for a solotuion maybe they could make a version with java?

sorry to say, but the assumption that easy=3, medium=6, hard=9 is WAY off base. I play on hard, and I’ve gotten 2, 3, 6, 9, and 15… I can NOT figure out the method to pogo’s madness on this one. the one that I just got 2 on, I had 2 beakers filled, was only 2 pts shy of the 3rd on filled… I wish pogo would let us know HOW you get the rank points, cuz it’s rather maddening!

hi everyone..nice to meet you all. Ive seen where some of you are having problems downloading the flash player. when you get to the game and it tells you to download..click on it. after its downloaded..close everything..all windows except your download window. Once you click download…close the download window too. after download, open your browser ( i prefer mozilla, i think its faster) and open the game. It should be ok after that. Good luck. Its a little detailed to put in a sentence. Please look above the chat box you will see a ? click on that and hit scoring. A box will open if you move your game to one side and the box to the other you can refer to it as you play. I found this the easiest way as a newbie to get the perfect matches.

There is a 6th badge on badgeaddicts, a glass bowl of sorts filling with creatures, however, 25,000 perfect sets is NOT the trick. I’m at 7,600 perfect chains, so maybe 10,000 of those? That seems absurd since I would be about rank 200 at this point, but who knows. Pogo doesn’t show ANY other badge in this game, which it normally does for secret badges like bloops, etc.

I’m about 99.9% sure it’s not in the game yet — Pogo held out on releasing the ‘secret’ badge in Bloop for a while too. And maybe Mahjong Safari’s secret badge(s) too, but it was released when I was on a long vacation, so details are a little fuzzy. :)
