Because I was sick and utterly down for the count most of the week, I don’t have much to talk about — I have only just started the Squelchies weekly and didn’t have the patience to do it in one sitting! I am, however, looking forward to the Friends Forever PBA. How about you?
This weekend’s open thread will be closed early Sunday morning — my husband is taking me gambling! You can be sure I’ll be keeping an eye out for Poppit! Slots at the casinos. (I managed to find a few Poppit! machines to eat our money while were on our honeymoon last spring. Let’s hope I have a little better luck this time.)

I’m pretty excited for the Friends Forever Album. That looks like a good one. Only game I’m not that fond of is Lottso but I think I’ll live :) Have fun at the Casino. I played the Poppit game once, its a lot of fun

I’m hoping we see Monopoly Slots this coming up week!

I’m really hoping this Tuesday brings some new stuff cuz it is like being in a POGO *dry spell* right now LOL. Nothing new to work on, no new mini stuff, no new tokens, nothing *sigh* LOL. I know I ask for a lot, but hoping to see the new badge album, new mix n match, AND Monopoly Slots Tuesday, Oh, and then new mini stuff on Thursday too! haha! I really wish they would come out with something that would allow you to buy up to 4 personal weekly challenges a month if you wanted to. I’ve become such a badge ho that unless I am working on a badge, it’s not all that fun LOL. Thinking of emailing them for what it’s worth. Not sure if it’s just me, but I’m really disappointed in this new Beaker Creatures game. I feel it looks like a game for small children and think POGO could have done much better, but that’s JMHO :)

This weeks badges wernt as bad as i thought they were going to be. I acually for onced enjoyed playing Squelchies after checkers rofl Looking forward to Monoply slots….do we know a release date or month yet? lol OHHHH, donty you just loooove the Poppit slot game?! Me and my husband look forward to playing that game everytime we go to our local casino (Foxwoods in Conn). He doesnt even play on Pogo and he loves the Poppit. Hope everyone is enjoying the cold weather lol I think Phil said 6 more weeks of winter! BLAH!!!

I’m with you Nan about being a badge ho. I don’t really like to play on pogo for the most part unless I am working on a badge – even if i love the game. How sad is that? Luckily for me I always buy all the mix and match badges and I’m WAY behind although it’s mostly games I don’t want to play. I’m actually working on an older squelchies mix n match badge this week to get 100 blowfish. I think i’m going to be doing squelchies for my personal as well. I’m trying to get the 2003 badge album completed and I’m getting down to the last 5-6 badges now…pretty much all hard ones too.
Checkers was super easy..but I used my trick that I like to use sometimes, i have a free pogo name and I used it on IE and my regular name on Google Chrome and just played against myself and let myself win so I was done in like 20 mins!

I liked the person’s comment who said that they wanted a neither option for favorite challenge this week. Checkers did make Squelchies the more enjoyable challenge. There are more Squelchies challenges then any other game. So many that they just change the spelling on the badges lol.
Nan, I like your idea on doing more personal challenges. I would rather do that then get the downloadable games and not have them work after I pay for them.
Next time I get to a casino I am going to look for the Poppit slots? Are they all the same as far as play or is it just a brand for the machines?
We’re getting a thaw here for a while. I know Phil was right on GH Day but will take what we can get.

Hey Everyone ,Hope you all have a good weekend :) hope you are feeling better Lura and have fun on sunday :) I too am looking forward to the PBA and monopoly slots and kinda glad they havn’t come out before now as it has given me a chance to finish sock hop,ali baba and bingo luau TG for that one being done lol I expect the game will be out come tuesdayd maintenance day and badges on wednesday like always lol or i hope anyway i have no badges left to work on or albums as i’ve completed them all ..i think the idea about extra personals is great they could let us maybe use our tokens for them cause lets face it other than things in the mall what else can you do with them ?

I don’t know how everyone else feels, but I would totally love to see some new Quick Quack badges- weekly and M&M. The badges for that game seem to be nearly nonexistent and I love how I can just take my sweet time with the game, veg while I play it and still be amused. It’s awesome!

I’m down to the last 5 of 2003 as well, but I’m not good at any of the games left so am kinda stuck. I wish we could use tokens for more than just mini mall items since I have over 13 million just sitting there. lol.

Hi all,,,,I did 6 checkers badges this week,,,,,my 3 names and 3 others, so far…. got 2 more to do,,,,spacing them out, cuz,,I hate that game but I am great at losing!!!! We all took turns losing to each other, it took 45 mins or so per game,,,,not bad at all,,,,squelchies was ok,,,,2 hour badge, which i also have done on all names,,,and friends want me to do theirs also,,,,,yikes!!!!
To thos people that say they don’t have fun unless they are working on badges……..I am somewhat like you, but I do the ones I like over and over again,,,you still get tokens for them,,,they just go down 100 each time you do them,,,,I have some that are down to 0 tokens! specially the quickie casino ones!!!

I think when they did that marathon Quick Quack badge a year or so ago, they nearly killed that game for lots and lots of people. So, maybe they’re biding their time to let the bad memories fade a bit…although I don’t think they ever will…lol.
I heard in Hotshot mini show last Thursday that the red beating heart will be back on the 26th of February. A pogo official mentioned this. That seems to be one of the past items that people want.
I too am waiting anxiously for the new PBA and monopoly slots and lottso slots…check everyday too.

OMG we’re having a heat wave. Temp is in the 40’s here in western New York today. Two days ago it was -6 with a windchill of -20. And the sun is shining!!! You can’t imagine how uplifting that feels. Lura good luck at the casino. I’m thinking about hitting up the casino in Niagara Falls next week. I will have to see if we have the poppit slots.

Hi everybody. I saw at first that the next Hearts challenge was going to be to shoot the moon 3 times….now Pogo is showing 2. Somewhere else I saw it will be to win 10 games. Does anyone know for sure what the challenge will be?
I am anxiously waiting for the new Monopoly slots and new album too. They sound like a lot of fun.
I sure wish Pogo would take some time to add ranks to the existing games and make them all rank to 100. I love to play on Pogo, but it is a lot more fun playing towards a goal, and I know a lot of people have ranked out in many of the games.

I was just trying to find some info on Trivial Pursuit ranks. It started out as one pie per rank but it seems to be a work in progress for Pogo to let us know the ranking. I know the next level is Creep and it appears to be a 3 pie rank. Does anyone know if Pogo has made a firm decision on how many pies per level?

Oh Ketzra … I love Quick Quack! Yes, it’s true LOL. Now I wasn’t here for that awful challenge, but I do love the game and would love to see some MNM for that too, or more weeklies. But as some say, the memories of it are probably still too fresh and I’m sure there would be lots of complaining. We can hope though :)

I haven’t been very excited about completing either of this week’s badges. I grabbed the laptop to start working on them last night and noticed I had an e-mail from pogo. I’ve been selected (finally!) to be a beta tester. yayayayay! I try every time they ask for beta testers and thought I would never get in. It’s probably silly, but I am so excited.

i, to am a badge hoi agree they should have more personal badges or weekly cause they are done quickly more palbums to,i noticed the badges are not on sale like they use to beearly pogo is changing we like sales at timesbetter 10 then 16.hope u have fun at casino good luck i fine when i play sock hops i dont get the story was on 3 hours and didnt get anything so i quit it abd ducks oh no that game is hateful for kids
